Oasis in Isle of Wight

We have driven past many times on holidays but not stopped in until today, a real treasure trove of goodies! From the comical ducks to some fantastic carvings and lovely furniture. Very reasonable prices too. The cafe was welcoming, we had a large latte, tea and a couple of lovely cheese cake slices . Lovely waste of a couple of hours, too many ooooh I like those to be a cheap visit though.

always visit this shop when on the island, lovely unusual items, great wood carvings , furniture is very different but lovely, got my eye on a dragon before we go back home to kent

Nice store for tourists but stock rarely changes

Had some waxes came today I moved off the island now , but love there candles and waxes, service was very good, will be ordering more soon 😀

Rather expensive but some lovely gifts in here ,also the cafe is reasonably priced.

Visiting in the winter months, cosy, plenty of free parking. Nice to wonder, lovely items at decent prices. Dogs allowed outside only where there is a seated area. Had the quiche, but sadly in the microwave- a bit soggy. An air fryer would do the trick.

A great unusual shop selling lots of unique goods, hand made wooden ornaments bedding souvenirs and faux flowers you can make up your own arrangements including little ornaments for a one of gift. Staff friendly being early January the store was quiet and not crowded. A small cafe inside also

I love visiting Oasis, they have rather lovely and unusual items at really good prices and the cafe is always worth a visit.

It's always great to visit and buy things from the lovely range of products, made in the Far East, at the Oasis. Great eatery and best bread pudding ever. Mrs Bridges Marmalade takes some beating. Great place to get presents for Christmas. A F.

We visited this amazing shop today & were so impressed. The owner & staff were so helpful & the variety of goods stocked was mind boggling. The quality of the wooden sculptures & furniture were not only outstanding but very, very reasonably priced. We will definitely return to Oasis whenever we visited the island. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time when you visit because you may struggle to decide what to spend your money on. Also the cafe is good value for money with wholesome food.

No crab sandwiches! Used to get nice thick doorstep sandwiches but not any more. Sausages were not great, not butchers sausages.

Such a friendly place! I have been looking for 2 specific Pokémon binders everywhere for a long time and when I finally found out Oasis had both I was thrilled, at first I tried to order them on the website but it wouldn't ship to my address and I got so disappointed. I decided to give the shop a call and this lovely gentleman called Ewan was nothing short of being the most helpful staff ever, he told me the website is currently working on fixing the shipping to Northern Ireland issue and he can place the order on his end, reserved the binders a few days for me until I could complete the transaction. I placed the order on a Saturday and they have already arrived by Wednesday it is so well packaged. If I ever visit Isle of Wights I will definitely stop by Oasis in person. Thank you so much once again you've made my day!

My family was on holiday on the Isle of Wight and we popped into oasis and found a very nice shelving unit we order it and had it delivered before we finished our trip we was back 3 days and it arrived early the pallet was all wrapped up and no damage on the item very very happy with it and the delivery service I also had a notification on my phone a a 2 hour delivery slot brilliant service from oasis and the delivery service

Always visit oasis when we go to the isle of Wight always something extra special to buy there

We loved the range of local products mixed with select quality items from around the world. The prices are very reasonable. This is an aladdin's cave and the [shop] staff were friendly and interested in us.

It is always a delight to visit here. I always find just the right things to buy for presents or for our own use in our house. The range of unique furniture of different types is fascinating and we have already decided one lovely teak item of furniture for our hall we will buy on our next visit when we have more space in our car. We visit every time we come to the island and never leave empty handed. Really nice cafe too

This place like your in Bali amazing stuff here and yes my first time here and my boyfriend love the canvas and myself did not think if going to fit in the car. Managed it with the set fold lols.

This place is huge. An amazing Aladin's cave of things including gifts, craft materials, pictures and furniture. It has a good cafe too.

It is a great place to get lots of ideas, and the food/refreshments were also very good

Bought a large mirror and had to travel 250 miles home and they could not provide and sort of packaging for it

Shop to do on a rainy or cloudy day. Lots of decoration, a little kitsch all the same.

This has to be one of the best shops to visit. There is so much to see and buy and its all original. Not what you see on every corner. Last year we bought an elf well quite a big elf he is amazing and this year we bought a monkey it gives friends and family plenty to talk about. The staff are brilliant kind, helpful and very friendly. Love this place.

What a wonderful plethora of goods. A wide variety to suit all tastes I'm sure for those needing interior decor. The cafe also has a variety of cakes and hot food....bacon sandwich in granary bread was very nice. The staff are also very friendly and polite. If you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter access is also very easy. No tight corners or narrow aisles. I was told that they check with a wheelchair each week to make sure there is nothing hindering access.

Loads of choice, some really lovely things and prices are surprisingly reasonable.

Amazing shop, just go and enjoy it

We originally called in just for tea and cake on our way to the resort. There is a substantial gift emporium with very reasonable prices. It was so nice we ended up visiting three times as t was only a few miles away from the resort

Nothing nicer than seeing veggies so fresh, you actually want to buy and eat them! Prawns were huge - shouting at me to buy them.

The shopping area is like an Aladins cave, just amazing. So many different and unusual items. Well worth a visit, and the cafe served great coffee, hot chocolate, and cakes plus a variety of hot food as well 🤗🤗

Turned up on a Thursday at 09.25. Main nursery opens at 09.30. Looked through glass doors, big notice saying cafe closed open tomorrow. Made a special visit. Very dissapointed as website said open.

A lot bigger than you could imagine. Huge range of merchandise to view and or buy. Thankfully has a small restaurant where you can sit down, have something to eat and drink and give your legs a rest.

What a little gem of a place, went not expecting too much but was I wrong. Brought some lovely bits for everyday and for Christmas. Had coffee's in the cafe, will definitely be back and will have lunch as the menu looked good.

Stopped for a browse on our way past. They sell a real mix of things, mostly gifts, bedding, silk flowers, and unusual furniture. Also the usual tourist chutney selection. We bought one of their vast selection of tealight pottery houses, which will probably be good for warming a room (the whole candle under a terracotta plant pot idea). It's so cute and a reasonable price. I also love the glass bowls/vases that appear to 'melt' over pieces of driftwood. One of those is on my wishlist! A reasonable price too. Friendly staff served us at the counter and made sure our pottery was boxed and secure.

Whenever we're in the Isle of Wight we always pop in and are guaranteed to come away with something. This time a driftwood with blown glass bowl. We're gonna use it as a fish tank but where are we gonna put it 😁 Update 2023. Bought more bits from Oasis, can't help myself 😁
