New Peking Chinese Take Away Petersfield in East Hampshire

Always have a great service from this take away, have ordered numerous times, great that they deliver, food is always piping hot and delicious.

I looked on my ring doorbell after I had eaten to see the delivery guy picking his nose then handing me my food. We were disgusted. Food was cold and bland. Ribs had hardly any meat. A waste of 30 pound

Disgusting food and they have committed fraud today by pretending to be a superior restaurant then they actually are. When I made a complaint I was told that it is none of my business and they hung up on me 6 times whilst I tried to complain, great customer service !!

DO.NOT.USE! Ordered a takeaway at 6.45pm and was told it would be a maximum of 30 minutes, waited an hour so called and politely asked how long it would be and an incredibly rude lady answered and said it’s being cooked now and delivered shortly… here we are 1hr 45 mins later and still nothing. I called again to see where the food was and quite honestly have never known a response quite like it, the rudest woman I have dealt with in a long time and she hung up as apparently they are too busy. I suggest you stop taking so many orders and concentrate on the ones you’ve taken hours before hand. Also - maybe work on your customer service? #greedy Never ever again will I use them!! Definately stick with Tai Tong Chinese in Petersfield who saved the day, a much friendlier business with fantastic food.

Just had my first takeaway from here and it has been delicious 😋. Tried all the others and I have to say this has been my favourite so far. Great service and great chef. Thank you very much!✅️

Normally happy with the Quality of food here but tonight had spare ribs in curry sauce and it was tasteless and very oily. Will not be ordering again.

I ordered a mushroom curry and while it was tasty a few hours later I had food poisoning. We won’t be ordering or recommending this place again

With so many Chinese food places around, it's hard to get a favourite. In honesty this place does what it needs to. Good food. Good price. Can't argue with that. Cash Only but that's pretty normal.

The food here is not fresh! Dry chicken, putrid beef and congealed sauces has been my experience the last three visits. The vegetable springs rolls lack any vegetables and the prawn crackers are often stale. There are better offerings in the area in my opinion. They are always busy so maybe it’s just me! The staff are polite and premises clean.

Noodles are tasteless salt and pepper chicken covered in grease and prawn toast is burnt quite overpriced for what you get but if your a night worker like my self it will fill a hole Will definitely wait till 5pm when others are open

Really good chinese takeaway food. Rang through with a collection time a few hours ahead, and it was ready for me when I arrived. The only niggle is that I forgot they only take cash and had to stop to get some out on the way over.

Recommended New Peking as they deliver to Liss and are known for decent portions… whilst it was quick and fairly tasty (not the best but not the worst), the portions were very short and I paid £24 for 3 dishes (two of which were veggie?)… worked out to be £19 using their Facebook page menu incl. of £2 delivery, so not sure where the other £5 came from! Also got one of my dishes wrong despite having the order repeated back to me. Probably wouldn’t return despite the poor Chinese options locally.

We ordered this on Boxing Day for three people and it came very quickly and was composed of tasty food in big portions. Very nice.

I'm normally so sceptical when ordering a takeaway for many reasons but the food was lovely I got the salt and pepper shredded chicken and egg fried rice which wad really good but the service was a bit rude on phone and in shop as someone was picking up they're dinner and asked for some plastic cutlery and lady on counter completely ignored them also got told to hurry up on phone before hand but food was nice so thats what I was there for

They obviously changed the cook as their dishes are not that good anymore.

We made a large order for delivery (£125). The food was ok, about average really nothing special. But the order was incorrect so we had to pay an extra £32 to complete the order. We asked for six portions of chicken balls and they thought we wanted 6 chicken balls!? They sent 12 single chicken balls - two half portions, which was wrong anyway?? Then when the missing items turned up we actually had to pay an extra £35.50 because the person who told us the amount on the phone got it wrong but insisted we pay the the full amount even though it was their error. We won't be ordering again from them!!

The new chef at this restaurant is fantastic! Superb food and fantastic service. At last some quality Chinese food in Petersfield. 5 stars *****

Chowmein and black bean sauce delicious, dumpling very nice and mixed meat special curry really nice. Rice could have been fluffier and some soy sauce for the dumpling. Would recommend!

Our favourite Chinese takeaway by far. We tend to order the same and it's very tasty. Sometimes veer off piste and are rarely disappointed. Very friendly service and we go there a it too frequently! In case you were wondering... Sweet and sour chicken Hong-Kong style, egg fried rice and sesame prawn toast. About to dig in now...!

The second time I have been here. Very tasty....but all tasted the same. I ordered chicken in black bean sauce and special fried rice. I knew which one was the rice. .because it had rice in it..and one prawn. It didn't taste fresh. Good value for money though...it'll do me 2 days. I'll not be back...
