Basic little cafe serving teas, coffee, cakes, sandwiches etc. Situated in the car park of a stunning stretch of the Heritage Coast. A beautiful place to stop for a cuppa. However I found the man who served me to be very brusque and bordering on unfriendly. Its a shame because a smile costs nothing and makes for a much nicer experience.

We visited the Nash Point Lighthouse on our UK trip and on parking the car had to pay the fee at this cafe. What a find. We had a cup of tea on arrival, but then the smell of the freshly cooking bacon made us come back for lunch. This small clifftop cafe is super with excellent sandwiches & rolls and snacks. The tea & coffee was hot & delicious along with our piping hot bacon sandwiches which we ate in the cafe. There is also an outside bench available. The clean toilets were very handy just behind the cafe. We paid for our lunch with our contactless debit card. We would highly recommend this friendly and welcoming cafe.

We paid our £3 for parking and enjoyed coffee from here as we walked over to the lighthouses. The toilets here were clean and tidy too. A useful place to get a drink and/or snacks.

When we walked in, (I assume it was the owner) was complaining to two people about a customer "who wouldn't go away". On the basis that we were the only people in there (on a Saturday in July) that was a bit of a surprise. My wife then asked for a cheese salad roll, well that was the wrong thing to do. "Do you only want one!" was the question. "No" said I, "I would like a bacon roll too please". The owners reaction was to roll his eyes, sniff and set about it. Any thoughts of tea, ice cream or anything left both my wife and I in an instance. The food was of the quality I would expect from a dump like this. As she said "Well it filled a hole but I wouldn't want it again."

This is not a 5 star cafe, but it is a 5 star experience, situated on the cliff top with plenty of parking space. This visit was in February and we were pleased to find the cafe open with the usual friendly service. You can order tea or coffee which is made to suit your taste - 5 star, or soft drinks, and a slice or wedge of delicious homemade cake. Enjoy inside, which is small & cosy; take it back to your car, or sit outside. Wherever you choose, the view over the cliffs and the Bristol Channel is uplifting. Go for a walk to the lighthouse, or along the clifftops, or down to the beach, come back and enjoy another beverage.

Took the dog down to Monknask and found that the cafe had changed hands. Wonderful and clean and the view on the benches outside is great. Pop in and have a tea and a cake, it's small and nice, there are toilets there which are clean and looked after. Big thumbs up.

This could be such a great little stop—beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, and plenty of potential. Unfortunately, the experience was soured a bit by the café owners, who seemed to have a very strong stance against dogs and, honestly, not much warmth toward people either. We were met with frosty stares and the kind of energy you’d expect if we’d marched in wearing muddy boots and shouting—when all we did was smile and bring a well-behaved dog. It felt less like a café and more like we’d wandered into a private club where happiness is frowned upon. It’s such a shame, because the spot itself is lovely and could be a real gem with a bit more friendliness (and maybe a treat or two for the pups). Here’s hoping they warm up in future—both to customers and the idea that dogs aren’t the enemy.

I brought my parents here with my Dad being in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was warm from the second we opened the door and the beautiful decor showed the care and attention that we would see in the service and food preparation. I had a pork dish and my parents indulged with two different types of burgers with an artisanal bread starter. The food was a delight, the treat we set out to have. This warm and welcoming business is definitely on our go to list in future.

A really impressive and unexpected find, the food was proper gastro quality, made with care and skill and inexpensive. We had a roast pork for £16 and a buttermilk chicken burger for £14 (I think). Quality ingredients, generous portions, cannot fault and I always find improvements! Good chilled soundtrack and coffee too. Will defo be back!

The car parking is so poorly signposted and convoluted as if it is deliberately meant to confuse. From the Llantwit Major side you are forced through a 3GBP charged section with no advance signage and no turnaround facility.
