Stopped off at this little gem while our car was being fixed at Nissan. This place is truly a treasure. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We a smoothie, 2 shakes which were very nice. My daughter had some garlic and chorizo prawns with a side of chips. The quality of the food and drinks was 5 stars. We will definitely make the drive down again and it's only 25 minutes from Newquay. This has become our new favourite place to eat.
My husband booked a surprise lunch for me for a Mother's Day treat. We visited 29.3.25 with our daughter.
From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we were looked after by a warm friendly welcoming team. I didn't get the name of our waitress but she was a delight and so attentive.
We've been to both Smoking Lobsters before and the food was fantastic. Our lunch yesterday was exceptional; the flavours were complete melt in your mouth close your eyes joy! From the Japanese milk bread to the gurnard with red Thai sauce to the robata steak and pecan tart, everything I ate was sublime. The high level of skill of the chef and his team was evident in every dish.
Martini cocktail 👌
We will be returning!
What a fantastic little find this cafe was and so close to the ferry port, we stopped in for something to eat and it was such a lovely place the owners were all smiles and happy to help with anything, my husband was after a panini but they don't do them he went with a wrap instead and he was asked if he would like that toasted which was nice of them to ask, my son had a sausage baguette and was so shocked at all the meat in it (most places don't give you a decent amount) to which he happily tucked into, I had a jacket potato with beans and having a dairy intolerance they offered me the dairy free alternative to the usual butter I also had a tea with oat milk and the husband had a coffee, our youngest son had a cheese sandwich which he didn't eat but that's because he saw chocolate biscuits his favourite biscuits to be fair again no drama as we asked for it to be wrapped so we could take it with us (he ate it in the car while waiting for the ferry), Vic and Dan are amazing and I would definitely recommend this little cafe there prices are fair and you get a decent amount of food as well, if we do return to isle of wight for a holiday again we will definitely be back.
We came to visit the isle of white over the bank holiday week as the weather was so lovely and searched the cafes we wanted to visit prior to our trip. Lilly’s did not disappoint on the cake front!! They had a good variety even on a super busy day and they were delicious. The wait time was a little while but due to the amount of customers they had we didn’t mind and took our takeaway to have by the seafront (cake with a view) great customer service throughout and nice music.
The variation in quality makes it hard to give 5*. Normally the meal is scrumptious but today it was all overcooked, I suspect chips were cooked again.
We often order from here for delivery, never had any complaints, the delivery times given are real and the food is of a high standard, I just wish they would do Yuk Sung, that would be amazing. Always very friendly and polite on the phone too. I would definitely recommend.
Really impressed with this place, great deal on cocktails from 4 to 7pm 2 for 1 cocktails, I had jungle juice and long island ice tea both were lovley. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice & beans, the chicken was two big leg's and it was juicy and tender, the sauce had a mild kick not to spicy and really flavourful, decent portion size filled my boots. Great service too very friendly. Would definitely recommend on an evening out!

Great oven baked pizzas! I got to try a new vegetarian pizza and can really recommend it (i.a. artichoke, pine nuts, sultanas). The owner and pizza baker is also super kind.
I don't normally leave reviews but feel I must do here. This is an awesome little cafe with the most accommodating staff you could wish for. If you're passing by, stop off for a full English. You won't be disappointed.

I recently visited Lookout Cafe and was thoroughly disappointed by the disgraceful and rude behavior of the Lady(may be owner). From the moment I walked in, it felt as though I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. The person behind the counter was dismissive and barely acknowledged my presence, making me feel unwelcome.
The overall service was shockingly poor, with showing a complete lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Even simple requests were met with eye rolls and sighs, creating a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere.
It's clear that customer service is not a priority here, and I left feeling thoroughly disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with common decency.
The man was Utterly RACIST. I couldn’t tell every bits of conversation was made here - however contacting the local council to have a decent check on them.
We stumbled across Warren farm shop and coffee on our way to the needles. What a find! The owners were absolutely lovely, the coffee was divine, the food was freshly made and delicious. Great setting for kids and older adults alike. We left our cars and walked over the hill to the needles which was so much nicer than had we parked in the Needles car park. Could not rate this place more highly we came on consecutive days as we loved it so much!
We stopped here for a welcome break on a rainy walk to the Needles. We followed the cheery sign from the footpath and were delighted to find the cafe kiosk and outdoor/indoor comfortable seating area. We had excellent barista coffees and locally produced soft drinks with homemade cakes (including a fantastic gluten free chocolate shortbread). Cheered us up for the last little bit of the walk!
Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had for a while, wasn’t sure as it seems quite small place and thought it would be filled will locals but everyone was lovely and the food was just 10/10
