Carlos Pizza in The Vale of Glamorgan

Delivery on app was at 45mins. After 50mins I rang the shop to check how long the food would be, I was told it had just left the shop (clearly a lie unless the delivery service walk it around barry) 25 mins after phoning the food turned up which in my opinion is unacceptable. 70mins waiting for Pizza that I was told would be 45mins!! Pizza is decent, chips overpriced.

Pizza isn’t the size you order, it’s a smaller version. The way it’s delivered also makes it the pizza…not a pizza. It gets completely ruined and ends up unable to eat tidy. Chips weren’t cooked through which is shocking considering the price. Small portions. Not what it used to be. Go somewhere else.

Order the 12" large pizza. The actual pizza was no larger than 11". Complete misrepresentation.

I never ordered from here before but my brother does alot, so i wanted to try it, i liked the calzone and the fries with chicken nuggets, thats what i ordered, pretty great just oily like your regular pizza place, not my favourite but thats probably my fault for ordering pizza lol. But the cake was slightly disappointing as it was more of a gateau instead of a cake, the service was amazing though it came 45 minutes before the delivery time !! Overall it was alright.

Best kebab I’ve had, not your typical oily kebab that you regret eating afterwards. Garlic bread was superb! Lamb burger was so tasty and buns were warm soft fresh and not heavy. Even chips were different to your usual fast food place. Exceeded my expectations

Driver messaged to say he couldn't find me , so I had to phone Carlos pizza for them to pass message through. Surely he could've used Google maps but he then phoned me himself and I ended up directing him. Chips lost heat but kebab was perfect. I know Carlos pizza is fantastic it's the delivery driver who got lost. Updates were good though. 👍

I visited this place a few weeks ago after meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen for ages. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they were amazing. The food on the other hand was out of this world. Spicy delight kebab I ordered and I had a quick taxi home opened it and wow! So fresh and tasty 😋. Been a regular customer for so many years until pandemic and then I also had to watch money. I so enjoyed the last kebab from a few weeks ago I ordered through just eat and yep, fantastic again and the chips are lush 😋. Thank u Carlos u never let me down, my absolute go to place for weekend comfort food ❤️ Thank you 😊

£3.80 for a handful of chips. Wouldn’t recommend ordering them. Quality of food is not as good as it used to be.

The food was fresh, very tasty and filled our bellies lovely. The £30 ×2xl pizza plus sides meal deal was brilliant and was more than enough for a hungry family of four. Great value. Best take away we have had in a long time and arrived early. Thank you to the staff. We will definitely buy again

Asked me to review my order before I'd even received it,because app said it had been delivered.....hmmmm,rang them and was told driver would be with me any minute...he wasn't.food will probably be nice though! 😆

I ordered the calzone meal deal and it didn’t give option to choose which one, I stupidly presumed it would be cheese and tomato but it had pepperoni, chicken etc in it, not what I wanted, but there should be the option to choose as you can choose your drink

Chicken nuggets over cooked rubbery,kebab meat cold, phoned to replace food chicken nuggets were better but didn’t eat them because we bought something else due to my son was hungry and upset

Always amazing food never disappointed

Food is poor rather low standard. The kebab meat was very pale looked bearly cooked. The idea of a large kebab is a joke for the price. My other half said he burger was nice though. Overall I won't be using Carlos again

My go too for a kebab! Tasty kebabs, they don’t have that spicy twang to them, they taste fresh! And their homemade garlic mayo is stunning!!

Usually good. Usually tasty. Usually hot. Usually fast. Tonight they accept an order then cancel 20+ minutes later. I can't do that as a customer but you can as a restaurant? Rang to ask why. No answer. Disappointed guys. Spend lots with you. Deserve better.

I order from here once a week. Always amazing. Fantastic friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile. Really tasty food and at a great price. Cannot recommend Carlos highly enough!

Zero stars. Two hours for delivery, lied to when chasing order three times on the phone, rude delivery driver, food was cold, soggy and cold food placed on top of pizza meant the lid stuck to the pizza and cold. Food was inedible and completely unacceptable. Stay clear.

The kebab meat was dry, and not very nice at all. Salad was lovely and a generous size, chips were average and on the whole wasn't great. A shame, but there are much better kebab shops in Barry so don't bother with Carlos for kebabs.

Unfortunately the large kebab was a medium and we asked for no cucumber and it was delivered with cucumber. There wasn't much salad with the kebab. A little disappointed as usually the order from Carlos is so good.

No problems with delivery, food quality was poor. I ordered kebab and chips which came luke warm. Some meat was undercooked, they literally put about 15 chips in the bottom of the tray. Cheesy garlic bread was not nice at all. It was made like a calzone. Would not order from here again.

The Kebab was cold with too much salad. The three bottles of water I ordered were missing. The delivery woman was charmless.

Ordered my food, cake quick but was wrong, I explained in the phone that was wrong and he said I was wrong! He then said he would bring me a new kebab but wanted other one back which was not a problem but when new one arrived half hour later there was hardly any meat init and didn’t give me a fresh order of chips which by now the ones I had from my first order were cold!

I have had food from here on numerous occasions and it has always been great and offers excellent value for money.

No option of ordering any dip, pizza did not come with dip. Not the best pizza in the world, asked driver to call when I was outside as I was in an air bnb and found the driver stood outside almost knocking on the owners front door when I asked them to call me 🙈

Terrible value for money , chicken burger is just a frozen burger you can get from any supermarket, layered in sauce! Garlic bread dripping with grease , chips like cardboard and woke up in morning feeling really sick in morning, can only wish my toilet had a revolving door

Ordered at 20.37, arrived at 22.14, was advised 21.20 to 21.40 arrival time Not the usual service we normally receive from the team at Carlos. Gonna chalk this off as a bad day for them

Large kebabs ordered, small portions arrived cold due to the amount of coleslaw and sauce, and the scarce meat seemed barely cooked. Last order from us.

Pizza was definately not fresh, hard chewy and Luke warm considering it arrived in speedy time! Disappointed as we order from here often!!!! :(

Hi, I’ll be honest I ALWAYS get food from this take away, and it’s usually pretty good, I ordered a calzone yesterday and it was cold and didn’t taste great or fresh i binned it after 1 slice and the cheesy chips I ordered were cold and looked like it had been sitting for a long time as I pulled up 1 chip the whole portion lifted off the container… so I put them straight in the bin. As I said previously it’s usually great service and food, I am one of their regular customers but really disappointed with what I received yesterday

Everything was too cold to eat.

The place has been running for many years, used to be good, but the new remit of staff don't understand what makes good customer service and decent food.

Delivery was very quick but there couldve been more tipping for my money. £1 for extra 3 small pieces of meat. Not good enough sorry.
