Choices Chinese Takeaway in The Vale of Glamorgan

This used to be our go to Chinese... Atleast weekly... for over a year! NEVER EVER AGAIN ordered our usual including a chicken curry. What arrived can only be explained as a broth of curry coloured water, a few mushrooms, few carrots and a cube of chicken. Phoned to say wasn't happy (have never had to complain before) and was told they were happy with what they had sent out. We sent a video of the pot that was sent and even the lady on the phone (Rachael) said "oh christ that's awful" and said she would speak to the manager/chef. She spoke to them and their response was "tough, not sending anymore out and you must have eaten the chicken"!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service, even the lady on the phone was embarrassed at how awful they were, said they have had lots of complaints recently. Only good thing going for them was Rachael who was the poor middleman dealing with this. Never ever thought I'd post this but AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! Absolutely disgusting cold food The full order wasn't delivered even 1 of the missing meals arrived an hour and half later what a joke of a place I will never order from them ever again.

A really impressive and unexpected find, the food was proper gastro quality, made with care and skill and inexpensive. We had a roast pork for £16 and a buttermilk chicken burger for £14 (I think). Quality ingredients, generous portions, cannot fault and I always find improvements! Good chilled soundtrack and coffee too. Will defo be back!
