Ordered balloons for my daughters first birthday party and they were lovely. They also made the process very easy and came and set up and took away anything that was needed very promptly. Will be using them again and would highly recommend!

No set breakfast at all, every item is £1.50. Portions are very small. As the previous review stated,ours was also luke warm food on cold plates. On a positive note, the hot drinks were very good, but because of the pricing, we would not return.

Beautiful place to make a stop, sit inside with its vintage decoration and big window or outside at the terrace, enjoying a coffee with a biscuit or a piece of cake. They also make English breakfast!

With a few sunny days it was great to sit outside this cafetería to watch the world go by, while enjoying a Teacake & coffee. The quality is excellent and the staff are very professional, while being friendly.

Warm breakfast, served on a cold plate, prices were totally unrealistic £1.50 for one small rasher of bacon! Any SINGLE items are £1.50....... Making a small english breakfast... 1 egg 1 sausage 1 rasher of bacon 1 small hash brown 1 tomato Would set you back £7.50 Add a pot of tea and a slice of bread Will take it over £11 for what will be a small breakfast.

Not a pleasant experience. Waiter was rude. As a tourist from the US visiting friends and family and I went to this place. Just to give contest. I didn't have any food or drink with me and was about to place an order. I went inside look around and specifically told waiter for some time to decide. Then, I received a call and sat down to answer it. Within a minute, the waiter came back, demanding that I order or leave. I clearly told that I am in a call and give me min, then he is just looking at my face waiting for me to leave. This behavior was rude;

Lovely family lunch from a wonderful local coffee shop. Number One was busy with locals (which is always a a good sign) but still managed to fit all 10 of our party in. Atmosphere was chilled and comfy, staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much bother. 10 sets of drinks and meals ordered and delivered very promptly. Food was delicious!! I had the brie and chutney Panini, everyone was delighted with their food choices. Highly recommended. Worth booking ahead for large groups and cream teas.

Nikki and her team provided outside catering for our daughters wedding celebration in our garden. The food, service , and overall ability to provide everything we asked for was perfect, Special thanks also to Rob, Courtenay and Zoe for their contributions to making this the perfect day

We asked the team at short notice, and on one of their busiest weekends, to set up a teepee sleepover for my daughter and her friend. They delivered and more! Such a magical experience and my daughter loved it! Would recommend and use again. Thank you very much xxx

Nikki and her team went out of their way to provide gluten free options for my lunch with friends recently. A warm welcome and friendly service. All you could wish for from a much cherished local community hub/cafe.

As always, lovely food, good coffee (that's a personal choice of course), friendly staff, I enjoy sitting outside on days like this!

I ordered an Afternoon Tea to be delivered to my elderly parents in the village. I requested plainish sandwiches, as at 97 and 92, they are not into anything too fancy. Well, they really did do me proud. Scones, jam, clotted cream, selection of sandwiches, selections of cakes and macarons. A very personal service, I cannot rate Nikki highly enough. Will definitely use them again.

Ordered balloons from here. And It was so easy and friendly from the first point of contact. She was honest and paid what was quoted. Ready when it was supposed to be and easy pick up. Highly recommend, my daughter loved them!!! We will be back to sample the food!

Thank you for making my 11 year old daughter’s birthday so special. The sleepover package is such a lovely set up and the girls loved it. The midnight snack bag and breakfast box also gave it that extra special touch. All at a very reasonable Price.

We stumbled across this place as we left our original choice of pub nearby as the wait time for food was too long. So we decided to come here & the service here was amazing they were really friendly and attentive, and we found a cosy seat by the window. We both opted for a panini and a beer, & it hit the spot :) if you want a homely cafe with excellent customer service this is your place.

Oh my gosh! Hubby and I are new to the area buy I think we found out spot. The service, food, lattes and cakes seem to be made and served with love! 1000% recommend!!

I have just enjoyed my first visit to Number 1, which has been a very pleasant experience. My decaf coffee was great, and the berries smoothie-bowl was gorgeous, bursting with fruit and nuts. The lady who runs this place is delightfully friendly and welcoming, and those engaging attributes are on show from her staff too. Despite the nearby traffic, Number 1 is a little haven, and well worth visiting.

A regular coffee stop on our Wednesday group cycle ride from Farnham. Our last visit (April) and today, there was something different. Something good But we just couldn't say what! Definitely more welcoming (a large group of 10+) and more accommodating. We sat outside and the service was fabulous! The coffee and cakes were amazing! Only now I learn that it's under new management, and that certainly explains a lot! Already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended👍🍰☕.

A sweet coffee shop with good coffee, but a bit pricey. An untoasted supermarket white bread bacon sandwich was more than £3. However, the staff don't rush you so it was a nice place to read and watch the rain.

One of the best flat whites I’ve ever had, and amazing coffee&amaretti cake. Very friendly staff who are busy with the antibac keeping everything super clean, it feels very safe.

Just had a really tasty soya mocha, and a to die for salted caramel brownie!! Great service, and lovely and clean!

Fab takeaway milkshakes and toasties during lockdown. Ordered drinks via the click and collect service and then when we arrived we were tempted by food too! Efficient service, great hygiene and social distancing measures in place.

Stopped in here for a coffee with my fiance. Very nice drink at a good price. I would recommend. Beach house is nice with the diving fish tank sound effects. Next time we come to old thorns hotel I think we would revisit.
