The best restaurants in The Vale of Glamorgan South East

This used to be our go to Chinese... Atleast weekly... for over a year! NEVER EVER AGAIN ordered our usual including a chicken curry. What arrived can only be explained as a broth of curry coloured water, a few mushrooms, few carrots and a cube of chicken. Phoned to say wasn't happy (have never had to complain before) and was told they were happy with what they had sent out. We sent a video of the pot that was sent and even the lady on the phone (Rachael) said "oh christ that's awful" and said she would speak to the manager/chef. She spoke to them and their response was "tough, not sending anymore out and you must have eaten the chicken"!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service, even the lady on the phone was embarrassed at how awful they were, said they have had lots of complaints recently. Only good thing going for them was Rachael who was the poor middleman dealing with this. Never ever thought I'd post this but AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! Food not always hot , not even warm. Was quite disappointed ☹️

I’m a photographer and I was looking for a restaurant/Café with nice outdoor seating so I could do a quick branding session for an event planner. I just needed to take some photos of her working at the table and they were gracious enough to let me use the outdoor area while it was slow and rearrange the chairs and table how I wanted. Very nice staff and the restaurant and food was delicious. Not to mention it’s in a very nice area of Staten Island and it’s right on the beach so after you have your meal, you could take a walk on the beach.

Wasn't what I order. Ordered mixed got chicken. Ordered 7up cherry got Pepsi max cherry. Quality wasn't great either

My cheese burger and fries might aswell have been sat in a fridge and there’s not one sauce either

I came here on vacation as it was recommended to me, and it was a wonderful experience! Staff was so lovely, and food was a great hit with the group! There’s something for everyone to enjoy

Amazing food, lovely staff, great service. I go here almost everyday. Would be every day if they never closed on Wednesdays lol. Highly recommend.

I eat at M&M kebabs in Penarth at least once a week, The food is awesome, the pickled peppers are great and it is always very clean.

The bread wasn’t fresh and was hard and falling apart. The ice cream was melted.

ordered a take away from here did no enjoy and pricey pretty tasteless infact was the only chinese take away open on that night the only thing in this area all chinese takeaways close on the same night

Another amazing breakfast at the Walston Castle today, Faith took great care of our order making sure we had everything we needed and paying attention to our grandchildren. Praise also to Luke in the kitchen who made the best poached eggs ever. Thanks to a great team 👍🏻
