Having been going to get my burgers/kebabs as well as our Fish and Chips since moving here 4 years ago. Never had a bad meal and always portions larger than I need. Once, when closed on a bank holiday, i went into Herne Bay as I fancied F&C. Glad I had my credit card with me, didn’t know the difference in price to Beltinge, 20-30% MORE. If your of “more mature” years like myself, give the OAP portions a try, more than enough Fish, Chips and mushy peas for £8. Parking can be a but hit and miss and you will have to wait while fish cooked, as sometimes he can’t keep up! Not surprising though

Nice place but shame we weren’t allowed to sit there. As soon as we got in the guy said takeaway only. He was incredibly rude and told us it’s takeaway only many times whilst ordering as my kids sat down waiting for our drinks. He also told us the toilet was out of order which looking at other reviews, seems to be the case all the time! The drinks were ok, the lobster tails were not bad but service very poor. Wouldn’t recommend.

I go there often, but recently their service hasn't been the best. The place is too cold now and the shisha is poor and it dies quickly. Also the owner feels that it is necessary to message me privately saying I told my friend to write a bad review so I thought I would write my own review. I will give you 1 piece of advice, don't get close with the owner, otherwise he will get upset if you go to another shisha place.

The absolute worst. A brilliant Chinese if you are after something that is purely conceptual. I blame myself for trying it again. 3 orders and 2 failed deliveries. Ordered at 7 and no sign at 9.20. I had to ring them. The woman on the phone could not have cared less. You've got more chance of getting service quickly from A&E than A&R.

In the center of the medieval Canterbury is an old and delicious restaurant named for the famous Trapiste, which serves typical Belgian food (although we are in England). This local place is a cross between a bar, a tea room, and a restaurant. In addition to a wide selection of beers, you can enjoy tasty dishes like the exceptional burgers served with homemade bread, or the special tea served with cream. The restaurant has a rustic feel, and each and every chair is a different style. The terrace is splendid, and there is even a gazebo, decorated with tiny lights, which make you feel like you are surrounded by stars in the midst of these beautiful medieval buildings.

Called on for Sunday lunch as had not been for a while. Two roast lunch dishes available which was served with a separate dish of 4 vegetables. Good selection of beers and when asked what wine they had was afforded a selection of 6. Prices were competitive, service attentive and atmosphere good. Will we come again - definitely.

We were a table for ten people this evening, and had a big party platter of assorted sushi, absolutely exquisite! The mackerel was divine, as was the salmon and the sweet prawn. Followed that up with Bao buns with pork and bbq, miso soup, chicken ramen and steak and egg noodles, and a grilled mackerel. All were exceptional. Really fresh, very tasty and so nicely presented. The service was excellent, the staff all so friendly and very patient. We’ll definitely be returning, as it was also such good value for money. Top night out.
