The best restaurants in Thanet South East

didn't have a meal at the dolphin went for the karaoke eve last thursday, well what can i say after the negative reviews this pub gets. we are a couple 79 plus who love a bit of karaoke, the bar staff, the young lady running this and all the young people in there made us very feel welcome, they were polite and friendly and personally i didn't hear any bad language. we had a very enjoyable evening so well done kids some great voices too, thanks

Sorry to write this review, as it was a nice place to visit till few months back or i would say when it started. We ordered a meal for a family of four. A meal deal Bucket + Burger + Chicken strips. I was warned that it will take 15 mins - which was fine. But After 5 mins half of the meal was served and the rest took around 30 mins as the priority for the reception guy was online orders - once I complaint on the service - he got unhappy, which was clear from his attitude, Normally you get ketchup etc free if you are eating in but he charged us, i asked him that normally these comes with meal so he says take it free. But I paid for it as it seem odd as why he was behaving like this and i dont want to eat anything with out paying. The environment he created was not worth sitting there so we took our meal and left. later realizing he didnt even put everything in the meal deal ( No Coleslaw or beans), cause he was angry. we were stuck as we have already paid. Not everything on Menu was also available - like Peri Peri chicken etc. Not a good experience at all.

smashing little hut serving good coffee and treat cakes on the seafront. The smooth jazzy latin music was a really good addition.

Always a great service and great quality food. Would recommend to anyone.

Incredible food with incredible service, the atmosphere was fantastic and the outside seating area is lovely. The prices are great for the food as-well, portion sizes are good and wait time is minimal. Our servers Olly and Darian were both wonderful, making sure we had drinks and our food was all okay, etc Olly was incredibly nice and easy to talk to, with a very positive attitude. I could not rate the broadstairs posillipo location anymore, will definitely be back.

The food was great but they served it in waffle cups that melted in my hand the service was terrible there was one person working there and it’s always busy BUT the atmosphere…I didn’t get to go inside apparently the inside shut down in pademic

The windmill has been our local since Scarlet and Steve took over. The atmosphere and customer service is second to none. We come over at least twice a week and bring our grandkids with us, the food is great and Renata has a great attention to detail and knows how our autistic grandchild has his dinner. Gold star to the entire team.

Great place to sit for a coffee or food. Staff always helpful and happy, food is great and price is good. Plenty of seating inside plus extra outside, very clean whenever I've been in and service is quick.

We ordered a takeaway for the family last night 2 starters 5 mains and assorted rice and breads……and wow what a fantastic meal each main was different distinctive and delicious the naans were fabulous…..we have just found our favourite Indian takeaway.

I just bought the worst coffee I have had in my memory from this café. In fact I had to take the lid off the cup to make sure that there was actually any coffee in it! Weak and insipid. I bought a medium. If you are tempted to buy one try the small it might taste of coffee.

Booked for an evening during a weekend in Broadstairs. Restaurant upstairs is cosy and friendly, and the service and food were excellent. They’d run out of chips, which is definitely a first for me but the sautéed potatoes are an excellent substitute!
