Family Pizza & Kebab in The Vale of Glamorgan

I bought my hubby a kebab & also popcorn chicken & it have made him ill, he have not been able to leave the toilet. Bought the popcorn chicken for our macaw bird & she have been ill as well. Will never buy from there again.

Absolutely fuming with this ordered a calzone this is not it cheese melted in microwave chewy and over all appalling will be reporting to health and safety absolutely disgusting

Ordered food via vale of Glamorgan eats last night and was advertised as burger queen and found out the place does not exist. Me and my gf were slightly disappointed with the food. My GFS burger was burnt on the edges and the chips were slightly rubbery to chew on.

Foods great but they seem to just make up the prices on the spot Terrible attitude and half portions

I ordered a kebab but when I was about to eat it I found mold on the donner meat

Since the new owners the food has gotten even nicer.

The person on the phone proper attitude wants to charge£21 for 2 chicken curry half an half what a ripe off cost about £10 to make more than these 2 boycott them his attitude is disgusting hope they are closed soon

Late, Cold, wrong and way overpriced. Delivery heavily delayed (we were informed after ordering) food arrived tepid at best. 2 x chips and cheese arrived as just plain chips and they were soggy. Advertised as new restaurant on just eat so thought we would give it a go. When we contacted the restaurant about incorrect items they did send out corrections and as already said they did inform of delay in plenty of time so can’t really mark them down on that front mistakes happen, however, the food itself was overall bland cold and poor especially considering the price. Disappointed

A good deal and lots to eat with decent hygeine

Ordered kebabs Saturday night, first time order. No bread, sauce and very small amount of veg. Essentially just dry meat and chips. Turned up late so cold and when complained we were told we could have discount on next order. Why would you get kicked in the nutts and go back for more!!! They are in good company ordered a Mackie Ds last week and we only received the bun but they were genuinely apologetic. Well done team, really look after your customers (Family Kebab), I wonder if the family got hungry and ate half our food

Had a great 12 inch pepperoni pizza, portion of chips and a portion of onion rings. Fed 3 of us for £13. All cooked fresh to order, lovely soft pizza base with plenty of topping. Friendly service, with seating while you wait.

It was the first time ordering takeaway from Family Pizza & Kebab and have to say for the price what we received was fantastic. Fantastic service from ordering over the phone to the delivery driver arriving at the requested time. Food was top quality and tasty. We were very happy and will use again. Highly recommended.

We had 2 medium pizzas, chips, 2 cans and 2 dips. We pre-ordered the food and the business rang to check the timing was correct. Food arrived on time, piping hot, fresh and delicious. Wonderful customer service and food! Will definitely order from here again.

This establishment is under née management and previous reviews are completely irrelevant. First order under new owners was 30 minutes late, the chips were soggy and inedible and the chicken kebab was not marinated and just tasteless dry bits of chicken. I have ordered from here for years, but will never do so again. Appalling food and Appalling service. Really disappointed that I have to find a new kebab house in Barry. Bring back the Bosphorus

Took a punt on this place yesterday and to be honest, wasn’t holding out much hope. However, we were absolutely thrilled at how hot and tasty our kebabs were. We both had a large chicken shish, all breast meat as advertised on a fresh pitta with delicious chilli sauce. The salad was exceptional. Not a bit of limp lettuce in sight. It was served at the side of the kebab which kept it cold and crispy. There was red cabbage on the top of fresh tomatoes and cucumber over crunchy iceberg and slice onions. Also seemed to have a lovely salad dressing over it. Well done, keep it up and will be ordering again 👍🏻

It was so nice and delicious 😋 We would buy more from this restaurant but we live in Birmingham unfortunately.

Have normally been fairly happy with this place but today I ordered 2 kids meals as a treat for my kids and got 1 drink and 1 lolly.. Try telling them they need to share 🙄

I have used Family as our favourite choice for many years. Not any more. Yesterday I ordered 4 kebabs and 4 fries and onion rings, when it arrived it was missing a mix shish kebab (£11). I immediately called but was told “I sent it lady”, I said I did not have it and was repeatedly told “I sent it”. I am not a liar. I have had many orders missing little things but a meal at £11 I could not ignore. He said “leave it with me”. Needless to say nothing arrived. I am extremely disappointed by the response but not surprised. I have been in the shop when he has dealt with a disgruntled customer on the phone and it was very unprofessional. I am sad because I enjoy the food, it’s not the cheapest but nice. I think a customer service course or people skills course may improve this business. I suggest if your ordering you should pick it up, otherwise you may not get all of your order.

I've always had a great experience with this shop. I get the same mixed shish everytime, which is well worth the extra money. Nice and quick for collection and they remember my order when I phone up. Keep it up

Not really one to leave a review but they guy put chilli on my meal, I said no chilli and he basically forces me away with the meal talking himself out of it, said I'd be back if it isn't nice, laughed with his collueges and said come back tomorrow. I promised you a review so here it is, can tell someone new has taken over.

Food is always good and it's alway hot when it gets delivered staff are alway friendly.

Couldn't take an order over the phone and I even had to tell the girl how much each item was, including the total, which was wrong when the order eventually turned up. Had food missing, which we're still waiting on!!
