Ordered delivery today, was told it would be 45 minutes, it turned up after 70 minutes. Food was cold and lamb was chewy. They may be better in person but I don't know as I haven't tried, however as far as takeaway goes not for me, mightve been nice if it was hot!

The food was not very flavourful. The curries were bland abd the keema naan was inedible. Very dissatisfied, normally order from here but will jot be ordering again!

Rung up to complain excuse was it was a large order 3 curries 3 rice 2 man 8 popadom sag aloo and Bombay potato I wouldn’t say is a big order !!

This has been our regular Indian takeaway for years but the last few deliveries have not been no where near as good . Chicken is tough and no taste to the sauce rice was supposed to be pilau rice but it wasn’t and also clumped together and over cooked ,poppodoms have an oily substance ,won’t be using them anymore

Order was incomplete. Missed a side dish. Not worth phoning up as food will be eaten before missing part of order sent out. Food was ok but not warm.

Staff are friendly and attentive portions are generous! and selection of veggie options and wines are are good. perfect for date night food came quick and Hot will be returning.

My family went to Ramsgate Tandoori for my dad’s birthday. There were 10 of us, 9 being vegan. The food was absolutely stunning and the food was fresh and beautiful. The owners were very accommodating and so friendly and welcoming. I think this was possibly the best meal we have ever had. Definitely going to be a regular for us. Thank you so much. X

Family of 3 on a Saturday night, nice atmosphere friendly staff and great service. The restraunt is a step back to the 60/70's Ruby house which we liked but not everyone's taste. Beer very fare price. As for the food it was a real mix. Starters Onion bajais and samosa with a salad, tamarind and chilli sauce very nice. All lamb main dishes with plenty of tender Lamb. Buhna, Rogan and a Madras. Only issue is the Madras, this had very subtle flavours, nice but more of a Lamb Curry. Sides 2 pilau rice and 2 garlic nans. Rice great garlic nans slightly uncooked in the middle. in summary . I will be going back but probably for a Vindaloo.

Having had a meal both in the restaurant and as takeaway I can say both have been nice experiences. Attentive staff in the restaurant and quick delivery on the take away. Food is lovely and value for money, a good standard for a local tandoori, will be back again and would recommend to others

arrived 10 minutes early but that wasn't a problem, but all food was really cold had to heat it in the oven for 20mins so wasn't happy , could perhaps understand it being cold if it was late

Enjoyed a delightful meal at the Ramsgate Tandoori with our guests from France this evening. We had an array of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes, varying rices and breads. All with beautiful flavours and served with smiles. Raushan (the owner) kindly provided a high chair for the 20 month old and was very attentive to our needs. Thank you.

Very sad 😔 this place is awful. We used them a few years ago and was nice but tonight we had a takeaway. Samosa freezing cold in middle, prawns overcooked, tandoori chicken dry overcooked,, chapati like rubber, chicken korma dry overcooked. Paid for poppadoms not included. Sent food back. As we ordered from just eat the owner refused refund and hung up phone. Avoid or you may get food poisoning.

Have been either going to or having takeaway from this restaurant for over 30 years. We had a family take away last night and I moist admit we were very disappointed The madras was the best thing. My daughter’s rogan Josh was very bland The Popadoms tasted of rancid butter. The onion bhajis half were burnt and tasted off and the other half were mushy. The only really good things were the nan breads. I am so disappointed as I have always championed this restaurant but don’t think I will again.

Wow! Succulent food. Wonderful service. We got Chicken Dansak. Chicken Madras. Prawn Rezala (divine!) poppadoms - garlics and coconut naan - sag aloo. Two beers £63!!! Amazing two of us.

I tried this place on my own last night, as I was looking to take a party of 15 people there next month. Very poor experience and disappointed. The poppadoms were stale, onion salad had unwashed carrot 🥕 peel in it?? The main course tasted like the sauce was from a supermarket Jar and not cooked from scratch. The rice portion was a 3rd of a takeaway container and cold as was the main. Now the chapattis were very hot and appeared fresh which was surprising as the rest of the meal was very low standard. The portion to price was too expensive for what it was. I won't eat here again or recommend it which is a shame as I love Indian food.

We were very happy with our night out at the Ramsgate Tandoori. The hosts make you feel at ease and are nice people. You can’t go wrong with the food and the price is fair. I much prefer this restaurant to the other Indian in town because it’s friendlier and more to my taste.

This Restaurant is Lovely, so are the Friendly Staff, The food was amazing. We will go again most Definately. My Partner and I Loved it.

Food has ‘just left’ and still took 15 mins even though we live <5mins away. Food was warm not hot and items missing. Only excuse they gave ‘they were busy’ which is fine but adjust your estimated delivery accordingly and ensure on quality…..

The portion size was awful. Total waste of money.

The food was beautiful and the owners where very polite and kind and made sure we had everything we needed also drinks are nice not too bad a price would definitely recommend and will have to come back.

Ordered a takeaway meal using the restaurant's own website ordering tool. Straightforward and simple. Two meals, chicken tikka masala and prawn korma plus rice with each meal. Meals delivered, no issues whatsoever. Both meals were delicious and plentiful. Will be using this restaurant more often.

I’m really disappointed with my order this evening. Everything was tasteless and cold.. and the chicken korma was really runny with hardly any chicken. It’s such a shame because I’ve been a customer for many years on and off and I remembered it being one of the best Indians in town… and now I won’t be ordering again.

Sadly disappointed with the quality of the food. Poppadoms were stale, and a couple of group were given different dishes to what they had ordered.

Small portions & not a lot of chicken especially in tikka masala dish

It was a quiet night and this gave us time to talk with one of the owners (a lovely lady). Great chat on how the business and people’s eating habits have changed over the years. I am old enough to remember when it was an after the pubs close meal. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and if in Ramsgate again will not hesitate to visit again.

Ordered a takeaway last nigth. 25th September 2023. Fast effiecient delivery, free of charge. Chicken Madras, mushroom Pillai rice. Peswarni nan. One of the best Indian takeaways I've ever had. Compliments to the Chef.

This restaurant is great for any occasion. We eat there on a regular basis and the owners are always happy to see us and ensure that we have great service. The food is lovely and I can always rely on having a great chicken tikka masala there. Furthermore, the owners really care about the community they live in.

This is truly the worst curry I have ever had! Firstly the portion size was very small, main course sent in large container fitted into small one with still plenty of space. Chicken chat starter only about 1/3 of small container and totally tasteless with very little chicken in it. Main course equally tasteless and very under spiced for what was meant to be a medium spiced dish. The only plus was that the food arrived on time and hot!

The food was cold, which I can forgive. What I can't forgive, however, are the portion sizes. The foil tray was about 1/4 full with Lamb Dhansak, and the rice wasn't much better. The meal barely covered my plate. I don't usually order from here, but thought I'd try somewhere different for a change. I wish I hadn't!

Ordered a take away chicken and lamb meat was nice but it was bland and tasteless no hint of any spices at all. Babies first curry with long covid avoid.

I ordered a prawn pathia, the pawns were overcooked and the pathia was unlike any other pathia that I have ever tasted. It was not nice at all, it was that bad that I left over half of the curry. On the plus side the garlic nan was not that bad, and I am glad that I ordered it otherwise I wouldn't have eaten anything. The poppadoms were decent but you cant really mess them up. The beer wasn't really that cold so to be blunt it was a £20 plus nan bread for my tea tonight. Looking forward to going back home for a decent curry.

Booked for a Saturday night. Four of us. Great decor, lovely welcome. Ordered madras, dhansak, and loads if other dishes. I don’t know what has happened since my last review about five years ago but top marks now, foie was superb . I highly recommend this venue. It was also lovely to chew the fat with the Mayor.

Sadly this was one of the worst Indian meals I have ever had… it says it’s award winning but I’m not sure how that can be so?! Had very high hopes for this one reading they have been in business for so many years but I suppose they have let things slip a lot since the start and the awards… it left me with a very bad stomach the next day. All food lacked completely in flavour very watery curry’s all chicken was very white/pasty, similar to that of a microwave meal… In fact the whole thing may as well have been a microwave meal and low budget at that!!! Whole menu needs a fix up, perhaps a new chef. Very disappointing. 😕
