This restaurant is the best for Indian dining , all the food is absolutely perfect and a perfect taste sensation. I've never found a better Indian restaurant. You get a taster before your starter and a beautiful soup before your main meal . It puts Indian restaurants on a higher level , the spices are perfect. Such friendly staff and very reasonably priced . Our lunch menu was £13.95 for 2 courses . Highly recommended

Worst Indian food I’ve had in a long time. The Chicken Tikka starter was inedible. There was something very wrong with the chicken. Our other two dishes - a Saag Aloo and a Lamb Rogan Josh were bland. I couldn’t eat them. It was a terrible waste of food. As we collected the food there was no chance for us to complain so it was also a total waste of money.

We ordered take away but in this restaurant, very friendly staff advised us and recommended dishes - vegetarian option and lamb. Both meals were full of flavours. We ate it on the beach, which is few minutes walk away. Overall it was very good experience.

To be honest I am surprised with such a good rate of the place. The food was very normal towards not tasty. I wouldn't come back.

Being there last night had paneer tikka masala.. I think it's must try dish. Starters were amazing.. We like the food so much that we are going again now. Good food

Lovely Indian food. Courses are not served in traditional way. They are uniquely presented. They serve amuse bouches. So it is a unique, must have experience. I strongly recommend.

Oh my goodness! I must say that again! OH MY GOODNESS THIS FOOD IS AMAZING! I will never oder from anywhere else ever again. My taste buds are in bliss. I'm 50 years old, I've tried a fair few tandoori's. This is the best by far. Not only is it's cooked to perfection, the flavours are amazing and the portions ate perfect. Staff very helpful and friendly. Thank you for the best ever tandoori experience

Popadoms were soggy and the rest of the food was average at best. I actually threw mine away. Shame as the food in the restaurant is lovely. The take away however was rubbish

The food was nice and tasty, but the popadoms tasted a little stale. It would have been nice to have been given a complementary onion salad but again I know not all Indian restaurants do this. Would still recommend, however I think eating in is always much better.

Amazing food the best Indian food I have had in a long while. Don't let the decor put you off, this is a must go place. Very reasonably priced and service was excellent, the Amuse-bouche were unexpected but delicious, the Goan Salmon tika just amazing. Definitely will be coming again and again.

I absolutely love this place. have been ordering here for years and they never fail to disappoint. the food is the best I have ever ordered from anywhere in the country. this time I accidentally submitted the order as ASAP when I wanted it for a specific time in the evening. I called them up 10 minutes after the order was placed and they happily adjusted the order to suit my needs. I will 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!

Nice restaurant with friendly service. They offered a few little things before and between dishes. Food was tasty, mains even came with rice, though we were disappointed with the okra which was too heavily battered and couldn’t taste of vegetable.

We had such a gorgeous time at flavours by kumar! The food was absolutely incredible and so cheap considering how great it was!! It has all your classic curry house faves as well as lots more for you to try. The staff even gave us free delicious bits in between courses, we felt totally spoiled :) go here!

Serving service was fabulous with starters and the amazing Indian food

We visited for a family meal for father's day and all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Every single dish had its own individual taste, not all based on the same basic sauce. My wife had the special, which was plaice with a fruity tamarind sauce, I had a rich pork dish and my daughter a korma. Each one was lovely as well as the vegetable side dishes, especially the allo Gobi. All topped off with a decent selection of desserts. For the quality it was excellent value, we'll visit again

Had a lovely meal here...reasonable prices...great service and food presented in a different way for a Indian restaurant...food was so tasty and probably one of the best sweets I have ever had a chocolate samosas with a pistachio sauce...amazing...keep it up guys

I ordered a takeaway from Flavours by Kumar tonight and it was fantastic. The Chicken Biryani was wonderfully fragrant and flavorful, with tender chicken and perfectly cooked rice infused with aromatic spices. The Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh was rich and hearty, featuring tender lamb in a deliciously spiced sauce that was both comforting and flavorful. The Egg Fried Rice was a great side dish, with fluffy rice and light, savory scrambled eggs. Overall, it was a memorable meal with delicious food delivered right to my door. Highly recommended!

Well where do I start... The main disappointment is that I actually paid for this, chicken Korma not really that nice and reminds me of Tesco's meal deal for two chicken korma... They are really similar but Tescos are much better, coconut rice had such a weird taste and was so dry, poppadoms tasted like fish, onion barges tasted like they had just come out of the freezer, the guy that served me seemed nice and the chicken was horrible.

Just can't beat the food or the service. Chilli chicken, Chicken Biryani are just superb!

First time to this restaurant. Not the best decorated venue, however, the food was just amazing and the service was superb. We all enjoyed our various dishes and we will certainly come back.

Visited very early evening and were greeted with a very warm 🙏 welcome. The food here is full of different flavours created by Kumar and his team. Service was great and lovely tasters between courses.reasonably priced for great quality and quantity of servings. Location is down a small side street, but inwoyld definitely recommend this venue for authentic dishes.

A very extensive lunch time menu. Incredibly well priced. The course were well presented and very tasty. A perfect venue for a lunch time treat.🙂

We usually go to their Margate restaurant, which is never disappointing but as staying in Broadstairs thought we'd try here. We went here for our Anniversary meal whilst visiting the area. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, food is delicious. I think what makes it is the little sample bits between courses, the mixed veg soup was delicious. Unfortunately we we're too full for dessert but, from experience, the poached pears are superb. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely Indian meal

Fantasitc meal. I would even say it's the best takeaway meal we've had in a long time. They were very polite and accommodating with regards to my partners food sensitivities and my enquires about the meal. The flavours of the meals were absolutely beautifully balanced and was a stark contrast to any other takeout in recent years. All came with extras that we didn't expect, but very much appreciated. Thank you all.

Excellent service once again from a restaurant that never fails to please. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. A range of specials which change frequently on the board . Additional small items of food provided between courses at no extra cost. piping hot , extremely tasty food. Excellent service from friendlt stagg. By far the best Indian restaurant in Thanet.

Booked a table here to catch up with some friends before Christmas, Ordered from the set menu which had a good choice of dishes. Food was plentiful and the staff were lovely.

Fabulous meal. I chose the vegetable thali, 4 small dishes of my choice with rice and naan delicious. Little taster on arrival and cup of very tasty soup between starter and main. Ramsgate restaurant is very open, waiters are attentive, but not pushy.

Delivery was late and food was cold. Disappointed

By far the best meal I've had in forever. We started with poppadoms and chutney- incredibly light and tasty. Chicken korma was unreal, as was the lamb biryani for main (wait for the sauce to come out before digging in!). I had the cheese Naan and we had a plate or peshwari Naan - both fantastic. The Tikka chatt for started had a beautiful kick to it and was full of flavour. The added extras that we didn't expect just topped everything off. We had mushroom soup and a vegetable pastry complimentary. This is by far a 5/5 star meal at unbelievable prices. I can't recommend highly enough. Only managed to get a couple of pictures as we scoffed it down as soon as we got the chance. Presentation is stunning. I'd recommend booking if you can, we arrived at around half 4 and by half 5 the place was filling up with reservations. Service incredible. Highly recommend.

Had an absolutely wonderful lunch at their 'special' price. Two courses, plus amuse bouche and palate cleanser, for under £15! The staff are lovely and the food really excellent. Will definitely go again.

Amazing! Absolutely love this place. We usually eat during afternoon menu offer, but the last three times have ordered on line and it’s just as brilliant and warm as being in the Ramsgate restaurant. Keep it up guys

Obviously 2nd delivery. Food was too cold to eat without microwave. Tasty but uninspiring. Won't order again. HOWEVER, We eat in restaurant frequently and can't fault it. Go to the restaurant, enjoy great food, good service and its only about £6 more.

sorry guys but what on earth happened :( the food was very very poor tonight. never known anything like it. the prawn starter was fried to death. Rock hard. no sesame seeds or flavour. everything tonight was so bland. we've eaten in and had a few takeaways and they've never been this awful. The bread ... it was stale and flat. looked like a shop bought bread. again, not had this before. the icing on the cake was a lump of gristle on my chicken. Really quite shocked to be honest.

Had a two night family break in Ramsgate and visited this restaurant on Saturday evening. Received great service. Had lovely appetisers and all of our food was delicious. I ordered Kadai Chicken and the chicken was so tender. Rice was so light and fluffy. Couldn’t fault it at all. Thank you FBK!

My husband & I went for lunch whilst staying in Ramsgate for 3 days. We had read good reviews which was why we chose to eat here. We were extremely impressed with our meal & agreed it was one of the best we have eaten in recent years. We were warmly welcomed & menus brought. The set lunch was very good value with a large & varied choice of starters, mains & desserts. We were brought tasty complimentary starters whilst we waited which was a nice touch. Our chosen starters were excellent, notably the gobi kempu - fried cauliflower - which was superb. Before our main courses were served we received a very tasty complimentary cup of sweetcorn soup. Mains [chicken korma & fish curry] were beautifully presented, accompanied by generous helpings of rice & naan bread. We could not fault anything - everything was so tasty & we enjoyed every mouthful. We were nicely full so did not have the opportunity to sample the lovely sounding desserts. This was a wonderful meal & extremely good value.

So disappointing- some nice flavours, spoiled by over a 2 hour wait for mains, yes we had starters, yes there were some freebie appetisers - but someone has seriously taken their eye off the ball here and filling up a plate or bowl with peppers and onion , whilst hiding a few pieces of pressure cooked lamb that had disintegrated- does not constitute a good Indian dish and does not constitute good value for money. Table of 6 tonight - based on my recommendation- left totally underwhelmed - as was evident by the amount of food left. Chicken Biriani lacked any flavour, chicken Saag full of saag no chicken. I won’t be rushing back unless someone gets their finger out and delivers the food and service that they used to - such a shame as they used to be so much better than this , now - not even a good Indian restaurant - there are so many better value options .

I had such high hopes for this place, but alas it was not meant to be. The starters were good - a different take on dosa and crispy onion bajis. However for me, the chickens tikka was a little dry, but my kids and wife thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered the prawns as a starter, but these were simply deep fried prawns with panko breadcrumbs and did not resemble the menu description. The were tasteless and very disappointing. However most of the food presentation was top notch and the flavours were indeed good for some of the dishes. The mains were just awful. The naan was not fresh and looked like it been store bought. Such a let down. Perhaps they were down on kitchen staff given that it was Diwali? Would I go again? Actually I probably would if I knew it had a fully staffed kitchen. Guys, sorry for the negative review, but you aren't a million miles from having a good restaurant.

We were recommended this restaurant from one of the bar staff in the mariners rest,she said it was really good Indian food,we were not dissapointed ,the staff were freindly and attentive and the food was fantasticand the prices very fair,all in all a great meal

The food was among the best Indian we have had (and we live in London). The service was excellent. They even gave us some appetisers while we were waiting for our mains and they were beautiful. Prices are low considering the quality.

Food was delicious, amazing vegetarian choice, incredible value for money, and friendly delivery staff. Zero faults to be found, highly recommended. The aubergine mash was a particular delight.

I visited this Restaurant quite early in the Evening and I was the only customer at that time. Unfortunately the atmosphere was somewhat subdued! I have been a couple of times before and remembered that the specials on the blackboard resulted in some excellent but a little different. I therefore ordered the Lambs liver starter, and the Lamb chop main. I was not disappointed! Before the starter I was presented with a small aperitif which was a couple of mouthfuls, but packed a punch! The lambs liver was excellent and presented beautifully. Then a small cup of spiced mushroom soup, again powerful and tasty. The main course was tandoor lamb chops served on a crushed potato bed, and accompanied with plain rice and a generous cashew sauce. I drank a 500ml Pale Ale from a local brewery (Gadds No.3). The meal was fabulous!! I don’t live locally but if I did I would be here regularly. The bill was £26. Bargain.
