We stumbled across Warren farm shop and coffee on our way to the needles. What a find! The owners were absolutely lovely, the coffee was divine, the food was freshly made and delicious. Great setting for kids and older adults alike. We left our cars and walked over the hill to the needles which was so much nicer than had we parked in the Needles car park. Could not rate this place more highly we came on consecutive days as we loved it so much!

We found this place by accident over 19 years ago and it was so fantastic we’ve always wanted to go back. This week we did and while there have been changes (obviously) it’s still a great spot for a cream tea or lunch with home made pies and cakes with other baked items from local producers. Friendly, good value, spotlessly clean it’s definitely worth a visit for lunch, a cream tea or a gin and tonic at the bar. Loved it and will definitely return next time we’re on the island.

We visited this place years ago when our kids were young and had the best cream tea I’ve ever had straight from the farmhouse. A bit disappointing to see they don’t do that anymore but understand why - must have been a lot of work. Friendly guy served us and even more friendly dog looked after us. What remains is a tea house and small farm shop with a bar for those not driving. Scones were still awesome, got commercial clotted cream and jam and still loved it. It was a beautiful day and we sat in a converted farm trailer and as it was a beautiful day we relaxed and enjoyed life again. FYI we had parked in needles place and walked sling path off road to needles, probably about a half mile but you can also drive right in

Working nearby we saw the signs to Warren Farm Shop many times but it was the Cocktail bar sign which caught our eye, - so glad it did! Such a wonderful surprise to find a well appointed Farm Shop, Tea Room and a beautifully converted horse box stocked with very tempting cocktails and amazing beers - in a delightfully rural and pleasant setting. Quality foods and snacks - locally sourced. Incredible Isle of Wight Pale Ale ( a must! ). Hay bales in the garden so the children can sit and pet the friendly and very inquisitive Hebridean Sheep! A Working Farm working very hard - with friendly hospitable owners. A real gem, great vibe, relaxed with quality produce throughout.

We hadn’t been to Warren Farm for about 7 years - last time we saw the big pig, but sadly he has long gone. We stopped off on a whim as we fancied a quick refreshment but boy has it changed! An indoor barn; enlarged seating area; tractor seating; outside gin bar; cakes and scones also. We aimed for a high tea with scones and cream; but succumbed to the gin. 😄. Lovely location and fresh scones. We brought our dog and the boys had a play out the swings. Great location and if you fancy something different before / after the needles then would thoroughly recommend! Grab a ribeye whilst your there from the farm reared range. Needles to say we returned to buy some more. Great family owned business which made the most of lockdown by expanding. The barn has been converted in memory of the late owner but the family is going strong!

Our first visit since 'mum' retired and the changes are huge - the tea shop has contracted but the horse box bar is a lovely modern addition in keeping with what youger generations want. We miss the tea shop BUT we absolutely love and adore the farm produced beef. It is wonderful and worth every penny - we now buy one of their boxes to take home with us. The farm is still a great place to visit for tea (or something stronger!) and we prefer this to the Needles amusements - it is a tranquil slice of pure delight.

This place is famous for its views across the Solent, but only in the summer. In the winter the windows are always steamed up giving you near to no visibility outside. We didn’t eat but the menu looks good and average prices for the area. Drinks were more expensive than the Seaview Hotel just around the corner. +£1 per drink on gin & tonic. It was November on a Friday evening and all tables were reserved. We did sit at one of their best tables for our drink ‘Captain Ted’s Table’ and it was wobbly as hell. Felt like it was going to give way at any time. Come on this is an easy fix.

We have been here many times over the years and looked forward to our visit again this year. What a disappointment. We had a cream tea which consisted of a pot of tea, 2 scones, butter, cream and jam. The jam and cream pots were half the size they used to be and the butter was barely there, adequate enough for one scone but certainly not two. The jug of milk supplied did not have enough milk for one cup of tea and we had to ask for extra. I do not drink tea and asked for my tea to be substituted with coffee, big mistake, it was undrinkable. Went we went to pay we were told 'cash only' and I was lucky to find some cash in the bottom of my bag. This should be made clear when you enter and before you order as a lot of people do not carry cash. Our experience was so different to every other visit we wondered if there were 'new owners' but overheard the owner telling other visitors that she had been there 17 years. Sadly will not be returning.
