The best restaurants in Isle of Wight South East

Arrived towards the end of light after a day's walking around the island. The pubs is almost a like a little house on the suburban corner, but with the lights and signs you can't miss it although it is a bit further out of Ryde than we would have usually have walked to. The barman was friendly and soon had our thirsts on the way to being quenched. Sort of front bar/back bar type of set up with plenty of room to move. There is also a substantial outdoor are out the back - must be fantastic in summer! Nice friendly locals mad the trip complete. They didn't have ales on draught when we were there, but the Guinness was wonderful

Thank you for letting us have my Dad's Wake at GG's. The space was ideal for adults and children and the staff were very accommodating. Would highly recommend for any function.

Right on the beach. Lovely food and drink and vert well priced for it's prime location in Sandown! Well worth a visit indeed!

Afternoon Tea at luccombe Manor was everything we expected and more. Lots of sandwiches and cake, very fresh and filling.

Nice Levazza coffee on the go whilst walking to Cowes. Friendly service. No complaints whatsoever. Stop by.

Nice pub, not too fancy, food was traditional pub grub with a few specials.

The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and well presented. Decent menu options and also some great daily specials. Wish we could have stayed longer to return for another meal. Will return again on future IOW visits. Staff very friendly and helpful.

An enjoyable lunchtime visit: the steak and onion ciabatta was delicious, as was the ale from the Carlisle Brewing Co (the bar is Cask Marque accredited). The service was friendly and helpful. Easy to reach on the 516 bus route.

We arrived fairly late, close to the food cut-off but were welcomed warmly and ordering food was fine. I had the Chicken, Bacon and veg pie, lovely and my better half had the Roast dinner. Good choice of meats available with veggies. Nice home cooked food. She said it was also lovely. Nice selection of beers/ales as well. Since it been under it's new (ish) owners, many improvements have been made. No hesitation in recommending.

Visited here this evening for the first time I was served my food in 2 minutes got home and it was still hot and very very nice Thank you..I thought getting hot and tasty takeaway food on this island was a myth but you changed my mind 😀

Visiting my daughter and son-in-law (Tom) we decided to have a takeaway from Jaffran's. As usual we were not disappointed...it was very tasty,hot. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend this curry house.

Fab food tasted delicious. Lovely friendly staff super helpful . Would highly recommend a visit .
