We stayed in the camper for a night great food a staff was very welcoming and friendly we will definitely return. Thanks again to all the staff

A bit hidden behind hedges, easy to miss. Parking is gravel, but firm-ish. Motorcycles could use a foot or pad for side-stand. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Food good, and prices are acceptable. Tea & coffee lovely. All round a nice dropin Cafe.

The Owl is a pretentious disaster with its ridiculous ‘no babies’ policy. Families beware: they’d rather you starve than let your kid coo. Loud drunks? Fine. A baby? Unacceptable. Hypocritical, soulless, and awful. Zero stars.

I’m relieved to see this establishment has closed its doors. My experience there was one of the worst I've ever encountered, especially considering I live in the area and never expected to face such blatant racism in my own community. The owners, Jimmy and Carol, were never friendly right from the start, and it's astonishing that they managed to operate this restaurant for so long. I had often walked past it without giving it much thought, but this time I was with a few friends and thought we would give it a try. Unfortunately, the way we were treated was nothing short of appalling. We stood in the middle of the dining area for at least 15 minutes without even a greeting. It’s hard to believe they could miss us, as there were four of us waiting. The waitstaff glanced at us several times but never made the effort to approach. I can’t help but wonder if our Asian descent played a role in their indifference. Despite the available seating, we chose to wait out of respect. I sincerely hope they never reopen a restaurant. If they do, I hope they learn a valuable lesson in customer service.

Had a lovely evening at William the Conqueror at Rye Harbour The Greek Mezze was 18 dishes and fabulous Each dish was different with lots of flavour The pub was buzzing and the staff were really helpful and friendly. This is a monthly event and will be returning Would recommend a visit if you get the chance

I’m down on holiday and eaten here TWICE! It’s that good. I recommend the Dansak and the naan was delicious as was the sag aloo - lovely mint sauce and dips and fresh crispy poppadums. It’s a small restaurant but better than many larger ones . Friendly staff and good value - top marks 😃

To be honest I had no real idea of what The Bell would be like when I booked it. The location was convenient for a function we were attending elsewhere. What a revelation, this place is amazing. You have to consider that the "project " is ongoing, but this doesn't impact on anything. The standards are great. Service, welcome and the whole experience was amazing. While entering the bedroom, the standard of which it had been decorated and furnished to was just way above what you could have expected. Only down side was that we were only staying the one night.

Very good mid week eater or special occasion. Food very fresh, friendly people. Prices amazingly good value for money. Will eat here more often. Thankyou Khanz

Superb little pub with great food and service with a smile. Landlady went the extra mile and chased me down the road to bring a bag I had left behind. Their butchers shop is awesome also. Romney marsh lamb chops are to die for. Excellent place.

Whenever I’m in the area, a quick stop here is SO worthwhile. The food is beautiful, tasty and freshly prepared and certainly sorts out those tummy rumbles The staff couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. Choose between being inside or in one of the amazing pods in the garden Definitely worth popping in for

Lovely welcome, the cream tea is delicious here, scones are warm and moist served with lots of cream and homemade jam, good service in a lovely surrounding.
