Good food, always quick and staff very nice

Having lived in HK for 30 years I used to love how authentic GoSing food was...sadly I think there is a new chef as our last two orders have been really poor. I won't be ordering from them again!

Good food, nice people, food ready quickly and was hot when we got home.

Visit here regularly: hors d’oeuvres , chicken in black bean sauce, prawn mushroom and bamboo shoots, sweet and sours, are all faves and not had a problem with ordering or consuming any of other the food! Liking the environmentally friendly containers too. Staff v friendly and smiley.

This is the second time in the past 4 weeks that I received the wrong order after phoning the restaurant to order takeaway king prawn satay chow win. Received king prawn chow neon instead which just tastes salty. Waste of money on both occasions now. There’s a member of staff who does not understand English well when taking the order….. used to be a regular favourite but the food quality isn’t as good over past few months either.

Outstanding! I have been ordering from Go Sing for almost 25 years. Our family loves their Chinese food. No other Chinese restaurant in Reading compares. Thank you!

We’ve been going to Go Sing since 2007 because good quality food…but tonight the Pork balls were gristle in them for the first time…not good 💁🏻‍♀️

There was nothing good about the food we ordered! Most of it was pre bought frozen rubbish. Sweet and sour pork balls were so hard you couldn’t bite in to the meat. Sloppy, disappointing and AVOID

So so rude over the phone and the man that delivered the food, wanted there bag back that the food was in and asked for 10p. Because didn't give it back the man got nasty told me not to order again and throw the ricipt in my front garden!!!

Salt and pepper chilli squid was dry and inedible. The crispy chilli beef contained no beef and was thin strips of batter. The 1/4 duck was dry and cold. First time of trying and won't be doing it again.

Just had a delivery and the chicken balls were so greasy that they were inedible. Phoned to complain and let them know. The response from them is that is how there are always made, which really is not true as the food is normally top quality. There was no reasoning with them and were happy to loose us as customers. We have been using them for over 5 years. Terrible service and attitude. Will never use them again. Thank goodness there are other great Chinese takeaways in caversham.

Great food. Our go-to takeaway for Chinese in Caversham. Duck and mixed starters are always excellent. Would recommend going for collection as that is very speedy whereas delivery took an hour but food was still warm when it arrived.

Fast preparation, great service, good quality and large portion sizes. What’s not to like! Would recommend highly!

The HK Style Sweet and Sour Pork was spot on authentic. I suspect all the HK Style dishes would be the same. The five star scores on the door is very reassuring.

Not impressed with the salt and pepper squid but it was ok. The cherry on the top when I found a bug in my chow mein. Not impressed to say the least. My husband did not finish his dinner after we discovered the bug. Not recommended, will not be returning.

Not often I have a Chinese takeaway but may well do again as this was superb. King prawn fried rice and Chicken chop suey really good as was the shrimp satay. Even had enough left over for breakfast! Will try again.

Consistently good. Delivery is fast except at peak times when this is to be expected. Cash only though so have your money to hand!

This has to be the single worst take away we’ve ever had!! The food was not greasy (which is what people told us and why we forced to try it out) BUT it lacked any flavour, nothing fresh about it. I actually cannot believe anyone can make good tasting his bland and awful!! So so disappointed and ended up throwing 2/3 of it away! It was a take away and we didn’t want to go back with it, just more hassle! Will never use them again! Really, really bad!! Wanted to email them directly but other than phone can’t find a way to feed back to them!!

Go Sing always offer prompt service and their food is never full of additives or overstated. We are so pleased this is our local takeaway. Prices are not the lowest but worth the money.

Lady behind the counter is a delight - always remembers your order and is lovely and chatty. I like the food - it is tasty and when heading back to Henley it has usually cooled to a palatable temperature when me and the other arrive home. The biggest recommendation is that the other likes the food - fussy person that she is.

Worst bbq ribs we've ever had. Ended up throwing them away. The rest was just ok. Disappointing especially after having read the rave reviews. We won't go back.

It's the best Chinese takeaway I know, and one that consistently delivers amazing food. My wife and I have been ordering from Go Sing for years and wouldn't go anywhere else - everything tastes fresh and doesn't have that excessively greasy, salty taste that some Chinese meals have. There's plenty of fresh veg, the portions are generous and they've never made a mistake with our order in the many dozens of times we've used them. It's a shame they only take cash but that's a minor issue and shouldn't put you off.

Freshly cooked, quality ingredients and with no msg. My first choice every time. Take away only, cash only and parking can be a challenge but there’s always Waitrose car park.

We have been going to Go Sing for years food is excellent - tasty, good portions and good quality... only negative's are the price and cash only! It is a bit expensive compared to others in the area and not accepting card payments is annoying, although doesn't stop me going there!

As someone that lived for 2 years in mainland China and has run back and forth to China and Hong Kong for a number of years can say this place is as close as you will get without leaving Caversham. FOOD is excellent and very good value for money.

Really needed a Chinese takeaway, yet hadn't had one in Reading before.

Ordered chop suey with mixed vegetables, plain rice and vegetable spring rolls. Worst chop suey I have ever had. Sauce tasted of tomato puree only, no hint of any green vegetable whatsoever, carrots tasted terrible together with tomato puree sauce. Plain rice is always a little bland but this one tasted was even blander. :( It's a no from me.

Haven't used Go Sing for very long but it's the best change we have done! Every dish we have tried has been so good I would definitely recommend this to everyone 🙂

This is the best takeaway for Chinese food in and around Henley on Thames it is 10 minutes down the road but well worth it

We have been using Go Sing for a couple of years now and love their food. The flavour is great, they deliver on time, they are organised on the phone. Special favourites are - crispy duck and pancakes, crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour Hong Kong prawns and the mushroom chow mein is delicious too. Go Sing every time.

Love this takeaway, order from here regularly. Our favourites are the szechuan noodles and the duck pancakes. Food is always ready very quickly and great quality.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our food with regard to the shredded chicken fried rice meal,we shredded chicken from the leg so sometime the colour is slightly darker,our food is always freshy cooked,Due to the very cold weather,we will try our once again Thank you for your opinion Frome Go sing😘😘😘

Worst Chinese I've ever eaten. Food was cold and the chicken was not fresh. I literally had to pick all the chicken out of the rice as it was black. No taste to the other food and rice was disgusting. Waste of £33!!!!!

Been using Go Sing for years and still the best chinese takeaway I have ever eaten. Will always use as my go to first choice. Only critisism is that when phoning in order it was more than anticipated as they have put the prices up but not updated their website. Still didn't spoil my enjoyment of meal.

Have used Go Sing for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Always great, tasty food and efficient service. Have used the delivery service for our last couple of orders and it's always arrived quicker than estimated wait time. Can't fault it.

Food is just the best in reading so many lovely flavours order at least once a week and travel to collect as I would go anywhere else lovely staff and deliver drive I wouldn't definitely recommend them to any it would be amazing if they had a restaurant to eat in too
