Food was cold 🥶 and waited nearly 2hours will not go there NO more

Ordered a large bag of chips and small sausage. Half of the sausage was burnt and inedible then the chips just tasted and even smelled rancid like the oil hasn't been changed or something. I'm not a fussy person and will try anywhere and eat anything but it literally made me heave trying it. Would not recommend.

Just had food from here I had a large kebab which is the biggest they do enough for a small child my partner had sausage and chips the chips are raw realy white with a crunch will not be using this place again

Totally ruined our food chips were absolutely disgusting frozen chips from a chip shop and some not cooked

This place has new owners the food is dreadful, I was charged £8 for a small Kebab??? I got home no pitta bread inside. I thought I’d give it one more try this week, I ordered pickup and went to collect after 30mins, it wasn’t ready they said they would deliver, over an hour later it turned up cold, items missing, chips had small black bits all over them (must use old oil) curry sauce really watery it was terrible. Always used these in the past the food has been nice please avoid.

Excellent food I would suggest this restraunt for those who like to eat non-veg that is unbeatable

Bestest restaurant in barry for kababs and chips.

Used regularly, but last time called 3 times to chase delivery, at 1 hour and 20 minutes I got a text saying order was cancelled, no apology, nothing, so that's me done, plenty to choose from. It's a shame when businesses treat loyal customers like this !

Food is disgusting do not order

We've gone here for years, always raved about it to people. Just bought a large fish and chips for pickup and after seeing it, it definitely is not a large portion. If it is, I would hate to see what they call a normal portion. Phoned up to say they had made a mistake and was told, "no, that is the large portion, buddy. It's just in a smaller box." It was a small chips and a badly cooked average piece of fish. Lost a family of customers as it isn't the first disappointment of recent months. It seems to have had new owners. Shame.

The "large" cod is getting smaller every week.. And the price has gone up!

Called to order food to a large work site which orders regularly from Smart Kebab so they know who we are. But because of another order being placed by other workers on the site they demanded we pay over the phone as they suspected we were a fake order! We are a team all paying cash as we always have done. We will no longer order from here. I'd completely understand if we were new customers but we our site has been customers for many years!

They messed up my order and wouldnt annswere the phone to give me my right order took my money and gave me wrong order THEIFS!!!!

Smart House was always reliable and delivered on time. The past few times we’ve ordered food it’s taken almost 2hrs to arrive and that’s after call them every 15 mins to ensure that they’d even cooked our food. They fob you off each time. This time unfortunately they didn’t deliver after 2hrs, took our money over the phone and hung up on us each time we called them.

Gone seriously downhill since new owners took over. Spent more time perving over a young girl than serving. Don't seem to actually make a kebab any more either. I had to empty my container, cut the bread open and fill it before I could eat it. Maybe they should offer discount for this as I never really fancied working in a kebab shop!

Been going here for over a year. I think it's under new management. Last two visits Food very poor. Cod in batter cooked in over heated oil. Tasted horrible.chips never hot. Won't be going there again sorry.

We order from here every few weeks and normally it's very good with the food cooked well and delivered hot but the last few times have been very poor. This time the sausages were very undercooked and still raw in the middle. They also got two of the drinks wrong and missed one completely.

Avoid this place. Just went here and was told that sausage in batter would be done fresh then watched them refry already made sausage in batter which I thought was odd but thought just needs a bit of warming up. got home to find I could have thrown them against the wall and make a dent, they must have refrying 3 hour old fried food. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND COULD POSSIBLY MAKE A PERSON ILL SO I GUESS THEY HAVE NO FOOD OR COOKING SKILLS

This is the second time Ive ordered pizzas from here and both times its given me and my family a dodgy stomach through gone off toppings

Firstly, the language barrier is pretty shocking, last 2 orderes have been wrong, when I ring to explain they don't understand, delivery took and hour and 40 minutes and food was freezing.

Worst place ever do not recommend to anyone avoid at all costs and late with cold food what a waist of money they are gona give uber eats a bad name don't waist ya money on this place food is rank

Ordered from here for the first time and the kebab is hands down the absolute worst thing that has ever graced my taste buds!! The kebab was absolutely smothered (and i mean drowned) in the most vilest watery garlic mayo (if you can even call it mayo ) that ive ever tasted. The kebab meat wasnt even the slightest bit nice. If you want a decent kebab go to the north west!! Dont usually leave a review even if its bad but this was that bad i had to 🤣

Food was cold and I will not be ordering from there again the delivery driver was absolutely rude telling me that all of the customers give him notes and never got change absolutely disgusting the attituded he gave me definitely won't be ordering again

Daughter ordered 2 16 inch .pizzas got order wrong. Chips Were NOT FRESH had too come back with donnar meat

Ordered for the first time tonight delivery was quick and the food was lovely really tasty burgers will definitely be ordering again

placed an order online rang to confirm delivery time was told 10 15-minutes 40 minutes later rang to see where order was . Told " oh have you not had it? It's with a driver that doesn't know the area be there in 5 mins" 20 minutes later rang to check on delivery still not arrived. Was told it was out for delivery. I said that it would be cold by now and told them to cancel order was offered £2 discount by now didn't want it. 20 minutes later after I had cooked some tea guess what it arrived!!! Will never use them again absolutely disgraceful.

Super fast delivery withing 20 minutes the food is excellent for the price. The chips are chip shop chips which is great. Just to clarify a previous review from someone you can order a SIDE of chips they are called regular or large chips.

No way of ordering a side of chips on their website, weird, going elsewhere

Ordered food turned up on time only problems are half pound burgers with doner meat don’t actually contain any burgers half pound or even quarter pound waste of space don’t order burgers! I know it’s vaganuary but come on if you order burger you would actually expect a burger in your bun!!! Useless!!!

Really tasty food and friendly staff we ordered a mix kebab meat and chips, fish and chips and chicken strips with chips. This is the only takeaway in the area that serves chicken tikka with there mixed kebabs.

Best take away ever. Food is always amazing.

So me and my friend living in the Knapp Barry, looked online for a good kebab house. Saw this with 5 star reviews.. called them, ordered 2 lamb shish kebabs .. sides.. our delivery came and it was doner kebab. Called them as they got our order wrong .. to which they replied they only do doner kebabs, which they didn’t say when we ordered and put the phone down on me. Absolutely appalling way to run a business! And might I add the food was dry and unedible! Stay away from these rude idiots! Being a business woman myself this is appalling!

Since the new owners took over me n my family have had most things on the menu kebab..burger..pizza .... fish n a few side orders.... the food here is beautiful always fresh and hot.. I strongly recommend
