We visited lily’s on our day trip to the IoW after seeing this place on instagram we had decided that it was a must but being a bank holiday we wernt sure if they were going to be open. To our excitement they were😁 we had ordered 2 drinks and 2 slices of their carrot cake. The cafe has a very welcoming vide about it with all they have to offer (cake wise) on show as you approach the counter. The staff were delightfully friendly and our order was ready after a very short wait (they were very busy😁)

We came to visit the isle of white over the bank holiday week as the weather was so lovely and searched the cafes we wanted to visit prior to our trip. Lilly’s did not disappoint on the cake front!! They had a good variety even on a super busy day and they were delicious. The wait time was a little while but due to the amount of customers they had we didn’t mind and took our takeaway to have by the seafront (cake with a view) great customer service throughout and nice music.

Super welcoming staff, dog friendly cafe, a great option for Sunday breakfast. Food was amazing with options including vegan 💚 avocado on sourdough bread is our favourite. The decoration is contemporary and super cute, really a charming place to go for a meal or even a quick coffee.

Found Lily’s Cafe after a hasty Tripadvisor search for a dog friendly lunch spot after visiting Bembridge lifeboat station. They have a really good selection of food & drinks. I was craving something a little more healthy so went for the goats cheese, beetroot & chutney on toasted sourdough & it was perfect. The coffee & hot chocolate were also good. Staff were super friendly & the whole place had a really good vibe to it.

Lilly’s is such a fabulous place right in the heart of Seaview. We ate here every morning for a week when we were here last year and, now back on the Island, we have had breakfast here the last two mornings. I am gluten free and they were able to accommodate me without any fuss. I had the avocado on toast (g/f) with feta (both mornings) and oat milk cappuccino. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Our final day on the island and with a bit of extra time due to a delayed ferry, we decided to check out Seaview and have a bit of lunch. We found Lily's cafe, and very glad we did. As others have said there is no seating inside due to covid, but they do have some tables outside. They have a one way system in place with a rather helpful and friendly lady (not sure if it was Lily or not) who takes your order as soon as your inside. They have a selection of pannis, baguettes, sandwiches and rolls and also some really tasty looking cakes. I couldn't resist I had to try the rocky road after she told me it was made with jaffa cake!!!! And I was not disappointed, one of the, if not the best rocky road I've had. We stumbled across this place on an off chance and I have to say, I couldn't have been more happy with what we found. I'd had to come to the island to see a gravely ill family member and had my family, dog etc with me as weren't too sure if we'd see this person again....Needless to say everyone was a bit tired and fraught and in need of being looked after. And thats exactly what we all got! We visited Lily's several times during our week in Seaview. It was just across the road from our holiday rental. It's everything a cafe should be. Cosy, with a decor reflecting the owner's humorous personality I suppose. The menu was varied, with good healthy specials, and liked by both adults and kids. The service was efficient (although understandably slow when busy) and genuinely friendly. Our dog loved the water bowl and biscuits. Our teenager loved the fast wifi. There was good choice on the menu. I had a nice baguette and my partner had soup and a toastie. We also both had excellent coffees. The cafe was decorated nicely and seemed to have a mix of clientele: oldies, workers on laptops, down from Londoners, walkers and mums.

Stopped for a cream tea which the wife enjoyed. Usual 2 scones provided with jam and clotted cream and a good pot of tea. They normally do Gluten Free cream tea but due to high demand had sold out of GF scones. They were however able to supply GF cheese scones so I had a savoury version of cream tea, 2 GF cheese scones, a tomato chutney and a cream cheese. Was very nice and would recommend.

Stopped here for tea and we're so glad we did. Loose leaf tea in a china tea pot (not one of those awful stainless steel ones that dribbles all over the table), a tea strainer, china cups and saucers and a china milk jug - this is how tea should be served. The Bakewell slice and chocolate cake were both delicious and the portions very generous. The friendly welcome and engaging staff added to the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next visit.
