First time I've been in here even though I've been to the island many a time. We went in for food and a few drinks. Now I wasn't expecting what we got food wise to be honest. " Never judge a book by it's cover" I was blown away with the food. Fresh and so tasty. ( just shame I didn't take pictures) In the few days we were on the island this was far by the best we had! It was fantastic. I am just sorry we didn't go back there again before we left. We will most definitely be going there when we return. The food, staff, atmosphere and the friendly locals should put this place on the map! It was a great evening...and decent music 🎶 . I highly recommend this place. A great pub without all the pretentious thrills. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Driving along the road heading into Keswick decide to stop here for a drink. We were greeted with a warm welcome so much so decided we would stay for evening meal. My friend and I were not disappointed. Food was superb and service first class. Couldnt do enough for us. I can certainly recommend this lovely place and hope to go back very soon.
Pictures don’t do this hotel justice. It’s absolutely stunning inside and out! We had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was excellent and the hotel facilities were great. Thank you Hillside Hotel we can’t wait to return.
Really enjoyed this little place on the Isle of Wight, they do a very good tasting gin cocktail and their pizza is delicious! Would most definitely come again!
What a gem beautiful ornaments and unusual gifts picked up a couple of bits to take back to Lincolnshire with us ..great value and myself and the wife thought very reasonably priced.
It was amazing as always… We had a lovely waitress too, she was really friendly but I didn’t manage to take her name! I always enjoy coming to The Hut, you know the food is going to be worth the money. The drinks are on point and the ambience is so fun and bubbly! It feels like a holiday.
Booked a single room for 2 nights. Located in a seperate building from the bar/restaurant, the room was cosy and clean, with a wardrobe, desk, hot drink facilities and toiletries in the en-suite. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the food in the bar/restaurant is excellent. Will definitely be back.
Sat outside and found the staff member to have a can’t be that bothered attitude
Ask for mayonnaise and it never came. Went up to the counter and asked again, From the same person we had just asked. Answer was, isn’t there any in the tub on the table ? Arrogance a plenty!!! Perhaps he might learn to treat customers with a little bit more respect.
We had a nice snack and drink here- enjoyable and fairly good service, especially considering how busy the resturant was.
The food was incredibly flavourful and so tasty- it was really lovely to have some nice food!
Would gladly return- even though it's difficult to get to, especially in a large crew van like ours (obviously this isn't the farm's fault though!)
What an amazing tardis of a place which draws you in with its thatched roof and promise of Wight shaped scones. It has extensive seating both inside and outside with an adjacent council car park. Bit pricey to park there ☹️.
Visited three times:lunch, afternoon visit and early evening meal. There is a small bar inside and this room is the lively one in terms of engaging in conversation with one of the owners or other guests.
The menu is varied and everything is freshly cooked. The scones are light and fluffy!! It is very easy to eat a lot here 😀
Very easy to reach by bus and a wee walk from the station
We thoroughly enjoyed visiting.
