Very disappointed. Had read reviews and had personal recommendations but didn’t meet our expectations. Although less oil than our regular Chinese takeaway there was little taste won’t be using again

The Lucky Star consistently delivers great Chinese food. With an extensive menu, authentic flavors, good presentation, and remarkable consistency, this Chinese takeaway is a true gem. The friendly staff, prompt service, and reasonable prices further enhance the overall experience. Highly recommended!

We have used this take away on a regular basis over the last few years and its consistency for Chinese great taste is really amazing. The service is always quick, the food is always tasty and hot, and the prices are also very good. Well worth a try if you like your Chinese take away

I live in the denmead area and conside myself a regular along with my gf they are friendly on the phone , have delicious food and service with a smile. I would say it’s best to call ahead or it can be a wait. But I’ve had very little problems and when I have they’ve rectified them quickly. Also it is a little annoying with them only accepting cash or cheques. They’ve had a lot of owners over the years so if people haven’t been in a while I’d recommend it

This is a great small china food shop which you can phone up and order food and you can pick the your order up. The menu is very good.

Food obviously pre cooked and then heated up. Stodgy and disgusting. I'll go to the fish and chip shop in future where the fish is cooked to order.

This is our local Chinese which we've used a lot so are reluctant to give a bad review but we've got fed up with many of the vegetable dishes we've had being so salty they're inedible, they can also go very heavy on the thickener as well resulting all the veg stuck together in a slimy blob, not nice. I think we may have to return to our old Chinese the Lotus House, it's a bit further out but they're cheaper, reward loyalty and give you free prawn crackers too, you don't get any of that with the Lucky Star sadly.

Used to be a regular and it is our closest one but we always go to Lotus House now. They reward loyalty there, portions are bigger, prices are cheaper and you always get free chips and prawn crackers! Came here for years and you never get anything like that. Lucky Star is expensive and I find the food very processed. For example the chicken balls are not only small but the chicken in them is square shaped indicating they come out of a tin. It tastes ok but much prefer the food elsewhere.

Don’t bother!! Our usual Chinese take away was closed so we tried Man’s Chinese in Alton. The food was disappointing to say the very least! it was luke warm and completely tasteless, one mouthful and I was left with feeling sick and tummy pains! Wouldn’t even feed it to my dog! £40 of food went straight in the bin!!!!! AVOID AVIOD AVIOD!!!

Bad service, got order wrong, and the food that I got was disgusting. I will not be using this takeaway again. Very unhappy.
