Union Cafe in Thanet

This lovely cafe, mainly vegan, is a very welcome addition to the eating opportunities in Ramsgate. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there are several options for a vegan lunch - the spinach and chickpea stew and ramen were really delicious - and there are lots of yummy vegan cakes too. It's a popular place with locals, yogis and visitors, creating a cheerful but chilled atmosphere. Just a short walk to the harbour too.

Popped in for drinks this ,erry morn while banking in Ramsgate's town centre. We had a Cortado and an fizzy water. Served quickly and we paid less than £6 Chilled out vibes inside. we were comfy and warm and made to feel welcome.

What a true gem of a cafe! I wandered in whilst on a mini break in Ramsgate. The staff were warm and welcoming to me and my dog! ( even treats provided!) I had a beautiful coconut chai latte. The atmosphere reminded me of a time forgotten, where warm drinks and warm smiles went hand in hand. I also indulged in a carrot muffin so delicious!! I cannot recommend this place more.

Excellent ethical food with such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the yoga is great too. Must try if in ramsgate

Came for a quick coffee but ended up having a yummy turmeric latte, and the counter cakes looked so good I had to try! I’m not vegan but I am dairy free so lots of choice for me! Have been a few times and the food is always incredibly delicious. The staff always friendly. The interior always looks fabulous. The big windows make for great people watching. Becoming a regular for me

We wandered into this warm, inviting, spotless cafe attached to a yoga studio. Glanced at the menu and was so happy to see several options that took our fancy. The dhal was soooo good, like really good! The butter beans equally as delicious and both with the best sourdough we have tasted since arriving in the UK. Do yourself a favour and try this cafe you will not be disappointed!

Very pleasant service. Nice surroundings, vintage China cups, excellent coffee very enjoyable will go again.

Had an amazing vegan granola and coconut yoghurt breakfast here with coffee. Was hard to find somewhere with good vegan options in Ramsgate and really nice coffee. Highly recommend.

Very pared back surroundings and just delish cakes! Ginger (with zingy lemon icing) cake had crystallised (maybe?) chunks of ginger in it. Omg so tasty! Cheese scone was just SO incredibly cheesy with butter they make themselves. Coffee was perfect too. What a surprise find in Ramsgate! My flabber is gasted!

A very calm and relaxing cafe. I had spiced beans with flatbread and kimchi and a lovely coffee. Absolutely devine. The food is now provided by the Sun Club and cooked by Liv. All vegetarian or vegan options. The whole family liked their meals and the cakes were great.
