It's frustrating when a dish doesn't meet expectations at all. Chef definitely added too much umsmi or say sauce to my beef udon noodles. And being cash only adds another layer of inconvenience.

Ting and her team are fantastic. Super speedy service. Food is delicious and freshly cooked...wouldn't get our take away from anyone else! X

We ordered and within 23 mins we were eating - nothing was freshly cooked. The rice had obviously been packed in an aluminium tray last night and was so hard and baked it was tasteless. The sweet and sour ribs were chopped into pieces of gristle, bone and fat, not a full rib in sight. The chefs special noodles were so soft, the accompanying meat/veg was soft and the prawns over cooked. I love to support local business but in case, I will never return.

Very plain looking takeaway. Basic white tiled walls and a very basic bench seat. However, don’t let this put you off. The service is fast and the food was really nice. We had Kung Po chicken and special fried rice. The rice was really fresh tasting and the chicken was lovely. A little spicy but with a really great taste. We’ve been back a couple of times since and the food has always been great. Definitely a case of looks can be deceiving!

Put simply the best chinese takeaway for miles around. Been coming here for many many years. The food is always perfect. Ok delivery may sometimes be late but who cares the food is delicious.

Just found out that they have put there delivery charge up!!!!!!! And the time to deliver has gone up as well,to 1hour and a half,not good!!!!!!!!!! Thinking of going elsewhere as service and food really gone downhill over the last year Used to be the best around but not now it's not really very good !!!!

Not happy at all had raw chicken balls last week phoned strait up had them replaced this week to be raw again and the rice was full of so much oil Still waiting for my refund for 2 egg rice and chicken balls ( as put all on plate to then find out chicken was not cooked) Was told the chicken is bruised that’s why it’s pink Pink is not cooked We have been having food from you for years and we order a lot Don’t no what has gone wrong in the past 2 weeks

If your looking for a great romantic meal, then look elsewhere, this place is getting beyond the joke, 1yr ago it was great, but now it always tastes like it been microwaved, half the order on last 4 orders have been missing, chinese lady is very rude and offers a credit on next order, never have you got the credit, and when you mention it she ignores you, delivery driver beats your door as if he trying to break in, was nice to begin with but now is by far the worst Chinese I've ever had, never again will I order from here again, if your looking for a disaster of a meal then you have come to the right place, don't say I didn't warn you, bon appetite.

We had the Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, House Special Chow Mein and Sesame Prawn Toast. All were delicious ! Would definitely recommend ! 10/10

Best Chinese for 20 miles from us and we've tried a lot! The kids loved it and a very friendly service upon collection too.

My wife and i both have an intolerance to MSG. I asked more than once if any of my order contained MSG, the woman said "NO", that night i thought i was having a heart attack, my wife called the doctor, a medic came and examined me, guess what, my food contained MSG. She bare faced lied to me. Those that don't mind MSG, go ahead, those that value their health, steer clear. I have contacted the local authority, and am waiting to hear what happened.

Was treaed to a takeaway from great friends the other weekend, was a bit concerned as I had reccently had one from dragon valley and it was inedible but wld like to say highly recommended it was fantastic, hot and speedy delivery, a joy to know for future deliveries

I had chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. I felt the chicken balls had too much batter which made them quite sickly, so I left half of them.

Don't let the basic look of this place put you off, the food is really good and, considering it's in the south, the pricing keen. Dishes were a real surprise and one notch up from the usual generic westernised stuff.

Ordering is easy, driver realised something was missing and returned within a few minutes with the item. Good was vety tasty and large portions, chips are fresh and not greasy with just the right amount of salt. Despite ordering the same meals prices seem to fluctuate. On the downside it's cash only

Helen is always helpful, the menu is extensive and the food is consistently good. On occasions, she has generously provided free samples to try. Yum yum!

Just had a take away from China Kitchen, Bordon and it was lovely. Very good quality and generous portion sizes. Highly recommended 👌😊👍.

Tried following numerous recommendations as usually use another local Chinese takeaway but as other have said they always use China Kitchen we thought we'd give it a try. NEVER AGAIN!! We usually have various starters so chose Satay Chicken on skewers, smoke shredded chicken, mini spring rolls and seaweed. The satay chicken had the consistency of pork belly, the sauce just odd. Smoke shredded chicken could be lifted out of the container in one lump, was really sweet and seemed like it had big lumps of sugar on it. Seaweed was fine but how can you mess that up and the spring rolls were ok but possibly slightly over-cooked. We then had the Chicken Chow Mein and sweet and sour chicken. The chow mein was stodgy with the noodles seeming well over-cooked and the sweet and sour chicken was poor quality meat and batter so thick that again was just a stodgy mess that made it feel difficult to digest. . End result, threw half of it away and regretted eating the other half that sat uncomfortably on the stomach. Plus points? You got a free bag of prawn crackers!! Why people choose this over others in the local area is beyond me. Look elsewhere for your Chinese and don't be put off by the outside appearance of the competition, the quality is so much better and this has been proven to us consistently!! If this is the only one open, I'd recommend getting a pizza!!

April 2020 Virus Lockdown. I called these guys tonight and explained I was on the NHS 12 week lockdown as a vererable person and could they deliver. YES delivery no problem, and because I could not get out a 10% discount, No charge for delivery, the late extra of a curry sause was on the house and did I need the driver to drop into tesco on the way up. THANK YOU - YOUR SERVICE IS BRILL.Of the 5 curry take aways in bordon can you guess what one I will now ALWAYS call first. The guys are friendly, effecient, kind and generous. Simply the best.

Been using the takeaway and collect service at least twice a month for the past three years. Never had a bad meal. They are always busy so we order early. Delicious food - friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Extremely POOR service, was told 35 mins and even though I came to collect they barely started it. No apology, no discount ended up cancelling it and going to Dominoes. Honestly although I have places several orders with with (for delivery) even that was poor and always late! Safe to say that after today I will NOT be ordering from them again. Several people whilst I was there hung up the phone and one person cancelled their order and walked out. Never have I been so let down so many times by a takeaway. If I could mark half a star I would.

First ate beef and tomato here when stationed at Bordon Camp from 1978 to 1981 it was fantastic then and looks like it still is

Cold food and gave us a bad stomach, would avoid at all costs, cheap chicken and greasy sauces yuk all around

Not the best place, but nice food

Friendly staff, quick delivery which is only a pound but dissapointed in the food, it wasn't very hot and the meat in the curry was too tough for me to eat.

This was the first time we had ever ordered food from here but had read previous reviews which were good. Our food was superb!! The chicken sweet and sour balls were light and non greasy. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The only comment I would make is if they could put their Menu on line as this nearly put us off ordering as you don't know about the choices and prices. We are definitely going to order again and would highly recommend China Kitchen!!

Really horrible The food tasted soggy like it was microwaved, no flavour tasteless, needed to be crispy on all dishes and they were just not good quality at all sadly i will not be ordering food again.

Well we we're very disappointed in our Chinese tonight hubby ordered chop suey when it came looked like actin of spaghetti!! Our chicken skewers were cooked from night before & just reheated tough as ok'd boots & very dry the satay sauce was meant to be peanut it was rotten !! Put us right off Chinese for a while.....

Bought some chips got home dished them out unable to eat them went straight in the bin they used to be lovely like everything these days done to quick and were frozen or oven chips you need to use fresh potatoes that is the only way to do chips and the time factor is not much more sadly will not be going back.

The chips were terrible went in the bin you need to use proper potatoes not frozen or oven not sure what I had they used to be fantastic chips please take note.

Used it for years, best Chinese without doubt in this area. Very rarely been disappointed and that wasn't with the food, sometimes the delivery can take longer than the 30 - 45 minutes as promised but I guess that's because they are so popular!

Realmente decepcionado. Usamos este para llevar 4 veces en el último año, siempre por el mismo platos y la primera de 3 visitas eran geniales, pero la última noche la comida era como si hubiera estado de almuerzo y recooked. Todos los platos estaban muy salado, las gambas en las bolas de gambas no eran frescos, la pasta era muy oscura, dura y grasienta. Los brotes de soja fueron empapadas con ningún crujido y el dulce y agria pollo estilo Hong Kong era todo clumped/enganchado como si recalentados y no sabor agradable. Habíamos recomendado para llevar a la familia, pero no más. Por desgracia, busca otro sitio para nuestras noches de China.

We always get our takeaway Chinese from here, we've tried others around Bordon but none compare. The service can be sometimes slow on busy days but that's expected, food always arrives hot.

Disgusting food and customer service, telling me that "customer like it like that " no apology, no offer of something else from menu (not that I would eat anything else from there) and no refund.

A well liked place to get a takeaway i think its the best one around bordon all the othere ones use the plastic tubs to put your food in and then you can tast the plastic china kitchen use tin foil containers and it keeps it hotter for longer

I have ordered from China Kitchen many times over the years. I've also tried all the other local Chinese takeaways and overall China Kitchen is my favourite. They do the best Singapore vermicelli rice noodles I've ever tasted. My only complaint is that every time I order my favourite dish of Duck in Sweet & Hot sauce, the Pineapple pieces taste revolting. They need to sort this out because normally I love pineapple. Now I have to be careful not to order any dishes that have pineapple in them!

I will only buy chinese from China Kitchen. After trying all the others in the area it is most definetly the best.Delivery can take a while in busy periods but it is always fresh cooked to order.Superb Mandarin ribs.

The food from here is generally not recommended. It's highly hit and miss. Rice is the worst thing.. It's often so over cooked/ boiled that it's inedible.

Food is good, the only thing that lets it down is the delivery times. On average 1hr30mins. Yup that's right, and it just gets longer with each order.I will not be getting it delivered again, I will be looking elsewhere unless I collect it myself.

I read the other review of this Chinese takeaway in Bordon and I was a bit shocked. China Kitchen is a basic takeaway shop. No frills. But it's always busy which says a lot. I've never had anything delivered but I've always found the take away service great and the food's always really nice

although the food is ok in china kitchen bordon the service, delivery and attitude of the staff are quite frankly disgusting,!We had recently recived a delivery from china kitchen bordon wich not only took 1 hour and 25mins it also arrived cold and the curry sauce was split and in the bottom of the bag (unedible) We decided to give china kitchen bordon another go but this time phone and collect, we told china kitchen bordon of our last experiance and was offerd no apollagies over the phone!I then went to collect, again told them about our last order to which i was greeted with " well it aint like it this time is it" before i could answer, the staff member of china kitchen bordon threw my order ticket to another person saying "i cant be bovered to deal with this " again being greeted with yet more attitude fromanother member of staff from china kitchen bordon saying ( after i had explaind the situation again) " what do you want me to do about it then" agian no apolagies for bad service just absolute attitude to wich i demanded a discount on my food, that i got, but very reluctantly. I will never china kitchen in bordon again
