The best restaurants in East Hampshire South East

First time to the Folly, and we were not disappointed, great service, great choice, great food, with great prices. Will return and recommended

Tried to have lunch here today. It was lunchtime and with the relatively small choice of meals and snacks available, (breakfast stops at 11:30am) it would have been reasonable to assume that demand could be met. Wrong! With only three quarters of tables occupied, my first choice of meal was unavailable due to a lack of potatoes. So, having had to choose another dish, twenty minutes passed before being informed that an ingredient for that was missing. I found this unacceptable and left having been refunded for the inconvenience of having to put up with such shoddy service. I was not the only complainant and something needs doing to improve service in this establishment.

Nice addition to your meal is a drink from the Tap. Good and fair pricing with a good range of drinks available. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. You can drink in or take to a table with The Shed whilst you enjoy a meal from one of the eateries.

Brilliant drinking place with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and great beers. Triple FFF brew some really good beer but also have some lovely guest beers as well. Great fun place, never had a bad trip here.

well placed and well named. choices more than sufficient. good value. friendly staff. ideal before or after a "club" activity or if just passing by.

Working local to the Indian, eat from the star most days etc. I recommend the cuisine also nice friendly guys work there. Ordered a chicken vindaloo with extra green chilli, Its a high grade chicken breast also a great sauce. A great consistency and a great flavour. Mushroom rice and keema nan also a great choice. I come for the Dog Treats (the dogs love them and pull all the way from the carpark until we get here) and stay for the Coffee with Oat Milk and Vegan Cakes

Had our Christmas do there and they were superb! Really looked after us, the food was amazing, lots of choices and everyone had great things to say, live music was a real treat and we had such a fab night we'd definitely consider coming back for another Christmas do. Great location right in town, can't thank the team enough - Martin, Stacey, Dave thank you so much for a great night!! 🥰🎄

Revolting food we gad to wait 45 minutes for. Order was wrong, was sent back to the kitchen with a backdrop of loud swearing from the ‘’chef’’ for his mistake. Waited for another 15 mins for an undercooked jacket potato, no apology no nothing. Once ready ‘chef’ loudly announced here is a jacket potato with no butter in a mocking voice… on leaving I was clearly charged for 2 jacket potatoes and the burnt panini but felt the lady behind the counter who did the maths in her head, was too passive aggressive for me to challenge. Safe to say we wont be going back.

Great staff and great location for families and friends to meet up for a coffee and a chant and okay hot chocolate and 🍰 nice company

Very accommodating staff when the carvery was fully booked. Food was delicious (Folly burger and roast) plentiful and good value for money .

Lovely lunch after a good walk. Delicious food and excellent service. Friendly staff.
