Fantastic food good service reasonable prices

A very authentic restaurant. My wife and I have been eating here for years. The food is brilliant. They are very good in their service. Highly recommended. Customers are treated like family. Every time my wife and I call to order a take away, we do not even need to use our names. They remember all of their customers.

Food was amazing, but dips with poppadoms were not fresh

Have used this restaurant on and off over the years! Always been of a reasonable standard and never had cause to raise any issues! However, recently ordered a takeaway, I went for a medium spiced dish, albeit I don’t mind a hot curry. Wow the medium spiced curry was so hot that it was burning my mouth and gullet. I have never experienced a curry so hot that you cannot taste that dish or even the side dishes! Never had a dish that spicy and can only assume the chef got their measurements completely wrong! It spoilt my meal, my wife went for a mild curry and she said that hers was okay. I will not be returning to throw away money on a non edible meal!

I’ve ordered from this place a lot - it’s the place that got me into loving curry. Recently my paneer makani has been downgrading quite gradually over the last month. A couple weeks ago, the paneer was somewhat burnt but I managed to eat it all. This week however, it was mostly burnt. I couldn’t eat most of the paneer, one had a whole burnt side. My saag paneer was completely fine though so I’m not sure what happened. Quite disappointed as it’s normally lovely

We Ordered a takeout, It was disgusting they should be ashamed. Mix tandoori inedible, apart from the Prawn, the meat tasted like it had been washed in disinfectant. The Madras was so hot more vindaloo a sauce covering sub standard meat I think. £30 is not easily to come by after the holiday season, never again. Please think twice

While the restaurant has received positive reviews, my experience unfortunately didn’t match those expectations. The food was delivered on time, and I can't fault the service. I cannot judge the atmosphere as we did not dine in. I was disappointed by the quality of the food, especially considering the price. The portions were quite small, and the starters, in particular, felt lackluster—more effort could have gone into making them fresh and flavorful. I also felt the main course didn't live up to the standard I expected from an Indian restaurant. I believe there’s room for improvement in both the quality of the dishes and the cooking techniques. I would recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area and looking for an English interpretation of Indian cuisine, but personally, I’d suggest looking for alternative spots that better represent the richness of Indian food.

Ordered a takeaway... the meat was as ropey as a bit of old leather... a shame cos its the only Indian in the village... feel like I've been served sub standard food cos there's no completion..

Original order took over an hour to arrive. Was tepid & when unpacked found to be incorrect. Restaurant sent replacements, but these again were pretty tepid and the whole meal took 2.5hrs to arrive. They also insisted on having the original meal packaged up and taken away by their staff. I hope they didn't try to re-sell it later on! Very disappointed. Staff gave a pretty half-hearted apology & certainly weren't going to entertain any sort of remittance. Wouldn't recommend.

This was a great restaurant a while back but is now on the slippery slope to oblivion. For a Friday night,about 9.00pm, the place was almost empty (6 other diners), freezing cold and not very good food. So disappointed.

Minster Tandoori Rating: 4/5 I recently visited Minster Tandoori with friends, and we had an enjoyable evening. The service was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The food was genuinely delicious, with rich flavors that showcased authentic Indian cuisine. There were a couple of minor points worth noting, however. The restaurant didn’t offer non-alcoholic beer, which was a bit of an issue as two of us were driving and would have preferred that option. Additionally, there was a slight cold draft, possibly from the kitchen or a ceiling vent, which was noticeable during the meal. Despite these small issues, we had a great time, and neither would prevent us from coming back. Minster Tandoori is a solid choice for tasty Indian food, and we’ll certainly be back!

We have been coming to the minster Tandoori since we were young adults (I am now 56) and this restaurant, in the 35 odd years we have been eating here, never fails to produce wonderful food. Our grown up children love the food and my 80 year old mum has never had an Indian meal and she thought the flavours were fantastic. We don't live local to minster however we always get our takeaways from here as the flavours and portions are spot on. We wouldn't dream of going elsewhere!!

Some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. It was excellent! I wish we lived closer because it’s so much nicer than any Indian restaurant close to us!

This restaurant used to be my local over 12 years ago and was great then. Returned recently whilst visiting family and it still lives up to its previous standard. Food and service were superb. Extremely friendly and a great atmosphere enhance the overall dining experience. First class flavours make this a great curry house. Hope to visit again soon.

Just had an amazing takeaway delivered from JustEat. The food was piping hot & fresh. The sauces were thick and the meat was very tender. Would highly recommend!

Not sure if there is a new chef, but our usual dishes tasted completely different and not in a good way - very disappointed and after 10 years, will probably not order from here again.

Food was amazing as always, but wait time was longer than expected. Received a text for collection but it wasn’t ready, had to wait and the restaurant is really hot inside!

It is very easy to order and choose a convenient delivery time. I like the food I order and it arrives at the right time. An all round good experience.

This is takeaway review Today is my son's 14th birthday and he loves curry but never had an authentic one made in an authentic way so I decided to treat him I ordered pilau rice Chicken madras Butter chicken ( madras hot) Onion bhajis Poppadoms Pilau was lovely really aromatic and clearly freshly cooked and there was plenty of it The chicken madras was delicious tender juicy chicken which had definitely been marinaded for ages as it had soaked up all the flavour and served in that stunning red sauce I was able to taste every ingredient my son's face lit up with every spoonful . The butter chicken madras hot .. sumptuous tender sweet hot everything you want from a butter chicken and with hot green chillies in the sauce it kept delivering flavour the more you continued to eat Onion bhajis my son has only ever tried the cold storm bought time so he was elated when he saw 4 huge bhajis in the tub. The silence was broken. Y the crunch from them crispy delicacies my son said it's like the shop one but 110 times better And to top it off a moon sized light and crispy poppadom to scoop it all in with I'm stuffed my son's stuffed with a huge smile on his face Thank you for a great introduction to Indian food for my son and for a great dinner all round Ps it arrived in a good time and the man was super polite and very well presented probably the smartest delivery driver I've ever seen

fish was very overcooked in the fish bhuna, but the curry was great tasting (3 stars). The duck Tikka Masala and Nan breads were all very good (5 Stars)

The restaurant has been tried and serves Indian food. The quality is not the best. The speed of serving is excellent and the prices are acceptable

Collection time was a little late but was treated to a free wet whilst waiting. Food was very good, will definitely return.

Little heat to Dhansak, barely any. Garlic nan, was doughy and slightly undercooked. Lemon rice devoid of lemon. Bhaji’s, heavy. Not the greatest.

used the minster tandoori many times and the food is fantastic but last night's service was terrible , the first arrival time was 8.10pm it then changed to 8.40pm and the food finally arrived at 9pm.

Mate where do I start🤤 the food was absolutely delicious and the staff and owner are so friendly and welcoming 10 out of 10 bruv if you’re new in Ramsgate or minster I really recommend you guys to try out this beautiful gem of a restaurant called Minster Tandoori you will not regret it!! Went at 5pm when just open for evening. Been going here for 30 years. Chapati was good but no sauce/pickle. Main courses very tasty. We will be back. Pub across road has good wine and 0% Guinness is picking up.

The best Indian takeaway around!

Food was incredible, best curry I have had in a long time. It was popping hot which is very rare for any takeaway. Lovely delivery driver.

Food was barely warm and the quality was not good very greasy it was delivered very quickly which means it wasn’t cooked to order the standards at this restaurant have clearly gone down

The service was good however the expectations of food slightly didn’t meet as it was more likely made for English people. No spicy, I was specifically looking for authentic Asian/Indian food. The place and where it located was fair though based on the regular customer’s. We drove 40 minutes just to reach here looking at google map while returning from Dover.

We have eaten here quite a few times now and we have always had a lovely dining experience. Not sure what has happened guys but the food was dry and no flavour whatsoever. The service was extremely poor and very unwelcoming. Whatever has happened guys you need to sort it out quickly as the people on the table next to us was also not happy with the food. If you think charging £12.95 for a small potion of curry containing 5 small pieces of chicken is acceptable and hardy any sauce, well you are so wrong. Get a grip guys because you are much better than what we experienced tonight.

Amazing food and such a great selection to choose from, we had a large party and everything came out at the same time, the waiter had a great sense of humor too

collected the order from here food was hot and all in order. it was a large order I did for my friend's and I. food was tasty but my meal was a bit dry for my taste. but overall the food was food. maybe give some freebies though when the amount is alot would have been a nice touch. overall good food.

Both the starters were cold, this put us on the wrong foot straight away. The onion bhaji then becomes more of a tastless doorstop. The meat kebab starter because it was cold was truly awful and I refused to eat it. I had a lamb jalfrezi, it was ok, covered in onions but the meat was chewy. I was expecting better after all the reviews, but would be very reluctant to use these again. £40 down the drain in my opinion.....I am really not happy

This was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Food was delivered bang in time and all was still piping hot. Everything was absolutely perfect. Only complaint is the food was so good I ate the lot so didn’t have left overs for the next day!! Will definitely be using this for my regular take away delivery in future.
