We had originally booked a table for 8.45 but popped in to ask if we could change the time to 9.30 which they agreed. I think this was a mistake as we were the only people in the restaurant and treated like a total inconvenience, no conversation told we had a time limit to order food very abrupt, standing at bar just waiting for us to go. Food was way too salty and chicken so dry. Decided to let the floor manager know how we felt but he had no interest totally dismissing us, laughing at us while we talked. Been using this restaurant for twenty years as it’s our local but never again.

Another fantastic meal at The Three Horseshoes. Excellent food, outstanding service and a homely environment. Lovely to see a proper pub with a few in for lunch. Our next visit can't come soon enough! (Is your Good Evans barbecue sauce homemade? It really is exceptional.)

I feel aggrieved by the event here NYE 2024. The ticket listing and event stated Curry and pint for "1st tier" tickets for £20. Paid £80 for four tickets. Only to find you get a few entrées/nibbles and have to pay EXTRA for the curry. This was misleading information/pricing as at NO point was it stated as having to pay EXTRA for a curry. This definitely WILL effect my coming to further events with this brewery if that's how they will treat patrons. I won't be falling for your con again. Yet again, a brewery/pub rips you off at NYE. Shameful.

Excellent food, although bit expensive it was worth it i.e. £17 for 2 breakfasts including coffee. Breakfasts based on number of items e.g. 5 items for £8. Food was hot, freshly cooked, staff very friendly and café very clean. Coffee was excellent would definitely go back again & recommend . Felt stuffed after eating

Even though we only live a couple of miles from here, we've never been before but thought we'd try Sunday lunch. It was absolutely delicious! I had the roast beef and my wife the lamb and both were exceptional. The staff were lovely and attentive without being too pushy and were not rushed to leave our table after well over 2 hours. We'll definitely be going back.

With a little one, we haven’t been able to visit much until food was on the menu again… cracking Sunday lunch, great atmosphere, and cosy redecoration. Well done to everyone involved in keeping this great village pub going. The roast potatoes were the best I’ve had for ages! We’ll be back (often)!

We went to the auction house to celebrate my dad and my birthday for a family lunch after enjoying it a while back. However we were really disappointed. When we arrived there were only 2 other tables there so the atmosphere was a bit dead and it was chilly. We all had roast dinner 3 of us the beef and one of us the pork. The pork was undercooked and tough and chewy, we made a complaint and the waiter took it back and the chef offered to re cook it. Unfortunately it was no better. The beef wasn’t very well cooked either, it was quite chewy and there wasn’t much of it. The vegetables were.. ok. So many potatoes and carrots, red cabbage (too much spice) and cauliflower cheese was nice enough. The waiter was really great and attentive and friendly and he took the pork off the bill for us which was appreciated. Sadly I would not recommend and I’m not sure what’s happened to this place, such a shame.
