Very nice food great taste best Indian food in Margate! Shame the food wasn’t so warm. Would be nice if the curry was filled to the top of the tray. But I do like the food here.

Delicious meal. Hot and tasty with loads of meat! Only criticism was it was over an hour earlier than we had ordered it for bit not a huge problem. Will def order again,

We ordered for delivery. Great service, they took the time to speak with us about allergies and gave us confidence in our order. Food arrived quickly and the spicy butter chicken was one of the best I’ve had. Will definitely order again. FYI you can order directly from their website rather than paying Uber etc which was a bonus.

We decided to try somewhere different from our usual Indian takeaway, & ordered from Bayleaf curry house, we were not disappointed. The food was very hot when it was delivered, and the flavours were amazing. The king prawns were really succulent and well cooked. ( I've had so many that were over cooked & dry) from other places. The chicken and lamb tika dhansak were also very flavoursome. This place is well worth a try, and we will definitely be back soon.

Delicious 😋 food. Waiting time was less then expected. Huge portions. Felt sad as there was left over food and I couldn't manage it because I was stuffed!! Son polished it off. Lovely..

Delivery says 45 minutes. We'll over an hour and 40 minutes later food arrived cold. Meat roxk hard and the best of the meal was the cucumber........type 1 diabetes its not great ro wait so long and have inedible food.......called twice........massively disappointed

Had a takeaway tonight - came without problems. Meal was delicious - excellent cumin rice and vegetable korma. Highly recommend.

1st ever time ordering from here, after receiving lots of positive recommendations on how nice the food is! Yes, I know it was New Years Eve before the critics come out of their cardboard boxes.... I placed my order at 1850, I was told delivery would be 50 minutes... Eventually turned up at 2140hrs!!! After, of course, chasing it up an hour prior to delivery... And it arrived cold.... Took around 30 attempts in calling before someone finally answered the phone, I was told that a replacement order would be with me within 20-30mins. This finally arrived around another hour later at around 2245 (on my Ring Doorbell!). Took almost 4 hours from the original order to get some decent food. Customer service, I.e. Answering the phones, needs to be seriously improved, and felt like I was constantly ignored, which made me more frustrated with yourselves, after all the positive things I'd heard and read about you. Need to provide better timings.... Rather be told a longer wait and it arrives sooner, instead of being told less than an hour and then taking almost 3hrs for the 1st attempt. Will I order from you again??? I'm not sure! Yes, the food was eventually amazing, and yes, the best Indian I've had in a long time... However, the long delivery wait and not answering the phone's really has put me off! I've been absolutely and completely honest about my 1st experience with Bayleaf... Should I return and the service has improved and the food is still as awesome, then I'll change my review and scores to reflect that.

Absolutely atrocious food! The curry was undercooked and overflowing with oil, the paneer dish was harder than a rock and the naans lacked flavour. Safe to say we will not be ordering from here again!

This was our favourite curry place for the past year but the last 2 meals we have ordered haven't been up to the usual standard. They have also been delivered late both times, an hour late tonight and not answering the phone. When it finally turned up, both times, my tikka masala has clearly been watered down and tasteless, as well as the saag aloo. Gf's dishes were similar. Also didn't help that the last meal that was delivered had been dropped and the curry had exploded in the bag. It's a shame as had been ordering almost every week and was always perfect food usually.

Just rubbish. 1st takeaway was good a few weeks back was lured in. Both curries were like meat in Campbells condensed tomato soup with no other additives. And tasted identical. Garbage

Heard good things so thought we would give it a try. Delivery was prompt and on time. Unfortunately the salad that was to come with one dish was missing and then the most disgusting thing ever. King prawn butterfly- more batter than prawn but then cut the tail off and was faced with the prawns poo Tracy draped over my food!!! Didn’t eat any more. £28 down the swaney. It takes no time or effort to remove the pipe that holds the prawns faeces before being used for cooking. DISGUSTING

Food ok.But after using twice via phone and meals arriving with dishes missing 🧐Decided to order in house get home and a main dish missing phoned shop and 20 minutes later arrives with driver saying its £9:95 🤯Good food but will not use again.

Have previously enjoyed two delicious takeaways from here. But last night was a complete disaster! From the start it all went wrong as they initially forgot to deduct the 15 percent discount , wanting the full amount. Admittedly this quickly got sorted after speaking to the manager.. I ordered the Naga mixed grill as love a spicy curry along with a couple of puri as part of our order. When it arrived all was very cold , needing heating up. Sadly my mixed grill was not the Naga option but the standard tandoori type. Not what I ordered. Also the puri where soggy under cooked and simply nasty. In the bin! Not good enough which is a shame as I'd finally thought I had a go to curry place☹️

I was really disappointed with my vindaloo and pilau rice. It was very oily. Also the vindaloo was tasteless and not spicy. This is the 2nd curry I haven't been happy with, so unfortunately I won't be using Bayleaf again.

For value, quality and taste simply the best Indian takeaway in Thanet, The Vindaloo is good , nagga chicken better and the phall is well .... Dangerous, pre-chill the wet wipes in the fridge for at least four hours.

Banging 10/10 hands down its actually mouth watering when your waiting for your delivery, matter of fact this takeaway is better than what you get in my manor finchley and there's a lot of competition amongst the indian takeaways in london. Not consistent. I've had half a dozen Prawn Dhansaks over 2 years. Sometimes it's absolutely delicious and sometimes it's bland and oversalted.

Just finished eating what was probably the best Indian takeaway I have ever had! I am quite a critic when it comes to food, but I couldn't find fault in this. Great portions, delivered bang on time, incredibly tender meat and unbeatable naans. I usually wait until the day after a takeaway to complete a review, just in case it gave me a dodgy belly, but given the cuisine, a delhi-belly is expected lol I have 100% found my new go-to 👏

Ordered a takeaway. Waiting the full delivery time and then they added extra time on this & it was still late. Korma had leaked all over the bag. Started to eat my korma when I noticed THE CHICKEN WAS RAW. I have tried to call the restaurant but no one was answering. Do not visit.

Ordered on line said 50 minutes, After 100 minutes website says it has been delivered. Phoned 10 times , no answer . Had to get dressed drive down and and they are now bagging up my order. Phone still ringing and no one picking up. SHAMBLES

Using Just Eat for an Indian meal for the first time in Broadstairs, we opted for Bayleaf. The delivery was on time, the delivery guy very pleasant, and delighted to say how delicious the food was. We had different chicken dishes and the quality of poultry was excellent. Very impressed

I have tried Bayleaf’s food few times now and every time the food was wonderful. My favourite is chicken jalafrezzi, chicken tikka biryani and naan bread taste and feels so fresh and yummy!

Had our first takeaway from here tonight as thought we would try somewhere different. Our food was delicious and generous portions. Delivered on time by Just Eat and was still lovely and hot when it arrived. Look forward to ordering our next takeaway very soon.

Our fourth visit to this new takeaway in Margate. Being vegetarian we have found that there are excellent choices for us. Always cooked just right and many wonderful flavours. Certainly will continue to use this great restaurant.

My husband purchased food from here last night, ordered vegetarian biryani, more like a vegetable fried rice. No flavour. The sauce which came with it, tasted like chilli powder mixed with black pepper and sauted. Ordered vegetable samosa, because we're vegan, and one was meat!? Onion bhaji was like mush once you bit into it. Our friends ordered Chicken dishes, which had no flavour. I'm Anglo indian, and can honestly say that this is NOT authentic indian cuisine, regardless whether they've adapted it for European tastes, as they admitted last night, when my husband told them I was I Indian. Would not recommend 😕 definitely will NOT be buying from here again ☹

Order was 30 mins late, they had wrong address and it was cold by the time it got here. I could have forgiven all of this if the food was good but it wasn't.

First time ordering from Bayleaf and had the best experience. Excellent food, great choice and fast delivery. Food was delivered by a really cheerful man, it arrived before the stated time and was hit and delicious. Also, especially as there is a 20% off on delivery over £15, very reasonably priced. I went into the Bayleaf last Friday (17/09/2021) asit had just opened and was closet to me. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was cooked quickly (but not supiciously kept warm out the back quickly). The food itself was really tasty and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anybody.

Delicious food, well packed and presented. It arrived early and it was very hot and fresh. The best curry I've ever had!🙂
