We had looked at breakfast options before visiting and were keen to try The Hive as everything looked so delicious and well presented. I was not disappointed! Tasty food, nicely plated and wonderful friendly service. Took a chocolate muffin away for later, also very yummy!

We went for a family lunch, I ate a bacon chicken and avocado sandwich and salad with a cup of coffee. at first it seemed fine then needed the toilet, twice before I paid, 3 times in the next 20 min. by the next day I was in bed with stomach cramps. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who was very apologetic, he said to email him and he would sort something out to say sorry. No reply, tried the restaurants email address a few times as well - nothing, not even a sorry be careful

Needing to put its boast to the test, I was first surprised at the prices, then the range of treats on offer 😊 Flat white and a dark chocolate Tunnock’s Teacake. I cannot testify to other establishments in town, but this was the best coffee I have had in ages. If in the area, take the weight off your feet and rest awhile with a very tasty coffee.

Reading the other reviews on here I believe I may have just come on a bad day. £7.50 for an incredibly small breakfast sandwich without any sauce with burned bacon, overcooked egg and tough bread. Took them about 25 minutes to get around to serving it while a small Scottish gentleman frantically ran around shouting “2 minutes “ in every direction to just about anyone who would listen. I certainly wouldn’t be recommending this establishment to anyone

I make absolutely no apology for writing another review for the Royal Harbour Brasserie because restaurants evolve and change over time (not always for the good)! The Brasserie, however, is consistently excellent! The menu changes regularly and we enjoy trying different dishes but there are always some fabulous staples. The roasts on Sundays are legendary (as is the Paella - although it was obviously so good this weekend that we missed out today because it sold out last night). We usually opt for one of Alex's delicious cocktails rather than a desert - the Banana Rum is our current favourite! Whilst the lovely young staff change regularly there are always some fabulous, familiar and friendly faces ready to welcome us. Please keep doing what you do guys. Thank you and see you soon.

I had a friend from America visiting the uk for the first time so I wanted her experience of a traditional roast - in a good English pub to be exceptional. I have eaten a lot of roasts out but the Bedford inn was one that had stuck in my mind as very good. We where immediately acknowledged as we walked in and our drinks where taken whilst we waited for our teens to join. Throughout our meal the service was - and our roasts where all cooked to perfection - impeccable and the Americans loved their experience . So this will now always be the pub I choose to take my guests to consistent great food and service. Thank you all and see you soon.
