Amazing coffee in a busy and popular coffee house. Tasty bacon rolls for breakfast (nice and early when no-where else in Yarmouth was serving breakfast), overnight oats, pastries and toasties also available. Excellent coffee - we will be back.

Bought refreshments and coffee/tea/drinks for our ferry journey to the mainland. They open 7 days a week which was welcome because we travelled on a Sunday. Wide range of sandwiches, toasties cakes etc. Barista coffee was lovely. Staff were friendly with excellent service. Would recommend. Ann and family

This little place was really buzzing on an otherwise quiet Saturday and it’s easy to see why. Very friendly staff and a fair range of food and drink considering it’s quite small with just six little tables. Our toasted sourdough sandwiches arrived quickly and were lovely and the tea was proper leaf tea. While we ate there was a steady takeaway trade so this place is well-used by locals. We lingered a little longer and had a piece of their polenta cake which was superb. Well done, a top cafe.

Had a lovely pot of real leaf tea here with an interesting cake on Boxing Day. Their coffee machine had broken and had a lot of poeple popping in as few places were open. They were very welcoming but had to keep explaining that they would be closing earlier and explaining about the coffees. I appreciated their keeping cool under pressure.

No toilets, lacklustre service. Nice cake, tea was drinkable. My friend was sent to the Red Funnel toilet, which was closed, and had to go to a public one which required a credit card payment. Not up to standard when charging top dollar for tea and cake.

Popped in this morning on our way to the ferry for breakfast. Was lovely coffee! We ended up having 2! And even got a cake after our bacon rolls! Everything was really tasty! Staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. Great atmosphere, and dog friendly. Wish there was one like this near home! Will definitely go again when visiting the island.

This was the best carrot cake I've ever had, and the loveliest service as well. I always come here when I'm waiting for the Yarmouth ferry, and it is almost worth coming over to the island just for the cake, coffee and service.

Have been coming here since it opened. No prices shown for cakes and price when it comes is a shock. Cakes used to be great and reasonable. Now over priced and poor. Will not survive the winter like this.

When a coffee shop doesn't have any prices you know there is a reason. In this case it's because if they displayed the prices customers may consider finding an alternative coffee shop!

Popped in for a sandwich and drink. Friendly staff and quickly offered plates, knives, serviettes and glass & ice for drinks so we could eat in. Nice atmosphere and so well laid out in a small space. A good find.

We have been coming here ever since it opened. Absolutely fantastic coffee shop. Normally very friendly, lovely coffee and great food. Which makes today’s experience even more difficult to understand and out of character. My partner always has her coffee very weak so wherever we go, we always ask for half a shot. Never a problem anywhere. However, today, the server at PO 41 simply said “no”. When quizzed she said “No we don’t do half shots” When challenged again and making it clear we weren’t asking for a discount or anything – simply only put half the shot into the mug - she again refused and started to get shirty, cut off my partner and refused to talk. Really rude and difficult to understand when there is no downside and no one ever in any other coffee shop, and PO41 every time we come before has never been a problem. Very disappointed.

What a fabulous find. Time is taken to make your coffee with care and that is certainly reflected in the taste. A rounded and enjoyable flavour. No bitter aftertaste. Fabulous cake and sour dough toasties etc. I would highly recommend this venue for a decent coffee.

Went to the IOW on business and had a 6.15 ferry from Lymington so a 4.30 start in London...on arrival in Yarmouth I really needed a light breakfast and cup of Tea. As I was early I walked into the The George Hotel opposite PO41 (they open at 7.30) for a walk in breakfast. On hearing the £30 charge they offered to me (obviously do not need or want the money and as a hotel i am assuming they are doing breakfast??) I decided to wait for PO41 to open. What a great decision. It must be one of the only places to open early as there was a stream of people waiting to be served. I only had Tea and a croissant at that point but was exactly what i needed to get me going. On my return to Yarmouth i went back in and got a Sandwich and another Tea for the Ferry. Excellent staff, very attentive and looked a good team. Great selection of cakes, sandwiches etc, and a small area to sit if you need. Give these people your money.

Very slow service , coffee used to be very good now gives a burnt milk taste , didn’t feel like anyone was in control of the place whatsoever and must say was pretty overpriced for what it was

PO41 used to be fantastic with great coffee and excellent staff who knew what they were doing, knew all the regulars and were very social whilst maintaining great service. However since the staff changeover that has all changed, they are too busy chatting amongst themselves...

Tiny little place so we couldn’t eat in but got coffee, cake and sourdough toasties to go and ate them on the seafront. Delicious! Staff were super friendly despite being rushed off their feet. Recommended for a take away picnic!

We visited this little haven on a rainy, chilly January day. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Great selection of cakes and fabulous coffee too. The chocolate orange brownie was one of the best brownies ever😋. Would def recommend visiting this tiny eatery!

The coffee is the best, service is good and staff are friendly. There is a lovely selection of cakes and pastries. In a good position in town, just round the corner from the ferry.

The staff are really great here - they treat you very much as an individual. The coffee and cakes are really good and tasty. It is pricey - but the quality of food, drink and service makes up for it.

There are not many options (none that we could see ) for breakfast in Yarmouth, the cafe at the ferry was closed, the pub we stayed in doesn’t do it and when we visited here the only breakfast option was a toasted ham and cheese...

Delicious bacon bap, pain au raisin and g-free polenta cake, plus fabulous hot drinks. Efficient and friendly staff, upbeat vibe, clean premises and so much choice. Go here!

Our second trip here and couldn't have been more lovely! Proper coffee and really lovely friendly staff, nothing was too much bother for them! Tables cleaned down quickly and even a tap to get your own tap water (great to refill a bottle on a hot day)

The food and coffee is divine and the staff absolutely lovely. The reason for the title of this review is that the staff really went the extra mile for us today because they lent me their phone charger when my phone died (I didn’t ask, they just overheard me saying and offered it). What amazing people. Needless to say we will be back also because I know that their scones are the best on the Island!

In a summer of many dog walks and coffees, this was one of the very best. Friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. Lovely cakes and gorgeous coffee. Friendly and efficient staff. We’ll be back!

We just popped in for a take away tea and cake after a busy day. The decafe tea was good quality and the pain au raisins were excellent. Just what we needed to fortify ourselves for the ferry home.

Carrot cake is delicious, lovely staff. A great local cafe, toatsies also very very delicious. Never had a hot drink so can't comment on them

The staff here are very friendly and efficient. As well as making excellent coffee, they make lovely smoothies. And the breakfast pastries are really excellent. Everything seemed good value.There are a few tables if you want to eat/drink in the shop and the atmosphere is very nice.

Stopped here after taking an early ferry over to IoW. Only had a snack and drink, courteous staff, good value, fresh food. Very busy little place.

Stopped here for a quick coffee whilst passing through Yarmouth.The coffees were very good but the cakes were amazing.I can particularly recommend the beetroot chocolate cake ... just fantastic.Good service, very covid secure & quite good music ... sounded a bit like a half-decent XFM playlist going on in there (always nice to hear a bit of Libertines whilst having your coffee ).Highly recommended

Came across this wee gem today on our visit to Yarmouth. The iced vanilla latte and banana & chocolate loaf were delicious! All the staff were welcoming and friendly. A must if you are heading to the area!

What an excellent little find. Wonderful coffee and cakes. Their coffee is actually ground on the Island and we bought some to bring home. The staff are friendly and informative and eager to please. Sadly its a little too small for the number of people wanting to sit inside but thats not their fault..Somewhere we will look forward to returning to...

Lovely coffee shop near the pier. Only a couple of tables available inside but easy to take away and walk along the front. Great food options savoury and sweet, including vegan options and alternative milks.

We visited PO41 today and what a visit it was! It's a small little place but it is perfect. Coffee is incredible (best on the island probably), the cakes are delicious and as a bonus there's multiple vegan, dairy and gluten free options to choose from. As well as vegan toasties and 'sausage' rolls. So impressed with the amount of choice available. The 2 girls serving us were so polite and kind (even to some other rude customers that came in while we were there). A really lovely place and we are gutted we live a ferry ride away!

We visited on a Sunday morning and knew from the queue that the coffee would be good. It was worth waiting for - best we had on the island. Came back the next day for a bite to eat - tasty toasties and scrummy cakes. They're managing the Covid restrictions really well for such a tiny place, and were happy to welcome our dog inside too. Top marks all round.

Couldn't get into Gossips so came here instead what an amazing little find. Staff are really friendly. The coffee is best I've had without a doubt and the sour bread toastie are to die for. You can't miss this experience.

We confirm the "Small but very friendly and high quality " comments from others. No trouble for them to split one excellent house coffee into two, as my wife has to limit intake. In addition, we purchased, for take away, two bags of the caffetiere blend and also a couple of the delicious cakes.

Stopped by towards close of play for a coffee, a hot chocolate and, in the event, a couple of nata tarts. The chocolate was well above average and served [for me] at the right temperature (ie hot!) in a very attractive insulated glass beaker. Covid precautions were being taken seriously and I wish them well.

Visited this morning before my brother caught ferry home very welcoming dog friendly too had delicious coffee ad Portuguese Tart. Will go back definitely highly recommended ❤

Fantastic little coffee shop which serves amazing coffees. We loved it so much we went every morning for our coffees and often stopped en route before heading out to different attractions and parts of the island. Genuinely really enjoyed going here for a takeaway coffee and was dead easy to rock up and park the car really close nearby to stop off. Can’t recommend this place enough - definitely worth a visit!!

Having training as a barista makes going out for coffee that bit more difficult, but this place is the best coffee I've had. So much so that whenever I come to the Isle of Wight I make a point of driving the hour from Ryde to get a coffee from here. I visited last year and rain or shine, covid or not, this place is a coffee must do for lovers or novices alike. Warning: you won't want to go to a main chain coffee shop again!

Absolutely the best coffee around, they put so much effort into making it the best; the roast, the ground, the milk( whole milk from Briddlesford farm) nice pastries and homemade cakes, absolutely sublime.

We had a delicious sourdough sandwich and tea after a walk along the coast. The range of homemade cakes were also amazing and I recommend the chocolate banana cake. Unfortunately I left my gloves at the cafe and didn’t realise until we were on the ferry back to Yarmouth. The staff very kindly sent them by post to me a few days later. Not many places would offer such service without hesitation. Thank you so much and we will be back to see you when we visit the IOW again in the not too distant future.

We had time to kill waiting for the ferry and decided to pop in for a quick coffee. The coffee itself was excellent, the staff very friendly but what was most striking was how cosy and quirky it was. Excellent!

Only bought from this cafe but the best scones ever!( Stilton & walnut 👌🏻) And many lovely other pastries. Worth a visit, I always get something from them for my son when I go to iow

Popped into this lovely cafe yesterday, with our two shelties, and all received a warm welcome. my hubby had an amazing bacon roll which he really enjoyed. He doesnt often say he’s enjoyed food! I had a wonderful cranberry and white chocolate cookie, which was lovely n chewy. Great little friendly place. Would definitely recommend. We’ll pop in again on our next walk around Yarmouth.

Alway a warm welcome. Excellent, smooth coffee. Good cakage! Marvelous meringues. We go here for all of the above but primarily because of how dog friendly PO41 is. Also the Nostalgia of remembering it as the Post Office. Like to sit at the back in the area which would have been behind the counter. Great memories of the lovely Kath

It’s easy to see why this place is so high up the listings. We visited twice during our visit to the Island and both times received great service and fantastic coffee. There was a great atmosphere when we walked in, even when we walked in at 3.50 and they close at 4, we were served and welcomed with a smile. As were the people behind us. Lovely cappuccino, could be quite addictive if I lived here. Well done ladies.

I can only really write about the coffee. Not everywhere gets flat white right. PO41 do. Ethical environmentally aware. Hand roasted beans. Good blend

Was a very nice coffee and the cheese scone was also very nice as well. So can't say anything bad about that. However like what one other person put on the review the 2 girls working on the Saturday afternoon all you could here was them talking about there night out. And how there looking forward to finishing there shift. Its not good to here when your a paying customer.please who ever is in charge sort this out customers don't want to here about the staff going out. Having said that if that can be sorted I would probably come back as was a nice coffee and cheese scone.

I love this quaint coffee shop/cafe. Amazing home made cakes and delicacies that tempt you as you walk past, great coffee and always a smile. Highly recommended if you are in the area!!!!! Don’t miss it, certainly has the edge on other places in the vicinity.

We went in here several times on holiday because the coffee was so so good and they had oatly barrista for it too, and a selection of four vegan treats to go with it, so we had to go back and try them all; coffee and kaluha muffins, rice crispy slices, peanut butter cookies and a tea cake yummo.

My first visit here today for morning coffee and cakes with friends. They are regular visitors because many of the cakes are Gluten free. The coffee and cakes where delicious, the service was spot on. Small but charming, busy yet time to sit and enjoy.

We spent the entire time listening to the staff's social evening, but they did manage to serve at some point, seemed totally disinterested in customers

The only cafe open for early breakfast in Yarmouth, It is tiny gem and some tables are minute, but the service and staff are friendly. The bacon baps are amazing with so much meat in them and excellent coffee..

Popped in here for breakfast a few times over Bank Holiday weekend and was really impressed with the brilliant service despite being RAMMED. Really friendly staff and fantastic products. Was served by Leanne most mornings who is a delight.
