This is the worst hotel, it false advertisement of what it looks like. There was blood on the walls, shower/bath has so much lime scale and mould. You have to go into a pub with loads of locals swearing to book in. The hotel reception has a sign on the window saying call this number to get in. No one answers the phone. When was just given our key and not told anything else, this was in the pub. Not like breakfast is there between whatever time. Pillows were rank, flat as a pancake, Avoid at all costs.

Great service but outside said last orders 2.30 pm we arrived at 2.15 to discover they stop cooking at 2.10. Had a cuppa though. Would have given more stars if actually able to get food. If times outside were clearer we wouldn’t have stopped and been disappointed …

Been there a few times over the past couple of months at lunchtime and in the evenings. When ordering the gammon it's a good meal. When ordering steaks it's been hit and miss. Previously ordered a medium to well steak, it came out almost rare. Last night I ordered medium to well, it came out very well done and bone dry. Cheesy chips were not hot and yep, grated cheddar sprinkled over the top won't melt if the food under it is under temp. Peas cold, mushrooms tiny, shrivelled and barely warm. Plate was red hot so that had been sat on a hot maison place for too long. Deserts were great once the 20 minute wait for the dinner plates were eventually taken away. Why do I keep going back? Only because we have a 20% off voucher to use each time. Chef either needs help, training or advise and guidance. In the past I was a qualified chef and a restaurant manager so I don't feel bad writing any of this. Some of the staff delivering food and drinks need a tidy up as well. Look like they just got up from the couch including the one who appears to be in charge.

Came here for my parents anniversary as my dad has coeliac disease. The food was so tasty! The setting is beautiful and the choice on the menu was great. But it’s the staff that make it! They decorated the table for us, which looked fab, and when two of our party were delayed they were really accommodating. All I can say is thank you so much and I’m so glad we chose to come, and recommend the pub to everyone!

I was surprised by the prices. Egg and ham was for £16. Then I was surprised by the quality of the food. I can pay that much if the food is as good as there. What I didn't like was sitting area outside. Concrete everywhere no plants or flowers and sits was semi comfortable. Inside looks much better.

Beautiful location right next to riverside and very quiet area at least now not sure in summer. Lovely pub with beer and serving Mexican food. Really enjoyed my time sitting out by the riverside that's used to be the main port for Faversham for centuries. Thought every thing was good apart from service. You can stand in front of bar and staff completely ignore you even they are standing behind the bar and doing nothing. I don’t know its their tradition or lack of service knowledge. Food was good but the prices were bit over high.

The Amy Winehouse night on Wednesday was superb! The food, service, entertainment, atmosphere and ambience was 10 out of 10! Well done to The White House!

Well cooked with flavour & tenderness, marinated meats were amazing. Came with a party of 11 on Saturday 1st March. Quite pricey, the starters were all a tenner and some of the mains were over £60 for 2 sharing. The emphasis on the dishes is for sharing (apart from a small number of dishes for 1 person) when you come here. The milkshakes are delicious too. Nice ambience and a very trendy place.

Great pub . Clean toilets. Helpful staff 👌. Food delicious. Will definitely go again generous helpings. Landlord and land lady very welcoming

Hubby really enjoyed his ham egg and chips, pleasant venue reasonable prices. Friendly staff, helpful and courteous.
