Staff were friendly, portion sizes are tiny, prices are mental considering portion size, thankfully there is other options near by. Won’t be returning.

I bought a combination kebab chicken shish and chicken doner meat with salad and asked for chips as extra. I also ordered Halloumi kebab and chips. When I was in the shop there were 7 staff and they were very busy doing Just Eat orders or Deliveroo. When I got home my chips had not been included and the doner chicken meat was very dry. It appears that the meat must have been sitting in a warmer for a while as it was very dry and thin and tasteless. The chicken doner meat on the spit looked lovely and moist when I was waiting for the order. The chicken shish was dry and tasteless. The chilli sauce was very, very mild to the point of being tasteless. I will not be going back. They seemed too busy to care about our order. £21 wasted. The other kebeb (halloumi) was ok . A real shame.

Great kebabs. Most places are the same price. But here you get a full kebab for your money.. decent spices and tasty.. worth the 5 mile drive.

I brought a lb donner with salad here 1 night for the first time, and it was so disgusting, as when i started eating the donner meat and couldnt believe it ,,,, There was little bones inside the meat so it broke my tooth so now and painful as i found a bit of bone inside very painful than thank to the donner meat :( i was very disappointed ;( and i had to go to the dentist all the way in ashford for out of hours treatment so recommended for anyone who needs dental treatment dont go here please

Its haven't changed. Still as good as always I didn't get any food in while but i will say they food always very good

I will never order from this place again. I ordered for collection and their 3rd party delivery service places this for collection. And yet when placing my order was asked for my delivery address. Then when contacted direct, and asked for a refund I was fobbed off..

these boys are the BEST around - the food here is second to none 🙌⭐ the service is always with a smile and greeted with great hospitality - I haven't found a place that serves kebabs better than this around Thanet - 11/10 🙌😁

I had a chicken shish, my stomach did feel a bit bad after, had stomach pain. My colleague on the other side, had a burger, immediately after he felt bad and went sick.

Sturdy kebab shop, frequently providing a decent kebab to the patrons of Westbrook and beyond. Definitely one of the better kebab shops in Margate.

The service is quick and the food is always cooked to perfection. The menu is good but typically from a kebab shop. The Charcoal Grill has been there for years so it's obvious that they are doing something right.

Medium chicken doner, all salad, garlic mayonnaise. Bang tidy. I mean they do a thousand other things and service is whip quick, but the regular order is where it's at. £6 which I would say is reasonable for the quality of food.

Have given so many chances to this place and always the same result. Dry chips , dry chewy chicken. Just so disappointing. Never again.

Just want to put this out there! Ordered from Charcole grill Westbrook. Order same thing most weeks. Had it delivered this time! Burnt or not???? Asked them if they could change the chicken as I felt a bit overdone , plus after trying one piece it was drier than a Nuns Privates! In fact after they refused to change it saying there was nothing wrong with it. I gave to the dog who had to stop chewing and start gulping water! Anyway why bother saying on your website if you have a problem with our food contact us! Just to get mugged off ! £13.70 won’t kill me and I’m sure the dog enjoyed it! So here it is ! My Chicken Kebab!

Our favourite place to order from for years, whether it’s their homemade pizzas, their burgers or their kebabs. Chicken shish kebab with salad and pitta bread was delicious. Everything cooked well and their salads are always fresh. Love what they do with their red cabbage - adds a nice flavour. Generous portions too. Staff here are polite. Even their delivery guys are lovely!

I ordered online, and I made a mistake with the delivery address (I didn't check it was correct). We only realised when the driver rang to say the food was outside, and when i opened the door, It wasn't! Called them up, asking where it was and the other address had taken our order and not said anything to the driver. I rang the shop and they were lovely and even though it was my mistake and they didn't have to help us out at all, they were brilliant. We paid a smaller amount than my order came to as we'd used them before and they sent us out our meal,i t arrived very quickly, piping hot, and delicious as always. They didn't have to do that for us but I'm very happy they did.

Paid nearly £3 for garlic bread on the menu and they go any buy and cook a cheap one from a local shop! Utter disappointment! Never again

Service was quick and friendly. Ordered a combination kebab, everything tasted good. Portion size was average but too much salad for my liking. Pitta bread was left outside the box so was dry. Chips were good. 👍🏻

Avoid like the plague. Missing items when food arrived. Rang restaurant and was yelled at. Missing item sent out. Then realised wrong portions sent out. Rang again, to be threatened, screamed at, abused down the phone by one of the nastiest people I’ve ever encountered. Told they were sending men to my house. Spent the rest of the evening worried sick at every noise of a car outside incase the restaurant had followed through with their threats. Almost had to involve the police as was worried for mine and my child’s safety.

Charcoal Grill in Westbrook, is consistently great. Super flavours, excellent portion sizes, and fantastic customer service. Spotlessly clean too.... Would highly recommend.

Not impressed! Ordered food on line payed and ticked the box to say leave the stuff on the door step due to covid19, knock on the door delivery driver no mask handing my order to me won't be using your service again

Wow.... what an utter joke of a business. All previous negative reviews from other customers conveniently deleted, along with the very rude replies from the boss/owner. Now... where do I start?! First order, fantastic! Placed second order asking to make card payment over phone. Was told this was fine. No payment taken. Assumed card reader would be sent upon delivery. Food arrives and told card isn’t accepted on delivery. Spoke to who I presume is the boss at the shop and he moaned, told me I was wrong. Even though I specifically asked to pay via card! Sent me a link to pay which I was happy to do. Realised food was stone cold, wrong sizes sent and missing a salad. Called up twice to be yelled at by an extremely abusive, arrogant, ignorant, bully who continued to threaten me by sending his driver back to cause trouble. Accused me of not paying. I said I’ll happily pay when you resolve the issue. He continued to scream over me so my partner got on the phone as he was defending me. I told him if he dare sends anyone to my house which will scare the living daylights out of my daughter I was getting the police involved. Needless to say she could hear him yelling at me over the phone and was very distressed. Absolute joke of a company. Disgusting abusive bullying pig of a boss/owner? Avoid at all costs. Would rather gauge my eyes out with nails than order from this place.

I am not happy at all with my order, the deep fried garlic mushrooms are not what you think they are. It’s a pile of mushrooms drowned in garlic sauce!! The burger looked like it was literally thrown together, I will never be using this restaurant again. I called the restaurant and they said it says sauce on the menu when if you actually look it says nothing about sauce, the exact words on the menu is “deep fried garlic mushrooms” not “deep fried mushrooms in garlic sauce”

How do you mess an order up when I'm standing in front of you?, and then we couldn't get through on the phone to get it changed, we travel from another part of the Island to get our food, but thats twice now you have got it wrong... time to find somewhere else... shame

I'm OK with the food not being as hot as we'd like it upon arrival, I'm OK with the food arriving later than advised. What I'm not OK with is choosing garlic mayo for the sauce on a wrap and it being heavily infused with mint. One person not being able eat out of the six of us after waiting nearly two hours for it to arrive because it's not what was ordered/tasting horrible, then calling the restaurant for them to say "that's just what we have" I then suggested perhaps change the label on the app to say garlic and mint mayo. To be replied with a sarcy "I'll contact Just Eat and get it changed".

There was a slight mix up with my order but I contacted them and they were very happy to help and even offered me a fresh new order because of the mix up. They got the fresh order out to me quickly too. Both delivery drivers were nice and the food was noticeably hot both times as well!

Really good meat, had both doner and shish in my kebab as the combo was a good price, £8.50 I think it was. My mate recommended this place and said it was the best kebab around. Was very busy so lots of people clearly think the same. Only thing that wasn't to my personal taste, was the garlic sauce. Tasted a bit minty to me. Excellent kebab still, just had to remove some of the sauce.

I ordered a box of mixed meat to share with my partner, 2 sauces were included in the price. I asked for these to be separate in the notes however when it arrived it was covered in hot chilli sauce (which I can’t eat) and Burger sauce (which my partner doesn’t like) I called the restaurant and I was told ‘ You should have ordered and paid for the sauces separately’ (despite them being included in the price and me asking for them to be separate). I explained we couldn’t eat the food! I understand mistakes happen but was then told Was told ‘Nothing I can do about it Darling, order separate next time’ Won’t be a next time!

The garlic mayo tasted a bit sweet which was strange and the chicken nuggets could have done with being more crispy. Didn’t get the free bottle of drink for ordering over £36 however the pizza was amazing so definitely will order again, if just for a bunch of pizzas

Food is always delicious from here. Generous amount of sauce given and meat nicely cooked, not charred and burnt. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a kebab!

The chicken wing meal deal came without chips and a drink so we called to ask for them and two staff members were incredibly rude and said this was a mistake on the part of Just Eat and so they would not honour it. Halloumi was tasteless and doner meat insipid and pale.

Food really good like always *however we couldn’t eat the chips for the 3rd time running now (haven’t mentioned /complained before as thought maybe a rare mistake ) — it seems the outer casing has been put into the oven with the chips in and the packaging burnt into the chips and made them Taste like plastic 👎🏻

Food was decent just my order was missing stuff that was listed, the meal said it came with a drink but never recivied it and arrived late.

Was half an hour early, didn’t go to the right street and then decided to not bother delivering it but to deliver someone else’s first despite me phoning the delivery driver back numerous times to be hung up on. Other than the lady who answered the phone the staff were rude when I phoned numerous times to explain the food was freezing cold because the driver had not gone to the correct address and they tried to blame it on them being busy despite my order being half an hour early.. used to be the best kebab shop in the area. Will take my money elsewhere

An hour wait and then another hour late, 2 hours for very average food. Charged £1.50 for cheese in a wrap, no cheese. Refused to give me a refund. If you can't cope with demand on a friday night stop taking orders instead of ruining peoples evening.

Food is always good. 10/10 for my chicken shish.
