A fantastic visit again. Every time we've been - including when slammed for summer sunset, and on a very windy/ rainy evening tonight - the welcome has been so warm and kind, and the food outstanding. Perfect fish pie and fish & chips tonight, really unbeatable. Great puds. Lovely cocktails available. The location is fabulous, it's a Ramsgate highlight. We plan our stays around their Thurs-Sat open days! Well done all of you, long may you last x

The issue with the smell mentioned in a previous review has been fixed. We had a nice lunch in the outside area, which is sheltered from northerly wind and has great views over the harbour and the sea. Great fish and chips. Slow service, because of understaffing, though it didn't matter as we weren't in a hurry.

We live locally and there are some fabulous eateries in Ramsgate and Broadstairs but our go to place is always the Royal Harbour Brasserie! In the summer there is a wonderful sunny terrace with amazing views across the sea and inland. In the winter the restaurant interior is fabulously quirky with equally great views. The food is really, really good and I can honestly say that we have never been disappointed with any dish that we have ever been served. The main course portions are substantial so today we opted for a cocktail instead of a sweet - Alex's Mai Tai was fabulous! What really stands out for us is the people - we are always welcomed so warmly! We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

What a wonderful little gem! Views are beautiful the atmosphere is chilled and calm, decor right up my street! Service was great from the very friendly team and the food was really good, you can just tell it's been made with passion from the flavours to the presentation... One thing that blew my mind was the pickled watermelon! That was so unique and absolutely delicious, really looking forward to going back.

We are outside on a beautiful slightly breezy day. The service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a bottle of wine and some sourdough to start. We followed that with dressed crab and fish and chips. The fish and chips were literally the best we have had. The wine was Portuguese and we thought it was particularly good. Hugely recommend this place for its location, the service, the views, and the food.

This place has the potential to be amazing. The food portions are small and the services is average. Simple things of laying out cutlery rather than putting them in a pot would make a difference. Having food menus rather than taking a photo of a board would be good. Venue and atmosphere was great. Overall let down by the food quality, size and the service

Without doubt the worst place I’ve ever eaten in over hundreds of places across the world! Food was served in the least appetising way and with no cutlery ( we had to request it ), the juice was spilt when given to us and not cleaned up by the staff and I’m almost certain they went to a shop nearby to get our starter. Is the view nice? Yes, but you can sit outside for free and enjoy that instead of getting ripped off and eating food that has no discernible flavour other than oil & sugar. This place is absolutely a tourist trap or the locals have very poor taste in food. Also, it’s staffed by children with the exception of two far older people.

We are always on the look out for interesting spots to take shelter and sustenance and they don’t come more quirky and enjoyable than this. The Royal Harbour Brasserie in Ramsgate is so far into the sea can you can almost throw a stone to France, but the menus also includes nods to Spain and even Jamaica. I am in heaven. The smoked fish made a great sharer for starters and we all had to plumb for the halibut with lobster bisque, asparagus and truffle mash, which meant none of us needed to share! Friendly family run spot with honest cooking of locally landed fish and even great tunes. Winner!

Ignore the unattractive outside and the toilets by the entrance, this place has the best views in town. The calm look of the outer harbour and town, or the wavey and wild look of the channel water. Either side is fantastic! The service was excellent. We went for lunch so my halibut was cooked perfectly just a little under-seasoned (you can trick yourself) the crab my mate said was enjoyable. Go for the views, for a drink or for lunch but go. This place deserves a visit.

Wow!! Loved this restaurant as soon as I walked in it's at the end of Ramsgate harbour arm and you take a picture of the menu as you enter from the chalk board. Because the specials change every day depending on whats caught that morning...Yes predominantly menu is seafood and fish but there are also burgers & steak too lots to choose from and a wicked dessert menu if you can squeeze one in sticky toffee was delicious..The Views were amazing especially at sunset going into the evening ask for a window seat was like being abroad looking out across the harbour .This really is one of Ramsgates hidden gems for sure, this is casual dining with a fine dining flare but the dishes are very reasonable, portions are good and we really enjoyed the RHB concept casual dining, with amazing food delivered by a family team to your table. They offer a full bar but unfortunately no cider on draught surprised being in Kent so opted for a G&T. They also have a full cheeky cocktail menu too with all of the favorites all year round and what I loved about this place was the service & athmosphere we also loved Alex one of the chef's who brought some of our dishes out and had a chat what a lovely friendly guy. Great setting for a lovely meal, birthday celebration or wedding venue too and a superb outside seating area which I imagine gets busy when the sun makes an appearance. Overall this was a very memorable meal approx £52 ahead 3 courses and drinks which I think was great value for what we had..Really looking forward to going back in Summer and enjoying those outside views whilst catching some sun.

Booked via the website and followed up by email to confirm they would definitely be serving Sunday dinners at 18:30 on a Sunday. Walked the half mile down the ‘pier’ to the ‘restaurant’ which at first glance looks like some sort of derelict oil rig. On arrival there seemed to be no way into the building.. after trying all doors all the way round upstairs and down, we called them only be told they were ‘closed’. I had a reservation and there was a large neon sign in the window upstairs saying ‘OPEN’?! Needless to say we were very unhappy and the guy on the phone didn’t know what to say. We just left as by this time we were starving and had to find somewhere else to eat. Major disappointment as not only had we been looking forward to it but we had to then walk all the way back and find an alternative restaurant on a Sunday night. Sort your booking system out (there currently isn’t one) and don’t promise something you can’t deliver, won’t be back obviously!

Fantastic food. By far the most special place in Ramsgate. Luxury menu & super reasonable prices. We were actually on holiday I Broadstairs but had to make the journey to Ramsgate for this special resurant. The night we came the owner was running the floor on his own. It was such a busy night and he was still smiling and attentive. Worked his socks off. I ordered a starter of hummus and some tortillas, but they seemed store-bought rather than homemade. The tortillas were old and dry, and they didn't taste great, similar to the atmosphere and decor of the place. The oldest waitress behaved well, but you could tell she was under pressure from the owner. The owner constantly watched over the young staff, who would goof around and playfight when not given something to do by the owner, who also mixed drinks behind the bar. It was hard to ignore the fact that they looked like 14-year-old school children in both mind and body. The daytime view was really nice, but I was worried about the lack of side protection near the water. It would have been easy to fall from a high point into the water. Maybe I just went on a bad day, but the table was unstable and dirty, more sticky than clean. I won't be returning, except perhaps for the view.

The setting is lovely. My visit was with a large group of friends. A fairly early booking in my eyes I thought would have meant a quieter lunch. But no. Big tables meant service was somewhat slow at times. OK to be fair there were a lot of covers, however that needs to be better managed so not everyone arrives near enough at the same time. More importantly, delays in service from taking orders, plating up to service means a long wait in food being presented, as was in this case. Over an hour's wait before food hit the table. Young staff are employed- often they lack common sense which adds to the delay in service. Better training would alleviate this. As for the food, it won't set the world on fire and there are less expensive offerings such as at the Bedford Inn (better quality too) but it was the first day of serving roast dinners again. We will go back in a few weeks once the rush has calmed down, oh and will book at table around 1400 as that was when all the families had left meaning a far quieter restaurant! Still, a valiant effort by the team.

The only negative is it is slightly run-down, but being it's at the end of a jetty, I can see it being difficult to maintain with all the salty air and distance from land. Me & my partner went on a Saturday night here as we so desperately wanted to eat lovely food & to have a new decent restaurant experience that we would gladly come back to again and again. How disappointed & wrong were we! •When we arrived there was a queue of 8 people waiting to pay their bills, all of which who did not look happy. •We were told that we had to wait to be seated. But then after 10mins of waiting they said for us to take a picture of the menu & to sit wherever we liked & someone will be with us shortly. This was when we started getting bad vibes. •I had to call over a waitress 3 times to have our orders taken (the first 2 times being told that somebody would be with us shortly!). •We waited for 45min and observed other customers either: looking lost as no one had acknowledged that they were even there, people being annoyed that their food had arrived before their drinks, people getting their drinks or food before other tables even though they had arrived earlier, people cancelling their orders due to it taking far too long & the general atmosphere of annoyance & disappointment. •Even one of the chefs came out to try & take drinks orders but the manager (if you could call her that), was not directing any of her staff & proceeded to leave a tray of 6 drinks (beers & cocktails) on the bar for a dreary 20mins. This spoke volumes & on what is wrong with this place: a complete lack of communication between staff, no responsibility from the manager & no general restaurant etiquette shown at all. We walked out & got the sense that everybody would be following suit as just before leaving, the chef who was running around like a headless chicken with a builders bum on show to boot, was receiving complaints from a table of women who were complaining of the bad service. Until these core & key issues are addressed and sorted out, for the love of god DON’T waste your evening banking on a lovely restaurant experience here. It wasn’t a restaurant. It was simply a room with lovely views with members of staff having no idea or clue on how to give customers a truly lovely restaurant experience! It’s a real shame. From the words of the Nike advert with an added word in the middle: Just DON’T do it!

We had a wonderful meal at the Brasserie and can't wait to be back. The mussels were stunning and the swordfish was delicious too. The restaurant was super busy due to it being one of the hottest days this summer, but the staff was incredibly nice and apologetic, and even added a couple of extra touches to our dishes to make up for the slower than usual service (thank you for the extra lobster bisque!). Our best meal in town by far.

What a find! Absolutely stunning. A great vibe, decor fabulous, service on point. Lovely views when sitting overlooking the sea. Lots of little things to look at around the venue, from a light up big wheel to sea shells no doubt from The beach across the road. Menus was good, reasonably priced and we were more the happy to pay. You can pop in for drink or eat too! Well done Pearly Cow at No. 42

I called in tonight for refreshments before my ship docked, I was met with a lovely smiling face, I didn’t quite catch her name, may of been dianne? A well travelled lady with a small dog we sat and chatted for a while and made me feel so welcome Thank you Andy the bear hunter

Great "local" pub. Still my local despite moving a couple of miles away. Great parking & large garden for the summer. Friendly staff & patrons. Great place for a pint after work or night out. And a huge plus is that the pub is dog friendly.

Arrived with a family group of seven without notice. The staff moved tables so we could eat together and took our individual orders rather than have to order at the counter as per their usual practice. We ordered several different versions of brunch meals with extras, swaps and drinks. The food came very quickly given our numbers and varied order but was really hot, well cooked and completely correct. I expected the usual cheap sausages but was pleasantly surprised when they had a nice Lincolnshire flavour. We were all very pleased with our meals and the service. Overall, a clean budget cafe with a varied menu and good staff - well worth a visit
