I ordered from this takeaway and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was undercooked, tasted terrible, and was ridiculously overpriced for what we got. On top of that, the service was awful — nobody answered the phone when I tried to contact them. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place!

Oven & Grill had been recommended by the Air B&B host and it didn’t disappoint. Web site easy to use and chose what you want. Service was very quick and friendly. Food was scrum and plenty of it. So definitely worth it going from our experience

Fresh and tasty kebabs with a variety of salad, sauces and breads to accompany. Had pizzas and chip’s previously. Would recommend for a quick and easy takeaway. Staff always very friendly!

The food is exceptionally fresh and delicious for the price, complemented by warm and professional service that's rare for a fast casual setting. Kebabs on fresh naan and falafel are highly recommended.

I mean the food is lovely it's just the sources barbecue sauce taste like chili, garlic sauce taste like butter, mince sauce just tastes like lemon juice, and the chilli sauce taste like pepper, just need to fix the sources and that's it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is spectacular!! My only complaint was I ate too much because it was soo much food and soo good.

Went to walk inside and was told to order through the window , I thought COVID was back again, ordered food they got my name wrong which I wasn't too bothered about. Food came with tomatoes which I didn't ask for and NO mint sauce that I did ask for. Food was average if I'm being generous, it said it came with a nan bread which was more like a wrap and the chicken was dry. Young girls working on the till, not paying attention to the orders that they are taking. Will not be returning as much better kebab shop closer.

Travelled 30 minutes to try this place as been told really good things, was disappointed on the amount of meat you recieved ordered chicken shish and lamb donner and recieved chicken shish and beef steak by the look and texture as there was no flavour... disappointed with the amount of meat for the money but plenty of chips and salad. Wouldn't go back personally

Great business and the food is excellent freshly prepared excellent fresh ingredients, the serving staff are young and extremely courteous and efficient and well trained by the owner - a credit to the them and the area

It's a little expensive compared to other kebab shops in the county and I'm not too fond of the idea of ordering at the window and waiting outside, but...the food tastes so good! It's just too tasty not to come back again and again. Definitely the best kebab I've ever tasted.

Placed my order before the closing time and drove straight up to collect it just to check my phone for it to say it has been declined before the closing time not very professional

Tried this place for the first time tonight from a colleagues recommendation. We had the meat box for 2 people which all I can say is that it was enough food for 4. The meat box was impressive and did not disappoint it cost just over £30 which was great value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame they do not do a delivery service

Got order wrong. Phoned them qhen I got in. Only resolution they gave was to go back in but I didn't want to drive back. Very unhappy. Lost a customer.

Got order wrong. Kebabs were cold and tasted awful. Called them when I got in and saw missing item. No offer to resolve it other than to go back and collect missing item which I couldn't do. Poor customer service. Lost a customer. Avoid.

Had food last night. Cold chicken tuff, small portion, worst of all kids serving food with hair not tied back. Standards dropping. Won't go again

Not sure what happened there tonight but the food was dreadful, the bread on the kebabs was great for frizbee, the meat was full of fat and chewy and the salad wasnt chopped so it was like having an ice berg lettuce on your plate ... very poor

Would have given 5 stars across the board. Have been a loyal customer here for years before they were even called grill and oven. The food always was outstanding ! I have recommended this place to all my friends and family as it was that good. I dont know how to explain, but its not like it used to be. Perhaps covid had an effect on it? Now they still serve through a window and you don't get the connection you used to do with the artisans preparing your food. Mistakes happen all to often now (personally I think its due to them having a turnover of younger employees) and I find my self having to check my order everytime and quite often have to return something for kissing salad or sauce. That being said, I still go back, when its good its brilliant and I enjoy it! They seem to have grown in popularity so much that the quality suffers when they have a very busy night (Friday and Saturday) which is typically when we go. Please try them, they are one of the best kebab shops I've ever tried by a long way. If you don't have a perfect experience first time, bear with them and I'm sure it will be better next time.

Food was banging, only thing was took forever to be delivered. Wings were lush but cold😟 wrap was lush but all salad wilted where it took around hour and a half to be delivered lovely food but wait times don’t compensate unfortunately

So, I like a kebab once in a while and I've been looking for a local one that satisfies my need and wants. Been to a couple on Barry Town but not up to much. A friend at work recommended Grill & Oven so I thought why not? Absolutely lovely! Got it, came home and smashed the lot, really gorgeous kofta kebab. Will deffo be trying all the other items on offer - burgers, pizzas etc but will certainly be going back for more kofta! Thanks guys and keep up the tasty work.

Drove all the way to from Ely Cardiff to here to collect my food got it home and one order was wrong. Disappointed wanted proof of order to be able to justify

This was the worst kebap I have ever eaten.cold and tasteless. Never again complete waste of money.

We decided to give grill and oven in dinas á second chance after screwing up our order. I called beforehand to ask what the waiting time was. We were told 20 minutes. After arriving there we waiting in January in the freezing cold for another 32 minutes. When we asked what was taking so long they said that they were very busy. Don't get me wrong its á popular place. We finally got our food drove straight home and the order was wrong again. The kebabs taste great but the wait is ridiculous and they just can't seem to get the order right. Ordered 7 times from them now last 3 times was an incorrect order. Given up now.

I'll give 5 stars as the kebabs are amazing best we've ever had, regular customers but I have to say the bread is awful. We never eat it, few times ive left it as it comes in the paper for a few hours and it goes rock hard. It reminds me on homemade play dough when you accidentally lick a salty finger 😂 you really need to find a better bread recipe you are wasting time and money I asked a few people I know who are customers also and not 1 of them eats the bread. Just wanted to give advice as the kebabs are amazing just let down by the salty doughy bread!

Food ordered at 8:14pm, picked up and back in the house by 8:30pm, food was stone cold. Very disappointed

The kebab was it's usual high standard which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. The same cannot really be said for the chicken burger which came as a breaded processed patty completely devoid of any flavour. I had ordered a meal with 8 Oz option. The fries were very good but I could only take a one bite of one of the patties. The dog had the other. Given the high standard of the kebabs I was surprised & disappointed by the chicken burger.

You won't get better anywhere else

Cold terrible only drove 3 miles home by the time I got it home I opened and the meat was cold and the bread like rubber and also cold if it had been hot it could have tasted ok! But I’ll never know wouldn’t buy again.

I was in the area from Bristol, got to say best kebab I've ever had along with the chips. I have a dairy allergy and as soon as I highlighted this the owner came straight over and let me know what had dairy in. The lady on the till even spelt my name correctly without even asking which never happens 😁 great place if I come back to the area I'll definitely be in there again 😊

Just went to order food at the window of the grill oven, Window was opened to loud music coming from the shop. The young girl asked for my order which I gave THREE times because she couldn't hear me. She looked completely confused at a simple order of kebab meat and chips.She looked at the till then AGAIN asked me what my order was. Completely disgusting customer service they all to busy in there listening to loud music and not interested in customers.

Stunning food in this takeaway but they are very busy taking online and phone orders aswell as in person orders. I was a bit upset on my last visit as people ordered after me and got their food before me even though they ordered the same meal, the girl behind the counter didn't stop playing with her hair neither. The food is too good to be let down by silly little things.

Have literally just ordered food online and paid for it as the business is showing as open. Arrived to collect food and it’s not open doesn’t look like it ha been at all today. However it’s processed the payment and taken the money.

My new favourite take away. I didn't order from here for over a year as I assumed it was expensive and average. How wrong was I. This is absolutely the best food ever. Sounds like an. Exaggeration I know but the food is amazing and the service is efficient and friendly. The chef's don't take any messing, which is always a good sign. I can't recommend it enough. Salty, beautifully cooked, high quality, tasty, fantastic perpetration. Really 5 star.

well stumbled across this place after a recommendation from my daughter, we ordered a mixture of meals from burgers to mixed meats on chips and mixed shish and all reasonably priced. all food was hot and tasty and collection was not an issue but maybe at busy times you may have to wait a bit, will be back to try other stuff on menu. also do pizza, curries, and kids meals etc.

Amazing food, we had this Saturday night and it was stunning. Lots of taste, choice and flavours. Will definitely be going back again. If there was a negative, I would ask for the salad to be separated as it did bring the temperature of the food down slightly. Great place

Always freshly cooked and good sized portions! Have especially enjoyed salmon with rice & chips half'n'half and also chicken tikka kebab with salad and chips. Always a winner with me!

We went in to the shop to ask as to whether or not they serve pork at all and were assured they had no pork in the shop. They lied, apparently it is only for the pizza toppings which was not explained at the time. In other words yes they do have pork in store. My family eat pork so I was happy not to eat from the store and tried to order via phone to no avail. We went to the store and were told our order would take 20 minutes. Forty minutes later we received one burger less than we had ordered and paid for and the doner wrap was on a plate. Shocking, shocking, shocking! We will not ever be back.
