The best restaurants in East Hampshire South East

Seven members of my family celebrated my Father's 96th birthday with a meal, excellent home cooked food and real ale at reasonable prices served by the lovely Liz.

Don’t bother!! Our usual Chinese take away was closed so we tried Man’s Chinese in Alton. The food was disappointing to say the very least! it was luke warm and completely tasteless, one mouthful and I was left with feeling sick and tummy pains! Wouldn’t even feed it to my dog! £40 of food went straight in the bin!!!!! AVOID AVIOD AVIOD!!!

Had a chips and battered sausage on their lunch deal Lovely chips sausage nice and cooked can’t fault They do a burger and chips deal too at lunch and a oap/lunch fish and chips deal too

I was turned away as they claimed nothing left, but happily served the person behind me just before closing time. The person like me had just arrived so CAMPBELLS REVIEW IS NOT CORRECT they need to red the review first

Amazing food, all well cooked and still hot when I got it home, we had 1 large chips shared between 4 of us which was plenty.

My husband and myself came for lunch on a Friday in August whilst on holiday in the local area. Large pub with gardens near a fairly busy road. Much quieter than expected and we had a good choice of seats in the garden in the sunshine. Was served drinks quickly at the bar by a helpful staff member. Given menus and ordered food. Food came out quickly and was very hot. I had a veggie burger & my husband fish & chips. Tasted great! Definitely no complaints from us. Would recommend.

I recently used Number One The Square for resort suite decoration services to surprise my wife on her birthday, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Nikki was incredibly flexible and transparent throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, even making the best of the situation when the resort unexpectedly upgraded our room. Her attention to detail and dedication truly made the celebration special. I highly recommend Nikki and Number One The Square for any special occasion decorations!

An absolute hidden gem down Sheep Street, great atmosphere, proper locals pub, cheap beer only £1.95 a pint of fosters Mon - Thurs until 6pm

Waiter slagging off customers at kitchen in front of other customers is not professional I know it's weatherspoons but that's not on

I booked a table in the restaurant for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that there was a half hour wait for food. We were fine with this as we understand it was a busy time with it being the fireworks night locally. What we were not prepared for was the unfortunate attitude of the supervisor when we complained to her about it being an excessive wait of one and a half hours for the food. She did not care at all. She was smirking . The food was very nice. But the supervisor did not care that the lateness of the food caused us to miss the fireworks night locally. We thought 2 hours prior to it was adequate enough. Had we been told there was over an hour to wait for food we would have cancelled our booking. I am sure supervisor will not care but we will not be returning. We can overlook food being late but will not overlook the poor attitude of this supervisor that clearly did not give a hoot and actually smirked when we told her we had missed the fireworks.

Nice little pub, few screens for sport, pool and darts ect Clean and staff where nice.

This restaurant has gone downhill. We waited for 40 mins for our starter. Then still waiting for main after 40 minutes after finishing our starters. At no time did any one come and talk to us to explain. We left. This has gone downhill over the last two on this especially moving from table service to having to order at the bar. We are very unlikely to return.
