Excellent food, although bit expensive it was worth it i.e. £17 for 2 breakfasts including coffee. Breakfasts based on number of items e.g. 5 items for £8. Food was hot, freshly cooked, staff very friendly and café very clean. Coffee was excellent would definitely go back again & recommend . Felt stuffed after eating

Ordered toasted cheese and onion. Disgusting! Bland tasteless . Onion chopped up raw and crammed into toasted sandwich with barely any cheese. Absolutely no taste. Service was quick hence slap dash food. Never again!!!

Fantastic food and service. Jacket potato and coronation chicken was delicious. As was the tea and coffee. Sat outside in sun. Very enjoyable. Excellent service too

Very good breakfast, extremely friendly service and possibly the cleanest cafe I have ever been to. I have only ever been for bike night in Wednesday in the evening before. I will be back for another breakfast soon.

A cafe that appears to have remain unchanged for many years, and as such its a really valued local resource. Staff were great and the food and coffee were good value and well prepared.

Love cosy village pub, set in gorgeous town Alton Hampshire. The atmosphere is perfect for a cheeky pint in a warming place to visit.
