Beano Kebab in Thanet

Arrived 25 minutes before the estimated time, so quick delivery 🤩 the kebab meat was really good and flavourful. The chips weren't the best they were soggy but luckily still warm.

The value for money is insane. Food is so good

We regularly order from here and have never had any issues. Our orders have always been hot and fresh and always correct. The deliveries have always been very speedy and even on busy weekends, we have not waited longer than we would have expected to wait.

My chicken shish was beautifully cooked. Chicken was tender and charred just right. Delivery was quick by a lovely, friendly lady.

Sad to say as I’ve been ordering from here for years that I had a disappointing food delivery. Undercooked chicken and re fried chips with some fresh undercooked chips in the same portion. Never been disappointed before such a shame.

I moved from westgate to Essex 5 years ago and every time i come back to westgate i have to have one of their shish kebabs..Their just the best 👌🏻

The best pizza that my wife and I have had in a long time. Great base great toppings delivered within 40 minutes and piping hot. We both went for the 14in and had half of each pizza left for the next day well worth the money. Will definitely be ordering again. If you fancy a pizza you can't go wrong with a Westgate Beano's one.

Very rude staff, specifically asked for no onion and both kebabs arrived with loads of onions all over it, no tomatos and kebabs were cold. when called up staff were very rude and said 'throw it away if you not gonna eat it init' Very unprofessional and dissatisfied. Save your money and order from a proper kebab house. 👎

The food is always to a high standard and my view is that they offer the best doner and chicken kebabs in Thanet. They are also generous with their salad on the kebabs.

Me and my 3 friends came and ordered kebabs and burgers then was shocking we had food poisoning very disappointed in this place chicken was pink and burgers yuck, the waiting time was ridiculous nasty grub, who ever owns this place they shouldn't do, just greedy and make money out of people that's all he or she cares about WORSTE EVER SERVICE,

I just moved down into Westgate 2 days ago and ordered food here when I went into.this shop ,most of the guys were lovely but I met the owner of beanos and wasnt happy with him at all as he was very rude indeed cause i complained about burnt and uncooked food especially tiny portions, so I the owner spoke to me and called me a lier" if I don't like his food" then go somewhete else". Me and the family was shocked by his attitude never ever rehcommend this place :( 🤮👎👎👎

Ordered chicken donner late afternoon and ate then the following afternoon stomach pains and crippling diahreoha All night every 20 minutes!!! So poorly now.

Hour and 10 mins for semi hot and not a lot of shish.. cold chips 😬

Shame that someone who advertises they close at 2am but actually they close before then? So In actual fact they are false advertising! Which apparently is illegal, is it not?

We have been ordering from here for the last 20yrs and tonight we ordered a large mixed kebab and salad with no pitta bread and onion rings cost £12 .. what arrived was a medium mixed doner with pitta bread and onion rings .. I phoned to confirm the order and was told that's the new large ... I have to say this was the worst experience from them I've had and will not be ordering again this was certainly not a large and considering the meat is cheap £12 was alot .. we shall be ordering from Babas in future

Top notch tasty Kebabs and pizzas especially the Beano Special Pizza. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly as well. All in all worth a visit.

Love this place Had it twice in a row this week. I accidentally clicked collection last night and they called me to see where I was and dropped it off. I really like their chilli sauce. Really tasty!

Just had an order and it was blooming lovely, they did forget a burger but I called and it was us in no time at all, cooked fresh and piping hot, lovely and polite and excellent service will definitely eat here again 😋

Ordered a shish kebab meal deal. Was meant to include a medium shish kebab, chips and drink. Drink didn't arrive. Meal was cold and burnt. Kebab only had 3 pieces of meat in it. Usually excellent kebab shop so hoping was a one off.

Used to be a great take away, but recently gone downhill. Today the chips tasted like reheated left overs, and after they forgot my daughters drink (for the 2nd time) I called about this. They said the driver probably forgot, so they would call him. Over an hour later we still haven't received it. Such a shame as we used to love this kebab shop, but think its time to try somewhere new!

Best Shish kebabs ever!!, I was a regular user of Beano but unfortunately I moved away and I miss my chicken shish kebabs so much from here!! 😭 haven't found any as good anywhere since! Garlic sauce is lush and chicken always tasty and very generous portions!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE , found long grey/black hair in my kebab , in chips and even a black hair ball at the bottom of the melted chips

Just ordered cod and chips, and a burger. Absolutely disgusting!! Fish was chewy with burnt batter, chips also burnt. Burger was vile. Heard such good reviews but will never order from them again. And it was cold, not that that would make a difference. Hugely disappointed.

Had the kebab wraps form here several times. Delicious, never had anything else so can't comment further, chips are fairly average. They deliver on just eat and delivery is always correct and usually prompt. Prices are competitive. They only take cash in-store though, so be aware.

Having tried most of the menu I can say that I haven't been dissatisfied with any of it, staff are friendly and can't do enough to help, the place always looks clean and tidy. Great prices too :-).

Pepperoni pizza was very very greasy, possibly used red Leicester and mozzarella? Will try kebab next time. Clean place, friendly staff and look efficient

Both pizza and chips were freezing when got here and were like rubber, garlic bread was cold as Well, forgot to bring my drink, rang and asked for it and was told to wait, food was disgusting, will NOT be using them again

The quarter pounder tastes much better than you expect. Price is okay too. I'd be happy to come back if I'm in the area.

Lovely customer service and amazing food

Worst pizza ever for espwciales for this price...I was only one customer, after 15 minutes my pizza came burnt and they put wrong topping as well, I should have refused but I was rushing for a train, I just ate one slice as I was hungry, disgusting, smelling very bad, avoid this place

Reviewing this place after possible worst chicken sheesh kebab was dry with no flavour th chilli sauce was orange colour there was about 3 peices of chicken and last but not least the mayo tasted watered down this shop is cheap and nasty wish we ordered somewhere else we only ordered from here as was local . Wont be ordering from.here again as took 40 mins as normal anyway.

I am not a real fan of kebabs but this place also cooks great burgers which I just love. They are cooked fresh and have a lovely toasted bun as well. You can have what ever you want in the burger too so plenty of salad extra. The pricing is good too, recently we tried their pizzas which again are filled or stacked with plenty of fillings and the chips also compliment the dishes. On a Saturday night they are open till just after 02:00 am.

It's a take away kebab shop which sticks to the model fairly accurately with kebabs of various types. Late night availability. Not for the health conscious but good after the pin if you like that kind of thing.

Placed an order at 1930hrs still waiting for it an hour n half later....

when camping or carvaning this is place we go for take away food have tryed others but this is best in my opinion.

We visited this food eatery for a change and decided to try their pizza . Our choice was a chicken pizza and chips and when we got home we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the good and the quantity for the money.

First time here and will return. Very fast delivery and tasty food with a wide variety on the menu. Clean and tables cleared promptly.

Good food, friendly service, but unfortunately often silly mistakes on telephoned orders. It's a shame, I like their food but cannot put up with regular delivery errors. I now use someone else.

The burgers cooked here are amazing and good quality. The staff are always friendly ad helpful and always try to get you to purchase other items which you normally end up doing as they area so persuasive. This kebab house cooks a good variety of food fresh and wel priced . Peter

This has to be one of the best kebab takaways around the Thanet area, I have probably tried most of them, but this is the one I have chosen to recommend. That is not to say that I have not enjoyed other kebabs, but this one is helpful and friendly, they deliver within reasonable distance and the food is always hot on arrival. Their menu is varied in that they don't only do kebabs but also pizzas and other bits. Can recommend Westgate Beano Kebab.

Always used to use here, took over an hour to be delivered, after ringing three times though out that hour like a mug to be told "it's on its way", to then have to walk down the road to find a driver that doesn't speak English and has no idea where we are! The food was cold, chips overcooked. Generally crap
