By far the best Star bucks ! Always greeted by Beth, she is so friendly , professional and efficient ! Served by Vicky today , again , polite and friendly. I won’t go to any other Starbucks !

I was warmly greeted by Alannah who was very friendly and professional. I was told my order would be a moment. It came out within a minute. Great friendly and fast service in a nice atmosphere. Strongly recommend.

Always polite and friendly. Never get my drink wrong, like they do in other Starbucks. One particular member of staff is always lovely but I didn't get his name. He was on shift on 15/10/24 in the morning, really helpful and super friendly

Came into store on Friday night and was greeted straight away by Joanne, it was my first experience at this Starbucks and she made it memorable from the second I walked, helped me with my drink choice and gave me recommendations on some food to go with it. Will definitely be coming back here soon

It took 15 minutes to get three things and they forgot one,and the chairs were comfy but a bit worn out.

I usually come to this Starbucks once or twice a week and the customer service is always absolutely top class. Every staff member is friendly and Joanne, in particular, always remembers me and greets me by name when I enter. The little touches like that definitely make this Starbucks a place that I enjoy returning to.

Ordered a coffee and 5 mins later I'm drinking it, great service, great food, great coffee. Best 10 mins of my life

I frequently visit this Starbucks and I am always pleased with they're outstanding customer service and their speed of service. The atmosphere is lovely and my drink is always made perfectly. Special shout-out to Alannah and Sasha for always going above and beyond to remember my drink order and make friendly conversations every time! I highly recommend!

Always a friendly welcome at the drive-thru here; have been a patron for many years and more recently ventured inside for a sit down... Nice airy space with posh Prostoria Toggle chairs which are good to sink into. Last couple of visits have had to have dine-in coffees in takeout cups owing to broken dishwasher. Come along now 'bucks, get it sorted and get that fifth star! Edit August 4th 2024: We have proper cups! HUZZAH!

Although this is not actually going to be a coffee review, I do visit this starbucks several times a week and have always thought the staff, food, and drinks were fab. However, today they went above and beyond. My car broke down in the drive through and within 30 seconds two wonderful ladies had pulled a car round to jump my car... Unfortunately, that didn't work, so they then pushed my car to a space and made sure I was safe. Absolutely wonderful women! So helpful and kind and collected in a crisis. Now officially my favourite starbucks of all time. Thanks Jodie, Alisha and Seren (I hope I got all those names right). You are honestly legends.

Visit starbucks daily around Cardiff but this has to be the worst branch. Staff are always stressed out, even when it's quiet. No please,thank you and minimal eye contact....basic customer service! I honestly feel like I'm an inconvenience going there. Always seems to be a problem, wrong order, wrong milk, no receipts etc. Nothing is straight forward and easy, which a coffee shop should be. Colleagues refuse to go here anymore and I agree. Poor service from staff.

Chilled atmosphere and a very helpful barista. One of my orders contained a normal and also a decaf. When they arrived none were marked as decaf. When I was overheard, without any fuss she remade both drinks to be sure and brought them over to us. Great customer service.

Waited nearly 1hr for the Starbucks to arrive and when it finally came. The Hot chocolate was cold.

Ordered an almond frapp, an almond latte and a flapjack. Ended up with a coconut latte. This is the third order in a row that has been wrong. Shocking service, someone needs to learn to read. Only order if you want a mystery prize which is worth much less than the cost of the the order placed. Apalling!

This is a lovely place with a really nice atmosphere. It’s peaceful without being dead, and this despite being busy serving drive through as well as walk in customers. The staff are kind, smart and efficient, led by their manager Vicky - who went above and beyond today to help me with some Starbucks items I needed for an amateur production being put on in the locality. Her sense of community spirit, her quick understanding of what was needed, and her ‘can do’ attitude made my day. If you were shopping nearby (and that includes at the massive M and S) you could do yourself a favour by crossing the A48 to this much brighter, more open and altogether more pleasant environment. Give it a try. For myself I am very grateful for the entirely unmerited kindness I received. Thank you.

Culverhouse cross staff are really friendly and helpful. Drinks always done quickly and without fault. Can’t fault staff.

Don’t tend to write reviews but…….. the staff at this branch are absolutely amazing, my 5 year old daughter loves going here, we have a routine every morning (and more through the day) where my daughter orders my coffee as she loves talking to the staff, they are always extremely polite, chatty, and genuinely lovely people. I would mention names but there are too many to write! To all the staff here, thank you and keep up the amazing work :-) KEV ☺️

Really like this Starbucks. I have tried this and the one near Cardiff Marina (Morrisons). This Starbucks has a lovely warm atmosphere. Lots of light. I use this Starbucks to work alone, meet for business and hang out with friends. Service is excellent - I’m a regular and they all know my order and are always warm to welcome me. Highly recommend this Starbucks - definitely my favourite in Cardiff.

I've given 2 ⭐ for food because the item we wanted they'd run out of and this happens quite often, we'd gone in early in the day as well so if they know the item (almond croissant) is a popular item then surely common sense would be to have more in stock... Service was great, the place was clean, tidy and warm, seen as it was a freezing cold day and people were constantly coming and going so the door was open a lot.

Absolute waste of time once again, numerous times I've been here and they don't have what I want and it's boring, walked in and two girls were too busy chatting that worked there, then after I askee about a drink I wanted it's sorry we don't have any cold brews, no iced coffees and no fudge, wow guys just close shop and let another franchise go there that CAN actually provide what we need, seriously just get lost, take your bad customer service and your constant lack of stock and product and your 32 quid cups for sale and bore off, I'm bored to death of this establishment constantly being out of product and unable to provide the public with what they want, and the monotone voice of one of their night of the living dead staff 'We don't have that right now sorry'....its as bad as McDonald's and their ice cream machines, your taking up valuable space in Culver, let Costa go there or a smaller business that will actually have stock and actually care to provide some good service

Last time we'll use this place. Walked in at 10.50am, store very quiet no que at til, orderd for 4 peeps sit in. Didn't get our drinks until 11.03. They were continually prioritising drivethru.......

Slow service inside. Drive thru gets priority. Infestation of fruit flies. Seats are rock solid. Tables never cleaned ready for next customers.

It's ok, the staff are friendly, it's just unfortunate that Starbucks roast is so dark and bitter.

Always get good coffee here and the staff are very friendly. My dog even gets given free pup cups so couldn't recommend more.

Flies on food about a nets full second time in two weeks at this rate we be seeing COVID 19 know this the taking the Mickey they still severing the food that had all flies on it about 10 mins later I think health and safety the answer

terrible experience in culver, was there saturday 4th november around 4pm and had to stand and wait about 15 mins for my drink, i understand if a workplace is busy but when i can see staff members on there phones while people are waiting to be served it’s pretty frustrating i think the name was jon or jim a bald man just stood there on his phone having a laugh while i was right next to him, i’ve been here a few times and never experienced this with the staff members, wont be coming back at all

Not the right order. I ordered starbucks and recieved mcdonalds order. Couldn't contact the store either

Doors weren't working properly, closing back on u, causing us to spill our coffee, as we were sitting outside. Reported the incident, but didt notice anyone approach the doors, no sign put on doors either. The same thing happened to everyone going through the doors. We were there over an hour.

Ordered largest drink size at extra cost but drink came 1/3 empty. Could have bought the smallest size and relieved the same amount of drink. Not too happy. Tasted good but still disappointed.

Pretty standard Starbucks business, can take a while to be served sometimes if there is more than 3 cars. Staff always friendly, however this location only takes card which is the reason for the rating. Every business should still accept cash for goods.

Tables not cleaned. Coffee not the best. At £4 its a definite no from me.

This place is dreadful. Incredibly slow service from teenagers that wont even make eye contact with you. The place is noisy and makes you uncomfortable with no soft surfaces to absorb the background din. I met my sister for a coffee and a catch up, I was there over an hour and the whole time there were dirty cups and plates on the table adjacent to us. Staff dont care, go somewhere else. Anywhere will he better.

Slow is not a strong enough word to explain how slooooow this place is. 20 mins for 4 drinks and we were the only ones in the place. 5 staff no organisation and poor management. Only come here if you have time to waste and nothing better to do with your life!

This used to be the only place I would come for my weekly coffee and cake with my daughter. Today's visit has been awful came into the culverhouse cross Starbucks the customer service was appalling. I ordered 2 drinks 1 being a tea the other a coffee and 2 cakes. I sat down at a dirty table as every table had cups and dirty plates with flies all around the cups. I had to go back up to the collection Point multiple times and ask for an actual cup as i was sitting in i was given takeaway cups,( too lazy to use the dishwasher to clean new cups) I then had to ask for milk for my tea, they also forgot my cake, however when I went back to the till point to be repeatedly ignored i waiting again in the que and saw several flies inside the cake cabinet I asked for my previously paid cake to be refunded. Absolutely filthy dirty and disgusting. I paid over £12 for 2 drinks and 2 cakes and couldn't even enjoy my afternoon with my daughter as I was constantly back and forth having to ask for things that I'd paid for. I Will no longer be using this Starbucks its really gone down hill. Avoid!!!! Understaffed, lack of customer service training and overall disgusting!!

Staff member I dealt with was very rude. Bought 3 frappe's costing just over £15 and they was disgusting. If I had time to turn back and complain I would of. They was like water and the chocolate 1 tasted of powder. Took eternity to make them too and it wasn't what I would call busy

Waited and waited for 3 coffee's with no queue ahead of me. After 10mins 2 of the coffee's were ready. 1 was totally forgotten so waited again for this one. Once this was ready it was not brought to the table where my friends had finished theirs, I was summoned to the counter to collect it with no apology. I will never go there sgain. And I mean NEVER.

Twice in 2 days they have got my order wrong yesterday sent me hot chocolate instead of latee and today send me a cold drink instead of a caramel machiato from the hot drinks menu

This is the best Starbucks I ever been. Plenty of employees, plus they allowed me to use the bathroom for free. I was in a trip, really happy to have found it. 5 stars.

The staff here always rush our orders, when ordering on deliveroo we always have something wrong with our drinks, and we ordered in store once, and received the wrong drinks twice, and on top of that we weren’t given the cookies we had paid for and had to go back to remind them to give it to us ! go to the ones in the city center, lovely staff there :)

Out of the 3 branches I've visited for out of town coffee this Starbuckw has hit the mark. The staff listen to the order and get it right The staff are happy and actually ask about the loyalty card which is a bonus Great staff!!!

Our order was correct and fine, but came without straws. Frappuccino’s are not easy to drink without straws. Very annoying

Very disappointed when I visted 3 weeks ago I was shocked to see that a regular latte was nearly 5 quid and everything else was nearly 8 quid. Absolutely ridiculous don't recommend this place unless you have a bank loan to pay for stuff. Was absolutely ridiculous. But the person that served me was lovely but very disappointed with the rest of it.

Worst Starbucks ever. Bad service, bad experience for multiple times. Asked for a specific drink I wanted without the ice for my personal reason… been told by staff will be “underfilled”. Can’t understand logic and under what terms and condition that is, but fine whatever. I’ve ordered a large and my drink is HALF filled. I won’t class that as underfilled, she might as well just say it’s going to be a half of the cup. Those staff needs to be retrained or I would replace them to be honest. Never had this problem any other Starbucks. And I had to pay £6.15 for a “underfilled” drink. What a service Won’t be going there ever again, never improved each time and only had worst experience each time.

Over priced and depressing decor

Excellent experience at this Starbucks. A lovely lady named Lauren served me and recommended a frap for my granddaughter which she then loved. Customer service was spot on, a credit to the company. Will be visiting again

i ordered a tostie and a coffee the bag come like a puddle the coffee was practically empty the tostie was socking wet worst experience.

Restaurant called me because what I ordered has been discontinued. Why give me the option to order it then? I said please cancel order and their response was "we can't cancel from our end". This restaurant constantly doesn't have stock or advertises items no longer available. Absolutely nuts.

I ordered a white mocha and got a regular mocha.

I had left the house, missed my order and I as then late for work. My housemate has now collected these over an hour late. This is ridiculous and a waste of my money and time. Will never use again

Really poor experience! Ordered Macchiato and a Cinnamon Swirl. Wouldn't warm the swirl slightly for me for "health and safety" reasons. Wouldn't accept cash. And then my Macchiato was a bucket sized mug of Caramel Macchiato which is definitely not what I'd asked for. Pennies short of £8 for the privilege too. Definitely stick to Costa in the future.

Placed an order through Uber, none of the food was delivered, my wife’s white chocolate mocha wasn’t delivered, I ordered a caramel Frappuccino large, this was replaced with a small one and my wife had the same as me 😂, tried to call the restaurant 20 times but no answer, they should of called us to tell us they had none of what we ordered so we could of cancelled this order and ordered from somewhere else as we are still hungry, shocking customer service, avoid this place
