We popped in here for sausage rolls pasties and bread pudding on our holiday The best sausage rolls I've had for a long time and the lady who served me was so lovely

Brilliant food, staff are always lovely friendly and very helpful, been going her years love the place.

Pretty poor. Food was undercooked. We also asked for salt & vinegar but didn't get any. Quite pricey too and the lady that served us didn't appear to be very happy about it. Seems to be one of those places that is happy to serve locals but not too keen on 'out of towners'. Won't be returning.

We had a breakfast carvery today it was excellent, good quality sausages and bacon, and plenty of it with a bonus of unlimited tea and coffee, we cannot comment to much on the atmosphere as early morning not alot of people, but the staff were very friendly and helful, this is a place I would recommend to visit, it's got parking, and a great play area for kids, we will be back again to try their other menus, so give this a visit you won't be disappointed, thank you Bugle for an enjoyable breakfast. 👏👏👏😋

Highly recommended for the friendly service, clean and cosy atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. For our misfortune we only could eat french fries on that day (14/03/2025).Even that also was well seasoned & good portion wise. Toilets are very clean and well maintained too. Thank you very much for your valuable service. See you again.

Food is actually really nice and not unreasonably priced either. All the staff we've met have also been really switched on and helpful..

We found Kates Cottage last year and come here every time we visit the Island. The ladies who serve are very friendly and we get a warm greeting. Our little cockapoo is also welcome. We mainly have the OAPs roast dinner which comes with a dessert included in the price. On both lunch visits last week we had roast lamb, roast potatoes, green beans, peas and carrots. The beans and carrots both freshly cooked. With our desserts and two big mugs of tea our total bill was £19 each visit which was excellent value. We have always found Kates Cottage clean and a lovely atmosphere. We look forward to seeing everyone again when we are next on the Island. We recommend as there is a good choice on the menu for everyone. My husband is a coeliac and he was catered for.

Have been going here for some time now, the food is always great, the staff friendly and the view could not be better! It mildly annoying that they do not take cash payments, but other than that it’s spot on!

Seating a little tattie but that is more than made up for by the friendly staff and good food (large portions.) We were made to feel very welcome unlike the other place across the road which I am not going to mention but the staff were very rude AND ignorant. Well done Daisy!

Nice pub with good food & great views of the Solent but a bit off the beaten track from Bembridge village

I’m writing this review even though I can’t report on the food. I was unable to buy fish and chips as it’s “cash only” and I only had my phone with me so was unable to get cash out at the nearby cash point. I’d driven 15 minutes to get there so it was annoying and I ended up driving to Ryde instead.

I went with family for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised that they let dogs inside. The cooked breakfast was perfectly cooked and very nice too. The staff are very friendly and polite. The establishment was very clean and is worth a visit.

We came here for dinner and the food was amazing , friendly staff. Food came quick and the staff were very accommodating! would definitely recommend
