Afternoon Tea at luccombe Manor was everything we expected and more. Lots of sandwiches and cake, very fresh and filling.

Lovely afternoon tea at Broad Oak. Sat outside in the sunshine . Lots of food both sweet and savoury and the variety was amazing . Staff were really nice and welcoming

I was given a voucher for afternoon tea for two at this lovely hotel in Shankin. Afternoon tea consisted of sandwiches (on super fresh bread) and scones with clotted cream and jam. All absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! Dogs are allowed in one of the dinning rooms and staff make a fuss of them, ours was given a sausage so he enjoyed the afternoon tea too 😀

Alojándose en el hotel. Buen aperitivo almuerzo a un precio razonable, cuando no pudimos conseguir los niños grand lejos de la piscina.

Muy caro. Muy pasado de moda. No té suficiente. Usted debería ser capaz de mantener tener mejores ups. La variedad de sándwiches era limitado.

We think everyone must enjoy a cream tea and this was no exception. The fruited scones were very good, fresh cream and strawberry jam - we ate the lot!

Spoil yourself with a Ritz-like afternoon tea in the Conservatory overlooking the Solent. If you like sandwiches without crusts, fancies, fresh scones with lashings of jam and cream and unlimited pots of tea, what are you waiting for. Go to Luccombe Manor Hotel on a Sunday afternoon!

The food was presented as well as any top rated restaurant. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would reccomend this

OMG! Great cream tea and other scrummy things. Well worth a stop off as you walk Shanklin to Ventnor or a special visit for a relaxing treat.

The tea garden has the most amazing views you could wish for over the bay to Culver Cliffs. The afternoon tea is great, with generous warm scones, lashings of clotted cream and jam, and the bonus of sliced strawberries too. Lovely! Don't miss it!

We had complementary vouchers for cream teas as we were staying in Luccombe Manor Hotel and had to wait an hour for it to arrive! Fortunately it was a lovely hot day and the views across the bay of the round the island yacht race kept us entertained! The cream tea was very good but some may have found the wait too much. For info the tea rooms are no longer managed by the hotel.

Situated on the cliff so marvellous views of the sea, and at the bottom of the hotel garden. Good cream tea but as the seats/tables were outside not much good in wet weather!

Very nice looking out over the bay, with our cake and scones. I think the staff took a shine to us, or pity, thought we looked under nourished. Not everyone gets both!! And eats it all!!

We shared, savoury cheese and pickle and jam and cream. Beautiful warm large scones and plenty of filling, absolutely delicious. The coffee wasn't the best I've had but would definitely have again but choose tea, but would certainly recommend the scones and I always have them at least once on every trip away. mmmm

The location of these tea rooms is good under the trees on the cliff overlooking the sea. However it is just a hut. We had better afternoon teas in other tea rooms.

Having afternoon tea on the lawn looking out to sea was an absolute delight. My only criticism was the lack of signage and so finding it was a bit tricky.

Booked in with friends for afternoon cream tea.Served with cold tea, supermarket scones, insipid cream and frozen butter (which was only supplied on request!) A small posy of flowers on each table would have shown a little finesse but, sadly, no such thought here. Shan't be going back.

We have been here many times over the years and looked forward to our visit again this year. What a disappointment. We had a cream tea which consisted of a pot of tea, 2 scones, butter, cream and jam. The jam and cream pots were half the size they used to be and the butter was barely there, adequate enough for one scone but certainly not two. The jug of milk supplied did not have enough milk for one cup of tea and we had to ask for extra. I do not drink tea and asked for my tea to be substituted with coffee, big mistake, it was undrinkable. Went we went to pay we were told 'cash only' and I was lucky to find some cash in the bottom of my bag. This should be made clear when you enter and before you order as a lot of people do not carry cash. Our experience was so different to every other visit we wondered if there were 'new owners' but overheard the owner telling other visitors that she had been there 17 years. Sadly will not be returning.

I can't comment on the Rooms because we didn't stay overnight, we just met other business partners for a Christmas Lunch.....This is where it failed to deliver! Christmas lunch on the 'Specials Board' was either a Baguette with pigs in blankets and a salad or Turkey and Cranbury sauce which should have been called Cranbury Sauce with a few bits of Turkey. I didn't fancy paying £14 for this so had a cheeseburger & chips. My wife went for the Cranbury Baguette specifically asked for No Crabury (it was full of Cranbury). My cheeseburger was dry (well overheated in the microwave no doubt) and my cheese arrived 10 minutes after I'd started (a slab melted onto a plate). I also asked that the Brioch bun was seadless as i cant eat anything with seeds, it was covered in seeds. A colleagues burger was equally as bad though hers was served with the cheese at the same time so a small bonus. Everyone waited ages for the food and everyone was equally unimpressed with the menu choices and the quality of the food. Because we waited so long for the food I couldn't be bothered to ask for a seed free bun and my wife didn't want to ask for a Cranbury free Turkey Baguette and we just wanted to eat and get out of there. This was pre booked but not by us and it wouldn't be a choice venue, certainly won't be in the future. I don't like being negative but this is an honest review. We were looking forward to a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, sadly this was the wrong place to go for a dinner.

This place is famous for its views across the Solent, but only in the summer. In the winter the windows are always steamed up giving you near to no visibility outside. We didn’t eat but the menu looks good and average prices for the area. Drinks were more expensive than the Seaview Hotel just around the corner. +£1 per drink on gin & tonic. It was November on a Friday evening and all tables were reserved. We did sit at one of their best tables for our drink ‘Captain Ted’s Table’ and it was wobbly as hell. Felt like it was going to give way at any time. Come on this is an easy fix.
