The best stone baked pizza in town by the best chef vami as well ♥︎ made by love and passion become the best and healthiest Sourdough pizza I ever tasted! The tiramisu was so light and melted on my mouth. The best things is, it's without alcohol! Halal tiramisu was quite rare around the city. Definitely will recommends to everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here. The pizza Chef Liam made was one of the best I have ever had. Assistant Manager Cameron ensured everything ran smoothly and efficiently. If you're in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. 10/10, highly recommend!

I visited here fairly recently and Chef Liam made exquisite pizza! I was very pleased with the service I received from the assistant manager Cameron - they made me feel very welcomed. Would highly recommend.

I go here almost every day and I am warmly welcomed. Today, for the first time, I asked the chef what his name was. He always kindly told me that his name was David. I told him that I love the pizza he makes me. I am really excited and I invite you all to taste the pizza here.

We absolutely Love Franco Manca, Canterbury. The pizza is both traditional in so far as one can order an excellent marguerita, and original, due to unique pizza combinations, excellent dough, and exceptional ingredients, cooked at perfect temperature. We've visited many times - often at the childrens' request - and even when the restaurant is at full capacity the service personnel are professional, focused, graceful and friendly. The wine list is well balanced and the No Logo ale is superb. It all makes for a most enjoyable experience, and we would highly recommend this establishment to the more discerning diner who appreciates an extra little twist of character.

Pizzas were good, garlic pizza not so much. Service was terrible, not friendly at all and even the desserts were just left on the table with a comment 'I will just leave these here for you'. Maybe staff just wanted to be home to celebrate New Year's Eve. Didn't pay the 'optional service charge' and was not even asked why.

The people on service were quite friendly but unfortunately the food wasn't the best. The pizza dough in the center and even in the crust was still raw. One pizza was a bit better than the other but still raw. Definitely needed a few more minutes of cooking

The staff were superbly helpful and comical, wine was good and the pizza was literally, on point. Also bought a bottle of garlic olive oil too as it's lovely. Would recommend coming here to anyone and won't be long before I'm back.

Accepted takeaway order but then closed the restaurant before making the order then cancelled about an hour later! Leaving a large group with no food! The delivery driver was the one in the end to notify us that the restaurant was closed

My girlfriend and I come here quite often and always love the food. However, nine times out of ten those we see seated after us get served first and eat far before we do. We are here now and have been waiting for food for an hour whilst the couple next to us arrived 15 minutes after and are almost finished with their meal. Very unfortunate as I would love to give this place a 5 star if it wasn't for the service. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A PRE SHOW MEAL IF YOU ARE VISITING THE THEATRE

The best pizza we’ve ever had in this country!! The staff are kind and very helpful, the pizza is freshly made and can be customised to taste… The restaurant also has a very pleasant atmosphere.

Had another amazing meal at Franco Manca Canterbury. We were greeting and seated immediately. The staff were kind and saw to us promptly. The food quality was amazing as always. The restaurant is very well run by Manager Sergio and it’s great to see him back. If you want to eat authentic sour dough Italian pizza here is the place to do it. See you all soon

Midweek so didn't book, tables were available. Pizza was big - couldn't really finish it - and tasty, excellent value.

Shared a veggie platter and veg special pizza for lunch. Both excellent quality and taste. Staff very efficient. Medium prices for food and drinks. Would recommend.

Luch with my client here today, He has issues with social anxiety and eating out in public. But Franco Manca was brilliant. They seated us in a quieter part of thd restaurant, gave us time to look at the menu and the service was quick so we weren't waiting to long. The food was great, so thank you so much. Great service and very good place!

The team at Canterbury Franco Mancs really went out of their way to accommodate our big booking for 24 people at very short notice. Very helpful in relation to special dietary considerations and really went out of their way to enable access for a wheelchair user in our group. Great service, lovely team.

For 1st time was a good experience, staff were happy to help as two of my guest were either vegan or gluten free, for gluten free they couldn't guarantee that no food contamination would occur, so my guest settled for salad and other stuff. Overall very good

They make great sourdough pizzas. All freshly made on site, in a highly visible kitchen 😁 While it does not pretend to be a cheap eatery...it is good, with a lively atmosphere, bang in the middle of town.

We went for a day trip to Cambridge from London and we decided to have lunch at Franco Manca to enjoy our weekly pizza. The pizza was delicious and was served super quickly. Jess who took our order has been super professional, friendly and kind, we rarely see this level of commitment nowadays but she was a perfect host!

Well, popped in on Saturday night.the reviews seemed to indicate this would be a good choice. It was chaotic. Poor service wrong orders.the table by the door sent back their food twice before we ordered. Ours was also under cooked. I liked the fact we were brought a glass of wine( which we hadn't ordered) I then saw it sit for at least half hour on the side before given to another table...just really poor all round. Maybe just a bad day.but won't go again. buyer beware!!

Well I was totally disappointed with the pizza.. soggy middle and the so called organic tomato came from a squizzy bottle.. Hardly any taste.. basil 3 leaves !! I would definitely not use this place again...

I've eaten both takeaway and at their restaurant several times, and it's been always amazing. I have a diary allergy and they are always great at making any modifications needed. All the staff is very friendly, specially one of their managers, Maria, who usually supervises one in Brighton. Definitely one if not the best pizza place in Canterbury.

Most tasty pizza, their dough is out of this world. The staff in Canterbury is amazing, relaxed and always keen to help. We changed a couple of items and both times the service was impeccable. The restaurant room is okay, could be a bit more cozy especially when there are not too many people. Separating better the takeaway area from the dine-in would help. Also turning down (off) the air-con would go a long way.

Excellent pizza in a clean and simple environment with low prices compared to what you see in the UK

If you are nostalgic for Neapolitan pizza, it is an excellent choice! Leavened dough, light and absolutely not heavy. Good tomato sauce, acceptable mozzarella and essential basil leaves. For us, after 15 days in the UK, it was a good way to change flavours

So weird they serve coffee in water glasses. Not enough at all for the price and feeling of wanting to have coffee. Dissatisfied completly

First time visiting the place with our son who graduated from University that day. The town, people and kathedral, were worth visiting. This was the first time we had sourdough pizzas. Really delicious.

Pizza is not too bad ...even though for an Italian there are to many weird toppings. There is only one real Neapolitan pizza on the menu. Service is good and quick, however, music is too loud.

My and my girlfriend come to this restaurant a lot!! Everytime we come it is lovely. It’s got a beautiful layout with great chefs who cook and prepare delicious food very fast. The FOH staff are very kind, talkative, and are very helpful. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone as it is lovely food for a great price and the staff treat you with respect along with a sense of attentiveness which is very hard to find in restaurants nowadays.

My partner and I visited recently on a Friday night just for a little date night and were enthralled by the service we received. We have been to the Canterbury Franco Manca a few times and have always enjoyed our time. Tonight we were served by Mana who we later found out was actually cover from the Brighton restaurant. Although the restaurant seemed a little short on FOH staff, the food and service were by no means compromised. Mana and the rest of the staff were all so welcoming during our meal, checking in with us about the food and drinks, giving recommendations, and making friendly conversation throughout. Mana informed us of all the latest deals as well as the app (something neither of us had noticed before but we will now be collecting our stamps every time!) and even took the time at the end of the meal to help answer a question I had about the app for future. We were reassured throughout the night by staff as they were so attentive. Mana so kindly comped our two desserts at the end of the meal as she felt that the service received that evening by her wasn’t to standard (as much as we disagree). Highly recommend Franco Manca for a lunch or evening meal! Great quality food and drinks and impeccable service every time, all for a fantastic price :)

Lovely pizza and it wasnt too busy so we didn't have to wait long, the Korean bbq pizza was delicious and their homemade organic lemonade was good

it was mine and my partners first time going to franco. we were greeted and seated straight away and we have a lovely server called Jack who made our time very enjoyable. the food was extremely quick and he made sure everything was okay. would definitely go again as it was a great experience: the food was delicious and was very afforable also !

I have been here many times, and everything was wonderful. Because it was so good every time, I recommended to our friends with which we came today here. We were the first people at 12. The lady opened the door and asked how many people. We said a table of 9, and she asked us if we have a booking. We said no, and then she closed the door and said that will go to see what she can do. Just to remember, the restaurant was empty. Waited 10 minutes, and no one got back to us. So we left and never come back. Apparently some people don't like more clients.

Just a pizzeria English style. Impressive: the memory of the waitress: 12 dishes plus extras and drinks just kept in mind.

Always love our family trips to Franco Manca, never had a bad experience. This time our waiter Jack was great. Took our order perfectly off memory and was very good at accommodating the needs of our two young children. Always leave having enjoyed great pizza with great service. Our fave spot to eat in Canterbury.

Difficult to make a bad pizza but Franco Manca managed, hats off! Hardly any toppings on one, literally one mushroom stalk (on number 4). Worst pizzas I have eaten IN YEARS.

Franco Manca is always one of my favourite if I'm craving for pizza. I like sourdough pizza and their dough is good. Service is always top and atmosphere is so classy. I'll better book my table next rather then wait because most of times it's busy 😅

A little expensive I didn't expect it

Went to Canterbury a couple of days ago and Joe and I were served by Handsome Jack :) Great service and took care of us incl. allowing us to take our left over pizza home in a box. Will definately go back. Just one wee request, could you give customers a loyalty card? Would encourage us to return :)

The pizza is quite thin and one can be very filling. So full that you can’t remember whether it tastes good or not. Anyway, I’m full.

Brilliant lunch at Franco Manca today. Enjoyed a lovely number 8 whilst my partner enjoyed a number 4 which I preferred if I’m completely honest. Alex gave us great service and seemed on it with the fact that it appeared to just be him and a chef solo. Overall, a great pizza/italian spot in the heart of Canterbury, will be coming back.

My favourite pizza on Canterbury, have ordered multiple times and never had anything but yummyness. Unfortunately today I order a veg special and received a completely different pizza that I couldn't identify from the menu which included mushrooms which I hate!! Such a shame for otherwise flawless pizza !! Uber has refunded straight away.... but after this I'll probably only ever go in to eat rather than get it delivered.

We were absolutely blown away with this place. Right in the Centre of Canterbury we dined on Hot, Fresh & delicious pizza. The dough is outstanding. Tastes just like what we enjoyed in Italy. The service was fast and courteous. Prices were very reasonable. They also serve their own brewed beer and it was a perfect pairing with the pizza. Definitely coming back here soon!

We liked the place and although the pizzas were tasty, I found the tops not distributed very well and a little scarce in of the pizzas. One of the pizzas had ham which was lump in a line rather than all over the pizza.

Our pizza and mixed salad were good. The toppings could have been more generous but the texture and taste of the sour dough pizza base was outstanding. There was a delay in our order but the waitress made up for it and was very friendly.

Poor quality pizza, poor service. By the time the pizza is ready and the time it gets to the table after applying garnish it's cold.
