SapSap Eat Thai Restaurant in Thanet

Disappointed on our Groupon purchase 3 course only got 2, not much explanation why and was particularly looking forward to the desert as I am a desert person. So ruined our night for 4 people

I can’t begin to describe how amazing this place is. I have been several times and it never let down. I adore this place. I always have chicken satay (the sauce is heavenly) for starters and beef pad Thai for main (fantastic). The lady who always serves us is a delight - always greeting us with a smile and being very friendly. The best Thai food in Britain - that’s not an exaggeration.

Shame they couldn't understand clearly what we wanted when we ordered. I ordered very spicy but my friends also for their meals the same as mine. So it was not enjoyable for them. We were supposed to get a three course meal but only had two courses

Lovely meal, lovely people. Booked through Groupon, very good price. Food was delightful, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was very warm and friendly. But I do have to mention that although we had booked for 6.00, when we arrived, the door was locked. Luckily, another customer had the phone number and alerted the restaurant that we were outside but could not get in. Came down immediately, very apologetic. No drinks available, you had to go down to the bar which was shut when we arrived so very thirsty until we heard that the bar was now open. No dessert which was not explained to us until we asked for it (our deal with Groupon was for three courses plus rice) but had been given bigger portions to make up for lack of dessert - said next time we went, dessert would be offered. They are so lovely and the food so tasty (the coconut rice was superb) it would have been difficult to complain. This is a hidden gem and well worth a visit but get a contact number, just in case.

I tried three times to book here after purchasing a groupon voucher. Each time they cancelled and had a different excuse as to why. As I had booked through groupon I couldn’t even get a refund as they believed I had already attended the restaurant! The food may well be good but one to avoid due to reliability and let downs!

The food and service was excellent & very friendly price as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant 👍👍

I have eaten in probably every Thai restaurant in Ramsgate when I came across this little gem call Sapsap Eat Thai. Its basically a pop up restaurant operated from within the Queen Charlotte pub in Ramsgate. Wow wow wow this food is on a different level. The presentation was exquisite and the taste was so so fresh and unbelievable. Its very rare that I get so excited about food but my word this has to be tasted to be believed
