A thoroughly wonderful delight, the food was really good too.

Food is spot on had a bit of a barney over pricing.But good food.

Lovely chicken curry just as I remember from the Athena and loads of curry sauce yum. My husband enjoyed his pie and chips too.

Kebab was lovely, chips were elite, pizza wasn’t great, the dough and pepperoni wasn’t cooked long enough so that was a bit disappointing. Food was late but received a free bottle of Pepsi with the order and the female delivery driver was lovely and apologetic.

Not sure if ordered salad on kebab , but it was on there and had to scrap it off as grandson doesn’t like salad

Worst fish and chips o have ever had. The fish was swimming in grease and was dry and overcooked. Chips were just awful. Never again. Went in the bin.

Kebab with cheese, absolutely delicious!

sadly ready soggy and mushy fish and chips. ended up throwing the meal away. the Savoy was rock hard, so most likely been sat under a heated lamp all day. really gutted

I always order food for the family from here. Cleanliness is spot on. Delicious, fresh, hot and flavorful food. Very affordable prices in comparison with competitors. The owner and his family always help the community and offer a high standard of service to all customers. Cannot recommend enough and wouldn't go anywhere else for chips, pizza or kebab. You can definitely taste the quality and care.

Unfortunately I had a large chips and large curry. I be honest chips were disgusting, cold and stale , seemed reheated. Nadeem please sort out your staff. I know it was 10pm on a Monday night but definitely not up to your standard.

very little fish, did not taste of cod, was swimming in grease. chips were tasteless. First time ordering and will not ever order again Very Disappointing and disgusting. Sorry but swimming in fat and very Lillie fish with a weird taste was not at all nice. I hope it was just a one off as far as quality etc goes . I would advise people to find out for themselves. This is just my personal experience.

An absolute gem of a takeaway, food and delivery are always spot on.

Gravy was a little thick. Other than that, everything was tasty and well cooked.

the food was alright, it wasn't bad nor good. I still managed to eat a few bits. I wasn't sure if it tasted different or that they were a bit cold, but where I am is a bit far from the place so was expected. Delivery driver was very nice and sweet

The fish was OK but the chips were horrible they had all black bits on them and tasted like they were yesterday's

Highly recommend they never disappoint

The food it's self was just about warm the fish was quite bland and the batter extremely thin also bland even the pineapple wasn't coated in batter properly and there wasn't enough batter of it to actually of got stuck to the paper .I'm not sure what's changed in the last 6 months or so but the quality has definitely not what it used to be .The food itself especially the fish is no where near as full flavored and the portions a lot smaller than they were in previous months I'm assuming it changed owners or something cos it just ain't the higher quality of before

What a fab chippy! I bought a large chips and it can definitely feed 2, probably 3 people... It was huge! The cod was amazing and just fell apart. They listened to my request to have the fish wrapped separately (which never seems to happen anymore with online orders) so was very happy. All food was piping hot and the delivery driver was very polite and friendly. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Absolutely disgraceful, could not get the fish out of the paper as it just deteriorated, chips were greasy and lacked taste and a thoroughly disappointing meal. Very sad, have had a few nice meals from here but sadly will not be returning.

Worst pizza I've ever ordered. The ham on the Hawaiian is completely gone off/rotten and stinks. The other pizza was barely cooked. Both inedible and disgusting. Have asked for a refund

My partner enjoyed his kebab but I ordered tuna pizza and can honestly say it was very unpleasant. I’m not sure what type of tuna they use but it was not like other places I’ve ordered from. As a result it went in the bin. Would not order again.

I recommend Athena The food was delicious as usual my only issue on this order was a simple mistake the were extras missing just the drinks and cookies that in all fairness I don't usually order but they sorted it out hassle free I've ordered from them many times before always have a great friendly service and it will not put me off ordering again

My husband had a beautiful meal of cod and chips. My half pound cheeseburger and the bun were so chargrilled that it was inedible. I called to tell them and they sent another meal within a short time. Unfortunately it was exactly the same, it was black and smelled burnt and I couldn’t eat it. It doesn’t say “chargrilled” or “blackened” on the menu and to me it was burned to a cinder. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Food was a big step up from what it used to be but kebabs need to be better quality. Food was late however.

Lovely service, beautiful food as always. First time ordering delivery but a walk in customer since I can remember. It arrived earlier, was hot and the fresh lemon was so flavoursome.

Always order from here now if we want chips. Great service, great food, great portions. Only thing was potato fritter was a bit hard but otherwise lovely. Yes they were running a bit late this time, but great communication and phoned to let us know. Thanks guys 😊

Chips were lovely, my fish I ordered was ok, the batter wasn’t very crispy. The tartar sauce I ordered was missing. Husband enjoyed the kebab, ordered the large and it was huge.

Bought fish cake not that much to it asked for salt and vinegar but hardly no vinegar large chips as well asked for salt and vinegar plenty of salt but not a nuff vinegar and a chicken with no salt and vinegar its the same with a jumbo batted sausage i asked for no salt and vinegar on jumbo batted sausage not that in pressed all came to £15 pounds would of expected better from this chippy not happy had better
