Was in reading for the night and as it got later, my friends filed home so I decided to head here on my own for the Karaoke. I was late to the party so only got one song but the atmosphere was electric and the people were really friendly Fantastic night and well worth a visit!

I was full to bursting after the tasty sharing platter for two to start followed by Chicken Yellow Curry with jasmine rice. Delicious, plentiful and good value; service friendly and fast, despite it being peak time on a Friday night. Can’t fault the experience.

The place is very pleasant, food is good but they have an illogical policy on breakfasts. The big lounge breakfast comes with 3 hash browns, they won’t despite doing this on other occasions change this for one extra egg, claiming they can only do this for extra veg. This policy makes no sense and will be the reason why I will not return after my visit today. Update: True to their word they have changed this policy. Thank you, you have retained me as a customer ongoing. I have changed this review to a 5 star.

This pub is a reverse TARDIS: small on the inside, massive on the outside! The sun soaked beer garden is the best I've been to in Reading, and the food is amazing. However, unfortunately their selection of ciders is lacking, which is why I can't rate 5 stars. Definitely would recommend though.

Wings Fish and chips Caversham is a classic dish with a satisfying combination of crispy batter-coated fish and golden fries. The key to a great experience lies in the freshness of the fish and the perfect crunch of the fries. A well-balanced seasoning, along with a side of tartar sauce, enhances the overall flavour. The success of this dish often depends on the quality of the ingredients and skilful preparation. The bad thing is that the shop does not accept card payments. Cash ony. I think when it's hard to keep hard cash shop need to change thier policy and must have card machine. Apart from that food items are very good. Thanks for the fresh hot 🔥 fish and chips 🍟

Great cafe with excellent perfectly made coffee. Bacon sandwich which was excellent made with freshly toasted bread and traditional bacon that tasted so good. They have a great looking menu for later in the day. Freshly baked bread and pastries looked great. I would come back here

We recently visited Bina Tandoori and came away with mixed feelings. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a wide range of options, including plenty of vegetarian dishes. The naan was definitely a highlight. However, we found the overall dining experience a bit underwhelming. The food was fine but we felt many of the dishes lacked the depth and boldness of flavour we were hoping for. It's possible we just ordered the wrong things? The atmosphere was perhaps the most puzzling part. The restaurant seems to be going for a fine dining feel with white tablecloths, but this clashes with other elements like laminated posters in the window, neon lighting, and a decorative waterfall. The loud Indian club-style music (on a Saturday night, to be fair) added to the sensory overload and didn’t quite match the sit-down dinner vibe. It all felt a bit confused, style-wise. There are some good elements here, and with a bit more cohesion in the food and ambience, it could be a great spot. As it stands, though, we found the experience a little baffling. We might try the Sunday buffet some time because the prices are competitive.
