I had booked ahead a bit randomly and were so glad we did! It’s away from the busier and more touristy / grotty places on the seafront and in an old port authority building, you feel like you’re on a ship. Wide terrace (sadly was a cold day) and views across the open sea as well as the harbour. Efficient and friendly service, good food and good selection and reasonably priced. Clean toilets too!

Got taken here on Sunday for lunch, the staff were great, lovely little place with great food. The only thing spoiling it was the builder running around in his sons beige tracksuit talking on speakerphone about his diy, no respect for customers wanting to talk and have some peace. Everyone else was brilliant though

We’ve just eaten an absolutely delicious meal from the Greek Arch. Amazing gigantes, brilliant chicken and pork kebabs with all the trimmings followed by yummy baklava. Wish we had such a great Greek restaurant in our neighbourhood!

What a wonderful evening we had. Last minute decision and so very glad we did. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful with menu advice. We tried 3 starters and 3 mains, one a vegan dish for one of our group. All were devoured with lots of contented ahhs. 2.5 hours of wonderful food and conversation and the bill just on 85 pounds in l drinks. Do your self a favour and drop in for a meal.

Needing to put its boast to the test, I was first surprised at the prices, then the range of treats on offer 😊 Flat white and a dark chocolate Tunnock’s Teacake. I cannot testify to other establishments in town, but this was the best coffee I have had in ages. If in the area, take the weight off your feet and rest awhile with a very tasty coffee.

Brilliant service. The staff were very accommodating. We ask if the music could be turned down and they happily did so and also carried my drinks from the bar for me as I use a walker. Staff were polite, happy and helpful. We can for a three course Christmas lunch. The table to set up with a table cloth, runner, holly crackers and Santa hats. I had the tomato soup to start with bread, then the hand carved turkey, which came with roast potatoes, carrots, sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets, stuffing and red wine gravy. And then a Christmas pudding with custard to finish. Only issue really was the Christmas pudding, custard and gravy was cold. Everything else was delicious. And I'm sure they would have heated it up for us if we'd asked. It was only £20.49. so brilliant price for the amount of food you receive. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
