Good place as offer gluten free and also gluten free puddings which are fab choice

Family friendly, welcoming! Accommodates a large party. Food was delicious and prompt.

2 out of the 3 meals we ordered were incorrect, and the food wasn't great. Won't be going back.

It was quite busy but the food was amazing and waitress was fantastic, she could not do enough to help. We will definitely use again and would highly recommend them.

Very good food service and friendly staff

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The table required wiping down, and the cutlery was dirty. They had run out of roast beef. The menu offered a good variety of courses. However, placing a table outside by the main door with an ashtray on it did not leave a good first impression. Additionally, my elderly father had to walk through a cloud of vape, which is inconsiderate. As a smoker myself, I would never stand by the main entrance smoking while people are coming in and out.

Son's birthday, family went out for a nice meal. Very enjoyable, food good as usual.

Lovely food and staff, Jez behind the bar was lovely and helped out when we forgot to order peppercorn sauce and asked the kitchen to push it through. Onion rings were abit burnt and overly crispy. Windows were left open in Late October and did get abit cold. Solid 9/10

Today we enjoyed lunch at the Jenny Wren and to say that we're treated to a gastronomic experience to rival any. from the start of our visit with the most welcoming welcome that really put us at ease. we ordered a pint of pedigree and a glass of chardonnay which was perfect in every way. we then ordered our lunch of BBQ pizza and a side of loaded fries. when the food was delivered and eaten we were so taken aback by the quality and presentation we had to find out who had prepared this gastronomic delight and it was no surprise to find out it was the Queen of pizza's Mary. we watched in amazement as she tossed the pizza dough in the air spinning it around her head with the greatest of ease and slamming it down on the counter and applying the toppings, with the flick of her wrist the pizza was in the oven 5 minutes later pizza perfection what a master class in pizza preparation. Thank you your highness for a truly wonderful lunch.

My mum has Dementia and is in a home nearby and we come here once a week. All the staff are lovely and so friendly. The atmosphere is alway fabulous 👌

Thankyou nick Lee ash ( chef ) beautifully cooked stake I am so fussy and my plate was empty . To the point I even eat the small amount of fat . I have been to so many restraunts where I've sent the meal back but today exceptional. And Maddie was so pleasent great customer care Thankyou

Crappy Marston experience with boring carbon copy menu. Used to have vege alts of its items like vege lasagne or even a vege tikka masala, but now it's all meat with a very limited boring vege option, ie vege burger. Curry is just a Thai curry that can have prawns or meat added. That's not the same ffs. There's no thought or care to cater for vegetarians. Ps, why have the TV on with no sound if there no subtitles either. Pointless.

I recently visited Jenny Wren and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff are not only incredibly friendly, but they go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. Food was great, will definitely be returning.

Had my father-in-laws wake here. We catered for 20 people and there was absolutely loads of food all of which was delicious. They gave us boxes to take the left overs home. Staff were all lovely as well.

Very enjoyed meal for family of three yesterday the roasts was amazing pipping hot & the chicken burger meal was awesome as my son said. First time having a Roast dinner here & we will be back. 5* all round for the Jenny Wren Thank you.

The Jenny Wren is a lovely family pub in the heart of the community and loved by many. You are always made to feel very welcome with a good atmosphere with friendly staff who are always willing to go that bit extra.

I pop in while I wait for the little one to finish nursery each week, Liane is always really helpful and welcoming.

We went for my partners 40th birthday. The staff were very accommodating in putting up decorations for us and made the booth look special. My partners was very happy with it all, also the food and drink were very good.

Everyone at the Jenny Wren is lovely and helpful. All very chatty and friendly and make it such an enjoyable place to go. Karen and Nick are always friendly and have a chat. Grace, Ivana and Katie N brung over our food as it was a big table. They ensured we had everything we needed and were happy. We were served on the bar by Jordan, Maddie and Jez. All very friendly and recommend cocktails. Previous visits I was served by Maddie, Kelly, Katie G, Liane and Gemma, again very helpful. The kitchen team always provide delicious hot meals, thank you Kimmy, Owen, Rob, Ash, Lee and Mary.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised,the food was tasty and hot and all brought to us with a smile. Special thanks to Kelly for being so welcoming and attentive. Definitely would recommend .

So over all I would give a 2 star simply because it was the first time I had visited, and who knows what's going on out of view. So we paid £29 for two Hot dogs and some Onion rings, and after 40 minutes of waiting decided we had to leave. Out of decency my partner told the waitress not to bother bringing out our order, no refund was offered, but yeah okay everyone needs to make a living. Some people may say that it's simply a family orientated cheap and cheerful, but we also paid £14 for a pint of draught Pepsi and a red wine. So come on Jenny Wren, make your mind up, and decide exactly who you are catering for.

Average but value for money with a voucher. Needs a clean in certain areas like very sticky tables

You order at the bar or using the QR code at your table. It is quite busy and difficult to get parking at a weekend, but the food is very nice.

This was a horrible place the food was okay however they brought us the wrong food that we ordered staff was rude and judgy. Will not be going again

We have visited our local quite a few times and the food has improved massively since the new menu came in. Went for lunch the other day and has the steak baguette which was bloody lovely. Staff are friendly and the pints are nice.

I regularly visit the Jenny Wren as I live close by, and it's always and easy no issues place for a quick bite at cheap prices and few drinks. What really makes it a welcoming place to visit is the staff, especially Kelly whoose always cheerful friendly and helpful, with a welcoming smile.

Unfortunately wasn’t a good visit last night! We normally love coming to the Jenny wren, and will drive past the local marstons to come here! However, last night was awful, service, food, drink the lot. Drinks served after 30 minutes, food expensive and lacking now. Plus, we had about 4 dogs in our area just laying next to us! We love dogs but not whilst we are eating! One was climbing on the table the lot! Didn’t realise it’s now dog friendly and put us right off. Service was slow, and unhelpful. Ended up taking the daughter’s cake back and going.

We are regular visitors to this pub and always receive the same great service with food and drinks, Karen is amazing and always delivers, Charlie is very happy and welcomes us every time, can’t tell you how friendly they all are!! Keep up the good work guys.

As you walk in the staff are so friendly, Gem, Collette, Maddie, Jez, Katie, Charleigh, Jordan (Sweetcheecks). The chefs, Big Ash, Owen, Rob, Mary, Kimmy never disappoint with the delicious meals on offer. Grace and Katie are young and energetic. Dog friendly boozer as well. Lovely big beer garden with the sun all day. Friendly atmosphere with kids being entertained either by the screens or the playground. A massive selection of drinks and food for even the fussiest of people. Karen keeps everyone happy and Nick loves to talk about football even if the team he supports isn’t that good!!
