Burgers are quite expensive compared to the fast food chains but they are worth every penny. They have a really great selection of burgers and the fries are delicious... Deserts are unfortunately the weak link

Easily the best quality burgers I’ve had on the island so far at very reasonable prices. The portions won’t leave room for anything else, highly recommend giving them a try if you’re in the area!

The burger was sloppy and the buns were soggy and then when I thought things couldn’t get any worse the chips were bone dry and rubbery such a disappointment.

Placed an order here and collected. Very easy to order and personalise burger online. Got a phone call to say it'd be ready to collect soon. When I collected they were very careful to make the order was right. Very friendly service. Food was amazing. Burgers were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Chips were a good portion and the onion rings were great. Really recommend here and will definitely ordering again.

We had a takeaway for a family on a bleak winters night and can not fault the burgers or the value for money. The large burgers were huge. Would recommend if you are hungry.

Can't knock the burger and chips from here. I almost always go for the Firestarter and Unsociable Chip, both are really tasty. Just greasy and filthy enough without being kabab level... The burgers are always well cooked and the service is pretty decent too. If you're in Shanklin and you're hankering for a decent burger, check it out. Support this great little local business.

Made a special trip from Newport and wasn't disappointed. I had the spitfire burger and my partner had the bacon, brie n cranberry. Will be returning again. Well worth it!

After being turned away from the crab in shanklin due to being fully booked on Monday, my dad and I wandered into Rios, we were greeted by lovely, attentive staff and served exceptional food. My dad and I both had burgers and a large chips between us… unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy all of the chips as we were absolutely stuffed but the food was gorgeous. One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten.

Not just the best burger on the IOW but one of the best I've ever had. From the friendly greeting to the quality of the food this place is well worth the visit.

There products are of excellent quality, cooked fresh and served piping hot. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

The burgers are yummy, always perfectly cooked and fresh. The loaded fries with sauces and cheese etc are very nice, but could do with covering all of the chips in sauce as sometimes you are left with a few chips at the bottom that have no sauce or toppings as all the good stuff is on the top, but other than that this place is 10/10 and very reasonably priced

Really nice burger place, food is so reasonably priced and the portions are good. I always think it's a good sign when a burger place has kitchen roll on the table. The burgers are tasty and messy, exactly what you want. Chips were really nice, sweet potato and regular. Dips are big, we tried garlic mayo and the blue cheese, happy to recommend either. The guy working there was really friendly. Much better experience than visiting any of the chain restaurants.

Popped in while staying locally for work. I'm assuming the guy behind the counter is the owner because he was on it. Great customer service. I went for the regular moody blue burger and sweet potato fries. Both of which were freshly cooked and tasty a hell. For £8 it was an absolute steal. I'm guessing the burger is home made because it had that nice, almost crumbly, rough round the edges texture? The salad in it was fresh and crisp. I was offered pickles and was happy to find nice long chunky slices inside it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will happily return if I'm ever in the area again. Photos don't do it justice.

I had the minted lamb burger and chips, it was delicious. Loads of chips. The staff where lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going here again.

Normally enjoy these .. but we have now stopped ordering, woman on the phone tuts and sighs when we mention the town we wish delivery to.. and last couple of orders have been not what we have come to expect.. Angry chips was inconsistent and the burgers can be very dry. Unfortunately we no longer order 😕 😪

Staff were friendly and the burgers were yummy. The chicken remained juicy and overall it was a great experience . We tried chicken fire starter 🍔 😋

I ordered 2 burgers tonight, large chips, onion rings, coleslaw and 2 rolo cheesecakes, all was on point. Drove 20 minutes to get back to where I’m staying, and was piping hot as packaged well, if you want a banging burger I highly recommend will see you when I come back in June! Good prices and generous portions so Thankyou :)

Very disappointed.. third time ordering…. Took 2 hours to deliver… rung up told them not to worry about it and asked for a refund they said they couldn’t and could hear assistant manger in the background on the phone extremely rude and very unapologetic…shame the customer service really lets the place down

Smashing place got a good quality burger. Lots to pick from, love the daily deals they do, so when ever you fancy one they got something going on. Friendly staff would recommend.

Best tasting burger I have ever had, lots of choice and cooked on a flame grill fresh, uses local butchers and has smoke bacon, also uses brioche buns if you want, the salads are very crisp and fresh. cheap and tasty, BTW he does a discount for us local business owners. Has a burger on the special every month, really nice. Also does delivery

A group of us ordered a range of burgers the other night, ranging from veggie to beef. I have to say they were on point and exactly what a proper burger should be. The price was reasonable and the burgers were very tasty with a ‘flame grilled’ taste. Will defo be returning when possible 👍

Great food - 7 of us all ordered different burgers. Really tasty burgers - everyone thought they were the best they’d had. Chips & onions rings were delicious too. Didn’t have to wait long although they were busy. Staff were pleasant & it was good to be able to see your food being cooked. Shame we don’t live on the island but we will be back - probably tonight!!

Such a great burger, it was moist and delicious, I had the payday burger with unsociable chips and I was not disappointed, my husband had a Fantasy burger and all was brilliant. We had a great burger night, many thanks guys

Love this place. Foods great and if you follow on Facebook, they do lovely deals ! Check it out. Eat in or take away. My only gripe, the Web ordering doesn't have their cheese cake or chi Ken chunks and if you call, they don't always answer. It's frustrating as you sometimes have a hefty wait on busy days.

This place is a hidden gem, doesn’t look like much from the outside and it’s quite small but the burgers are of an extremely high standard, it’s on the level if not better than GBK and 7bones for people from the mainland. I got the taz burger which was amazing, I got a choice of soft white or brioche bun, choice of salads and very freindly service, would highly recommend for those that appreciate a good burger.

Their burgers are better than most, including 5 guys and don't cost a fortune.

Rios was excellent up until this evening, we spent nearly £40 on a delivery for 4. The burgers have changed since our last order from good quality steak burgers to mediocre kebab shop quality. If you have deliberately bought cheaper stock, I suggest you lower your prices inline with your competitors.

Nothing to complain about at all. Service is polite. Its great that you can watch your food being cooked to order. Bought for myself and 2 children. Two burgers one was a chicken bbc omg so yummy and the other was a beef taz with garlic Mayo equally as nice. My youngest had chicken chunks and chips and we also have a large Smokey chips plus ice cold drinks. Just perfect. Unfortunately didn’t get round to taking photos of burgers but did of the chips

Visited again the other weekend to get food for family. They had a good deal on with 2 regular burgers, two boxes of chips, a jumbo sausage, coleslaw and chunks oh and two cans of drink. Perfect for a family of four, burgers for the parents and kids share the sausage and chunks and split the chips between us all. Tasty as ever and all cooked to order.

I have used these on a number of occasions and really had no major problems. However the last 3 occasions the burgers have, without question got far worse. They have a large amount of grisly mince in them. I would have forgiven 1 or 2 occasions but now it’s 3 I felt I needed to review them. Especially when I first used them they were delicious, not now.

Honestly some of the best burgers we have had!. My family and I chose to try RIOs after reading such good reviews, and it did not disappoint we drove from shanklin to ryde and the burgers and chips were still hot. Really reasonable price too for the quality you get and very friendly service, Would recommend.

Despite the price increase of the majority of items, Rio's remains one of the cheapest takeaways in shanklin and definitely the best tasting. With a huge variety of toppings on the burgers AND the chips, Rio's have to be top 3 takeaways on the island especially if you are vegetarian. Price: 4.3/5 Taste: 5/5 Inside: 4/5

Called up last week to speak to the owner . You would have thought I called somebody’s personal telephone . A woman answered my call by saying “ elllo “ then nothing …. I asked to speak to owner and was met with …. “ errr errrr errrr “ “ he’s not here “ I asked when was he there and got a response of “ errrr I don’t know .” Not once did I know I called “ rios “ as wasn’t greeted correctly . Very rude woman who clearly had better things to be doing . Just from that interaction I no longer want to speak to the owner as have heard all i need .

Ordered food through the app with delivery at 7:30, didn’t receive it for hour and 20 minutes, so went to pick it up myself even though paid pod delivery, so basically 3,50 down the drain, food bad being prepared 10 minutes before closing time at 8:50, very unprofessional service, and the lady on the grill wasn’t very friendly. Won’t be going there ever again, shame as they are making good burgers.

Phoned up to place an order for delivery (Saturday 26th February) was told by girl on the phone it would be around 1 hour 30 minute wait due to being busy. Told her that was fine. So placed order. Food arrived within time told when...

burnt hamburger, the service inside does not exist they do not have glasses !!!! , a blue roll on the table to clean your hands !!! the tables are all sticky and it's cold inside I will never go back

I asked for a burger with no onions. I watched the guy write no onions on his pad. Empty shop, nothing else to distract him. Still got a burger full of onions. Ruined what would have been an otherwise very nice burger.

Freshly made burgers as you wait, and boy it’s well worth the wait. As I told the owner “it’s one hell of a good burger” and nothing but proper ingredients going in. The first time I’ve been here but definitely not the last. Great little find in Shanklin Owner is very friendly and passionate about what he does, don’t see that very often, don’t change what you do mate, brilliant all around service.

Wow... best place for burger and chips. Really great selection / choice of delicious burgers whether beef, chicken of plant based for vegetarians Great combination of toppings for chips. Fresh ingredients cooked to order. Really filling and excellent value. We are becoming regulars and I am always beautiful stuffed full after a regular Rio burger and chips.

Rio’s Burgers offers the best burgers I’ve ever had, so far. The owner Mark is friendly and open to any changes in his recipes or even completely new suggestions! I really like the environment, as well. I must say that the BBC Burger, with Brie cheese and cranberry sauce, was nothing short of marvelous. Will definitely come back, that’s for sure. Best burgers ever!!!!!!! The only down side is the taz burger is so good I want to try the others but can't not have a taz,... Chips good, staff are great, decor perfect, time waiting spot on. Prices are great value. Please please please don't change a thing.

It's about time that I did a review of Rio's Burgers, Shanklin. If you are after: *Great customer service *Amazing food *Actually watching your food being prepared *A place to eat in *Friendly delivery drivers Then this is the place to go. Yes there are a few burger places in Shanklin but this one stands out way above the rest. The food is cooked in front of you and you can see the cleanliness of both the staff and the kitchen. There is an awesome 'Burger of the week'. Last night I had the 'Advent Burger'. I can honestly say that it was the nicest burger I've ever had in my life!! The menu is vast so everyone will be able to enjoy one of the many combinations. Also try the chips and optional toppings, you won't be disappointed! *I don't work for Rio's and have no affiliation with anyone that works there. I am just a regular customer who always leaves happy and very full 🤗

Wow absolutely horrendous. Will never use them again. Burnt Buns, rubbery beef and Luke warm at best. Prices went up with no info. They are awful and suggest food and hygiene give them a visit.

Rios burgers is the best takeaway I have ever had, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. It's amazing how cheap it is. The burgers are juicy and tastes like a homemade grilled burger cooked to perfection. The smokey chips are my favourite with big portions and I go there all the time for them. This is one of the best burger place I have been to. Quality food , big portion and cheap price. The guy is really quick, friendly, polite and helpful. The place has a legacy old beauty. All food containers used are biodegradable which is really amazing. Highly recommended 👌🏻
