Our first time eating at this restaurant, Very good food and would highly recommend. We would definitely order from this restaurant again.

We came here for lunch today as we always do on our way to Broadstairs. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The gentlemen serving is always friendly and the food is really good. Highly recommended.

Went expecting more American style BBQ and ended up having amazing Mexican Food!!!! So hard to find good mexican 🌮🌯 food here in the UK so very pleased!!! Highly recommend the Chimichanga!!! The Beef was moist, tender and full of flavour!!!!

Food has always been 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟 and good value. The deco needs urgent attention but if what you want is just to have a good meal this is the perfect place to go. My favourite is the prawns fajita but every meal is tasty and generous

Food way too expensive, I ordered the jalapeno poppers paid £7.50 only for 3 and a small tub of salsa, the burrito wasn’t even in the shape of a burrito and half the fillings where on the outside not only that but the shredded beef inside tasted a bit funny, I wouldn’t order from here again. Not impressed with the quality of food especially for that price range

Away for work in Herne Bay I needed a place to eat. I walked in and asked a lady if there was space for a table for one, to which she looked at me with a confused look like I was some sort of weirdo eating by myself. She then just pointed to the back of the restaurant so I made my own way to a table (big customer service no no). I then sat down and another lady approached asking if I’d like a drink, I said no I’m okay thank you but I’m ready to order. I ordered my food and no more than 2 minutes went by and the lady that took my order returned asking me to pay the bill? I said that’s not what usually happens, to which she replied “restaurant rules”. So I got my cash out reluctantly and gave it to the lady whilst questioning the lack of customer service I had just experienced. She had nothing to say but to shrug it off so I asked for my cash back and left the building telling the First Lady that she had just lost a customer. It’s such a shame because this looked like a great place to eat, atmosphere looked good and the food looked amazing which is why I still have moderately high stars for. I was excited to eat here after seeing some good reviews but unfortunately I never got that far. When I left I asked a local family nearby where there was any nice places to eat and they recommended A La Turka. I went there and had the most amazing meal, combined with excellent customer service and a lovely atmosphere. Discrimination is not okay and this restaurant should be ashamed of their staff who are not demonstrating good standards of customer service. The only way I would return back here to work is if you was to pay my bill!! R.I.P customer service in Saloon Bar & Grill

I went to this restaurant this afternoon & was not at all impressed. We had a burger each and our little one had a burger. The patties were obviously brought in and not done fresh which is a shame. The lettuce was very sad and not fresh at all The service was okay they brought out a chilli hat for the little one which I thought was a bit odd, also raised a concern how regularly it’s washed. But a nice touch for a toddler she seemed to get a laugh out of it. Small portion sizes considering the price, generally quite a poor experience

We ordered £70 worth of food and unfortunately there was an issue with one of the more expensive items missing; I called up and explained and the lady who helped war wonderfullly helpful and apologetic. We would happily order from them again, everyone loved their food!

Most incredible place to go in the area, chose the potato skin starters, which were delicious and perfectly presented, then the steak fajitas which melted in our mouths, then the churros desserts. The banana mama cocktails are heavenly throughly recommend. Interior design is flawless and well worth the visit to see and enjoy, waiter was friendly and served us perfectly and food was quick to arrive. We also managed to park right outside too which is perfect for a nice evening romantic meal. Visit here if you are looking for a nice meal and delicious drinks. Couldn’t have picked a nicer place. We will be back for sure!!

Very expensive and not worth the price…. Rack of ribs came and were basically 3 small ribs with no meat. Plenty of other places to eat for this price which have a lot better food

Yet another fantasic meal in here today. It never disappoints. Today we had the lunch special, two courses for £14.95. Food cooked to perfection. Service always friendly and welcomming. We shall return. Dog friendly in the attractive garden as well.

We were seated very quickly and our drinks order was taken, a few minutes later they arrived and we ordered our food. The food was hot and very very tasty when it come out. We will be coming again.

As a family we have been to Saloon before several times and always really enjoyed the food and the service but our most recent visit in April was disappointing. I feel like the chef has been changed as this time the food was not good. I ordered a vegetarian chimichanga and it was bland and was filled with long beans instead of peppers erc, had no taste, rice was mushy, beans were flavourless. My family ordered the chicken fajitas and said the chicken was far too spicy and very over salted. They didn't enjoy. The drinks were nice and service was fine but I'm not sure if we'll go back to risk unpleasant food again.

The burrito is quite dry by itself. Especially the filling. Which is why the portions of beans in sauce, salad, guacamole and sour cream on the side is very important. Luckily this place does great portions consistently. Quite pricy for what you get, but the food is good.

Took my wife here for her birthday, midweek lunchtime, so quiet but had a lovely meal with friendly service, Everything was obviously cooked fresh. Plenty of choice on the menu, with many Gluten free options so my wife had plenty to choose from. Overall a really good experience. Will definitely go again.

Food delivered finally after 3 hours, the nachos were cold, chorizo uncooked, quesadilla sauce was like water in consistency and very cold, quesadillas had hardly any cheese in them so wouldn't hold together to dip anyway. Just disappointed as its so expensive here now and the food quality is getting worse. Plus no one wants to wait 3 hours, especially with no updates, I thought they weren't going to bother.

Superb food, lovely staff and nice setting. We will be going back and we will get a desert next time.

Cold, flavourless, pathetic sprinkle of side salad with brown lettuce, deserts were ok but £20 for a so called paella is expensive especially when hardly any seafood and no flavour- first time ordering and last time ordering AVOID!!!

Although the food was amazing, it was pure luck my food arrived hot due to the lad running very late. I ordered my food for 6pm not waaay later... it's a shame cos it' reflects back on the chef's cooking food that I and others eat. there's no point asking for a point in time you want the food because it always arrives late. the drivers need to make the delivery ordered time or drive faster.

Did ask for my order to come at 17:45pm not alot later. however the food was outstanding.

The restaurant is authentically decorated, which along with the music playing in the background, creates a great atmosphere. Amazing food, beautifully presented, plentiful and full of flavour. Staff are friendly and attentive. If you like somewhere different, you’ll love this place. We went back a second time and we were only in Herne Bay for 5 days!

Me and friends went for dinner absolutely loved this place. Cocktails delicious, banana puddings and so many lovely flavours. We are definitely planning our next visit. 10/10 services was also brilliant.

First time ordering and food was amazing!! Nachos fully loaded, burrito was packed and very filling, chicken burger I was told was also really nice so everyone’s happy! Looking forward to trying more items on the menu

My beef burrito was 10/10. The vibe and the service was excellent. Wetherspoons, next door but one, was crowded with people for Tuesday Steak club but Saloon has a lunch menu that's a similar price and significantly better. Wetherspoons customers don't know what they're missing.

Food quality very poor for a restaurant. Meat was pink and food on the whole was cold. Contacted restaurant who informed me that they would speak to the chefs regarding the pink chicken and to contact just eat for a refund as nothing could be done. Bad quality for a £75 order and will not be recommending or ordering again!

Delivery was over an hour late due to no courier being found

The restaurant's 4.4 score is a bit perplexing upon closer inspection. While the interior boasts charming decor and the garden seating adds a pleasant touch, the culinary experience falls short. Although the food was serviceable and fulfilled its role of satiating hunger, it lacked the satisfaction that makes dining enjoyable. The Seafood paella was more like a risotto, probably made in a saucepan, the peppers were probably frozen because they were soft and soggy. The seafood was also most likely a cheap frozen seafood mix consisting of mussle meat, (squid rings which were soft and mushy could actually mush it with a fork) and pieces of what appeared to be cut octopus and a few tiny shrimps along with soggy seafood crab sticks cut into pieces. It had 1 grilled prawn on top which was also kind of mushy. The taste over all was very bland. Also had burgers, they were pretty standard, nothing to get excited about. The bun was toasted on ths grill which was a nice touch. The chips tasted like budget chips.

We went in on a whim,having been there about a year ago. The first time being a good effort. Once again the food was very tasty and served in good time. The vegetable questillias were great! I then had a chicken burrito that hit the mark. We both felt well fed at a fair price. There wasn't much wrong with the service things were brought in good order when requested e.t.c. The atmosphere has taken a bit of a hit as we were the only ones there! Will go back.

Worst steak I've EVER had. Tbone. Under weight & over cooked. I sent the 1st one back but the 2nd was not much better. I left it on my plate. I paid but shouldn't have. All the staff were lovely though. Just a shame the Chef can't cook.a Tbone. £30.00 LOSS. So Very disappointed. On the flip side though the best hallumi fries I've ever had.

Food is nice and hot. The seafood paella i ordered just tasted of salt, nothing else really disappointing

Delicious food. Great service. Catered well for children. Lovely location and spacious restaurant. There were 13 of us and every meal was great. Only improvement would be to add some veg to the kids meals. Very good value 2 course lunch menu and good sized portions. Definitely recommend.

Food is always delicious, it can be expensive, but it’s always worth it and I often have left overs the next day!

Very interesting place, decor was very fun. Food was delicious and cocktails were strong. Didn't get checked on by the waitress often, but it seemed to only be her on the floor serving all the tables, and she was doing a good job, so not a complaint just an observation. Would return again if in the area.

Found by accident as we were looking to go to a restaurant nearby but thought to expensive for lunch so came to the saloon. Excellent Mexican food reasonably priced and very good service, will definitely return and recommend

Taco Corn shells are something special, amazing and yet so simple…have 3-4 of these reasonably priced delicacies for a real feast…keep up the great work guys!

We visited her twice in 4 days on a family trip away. Service is wicked and the food is really good. Nice Mexican food, burger was so so. Cocktails were nice. Go for the Mexican food and service.

Fabulous meal with family, so lovely to catch up we were too busy chatting to choose from the menu as the choice is plentiful! After the fourth time of asking, we had finally decided and wasn't disappointed in any of the dishes. If for dessert you're ordering churros, do not share and have one to yourself! Delicious 🤗

We stopped here on our way to Broadstairs. A lovely decorated restaurant on the front that sadly wasnt busy. Beautifully cooked food, a friendly waiter and good pricing. If you love somewhere different give this place a try.

Food delivered was wrong and salad looks like it has been shaken around,ring the restaurant to inform them of the mistake and got told they couldn’t do anything about it

Was really looking forward to trying here but was quite disappointed. Food wasn’t hot and burger buns were soaked and fell apart. Chips were really soggy and not even half a box - really small portion. The burger was tasty and I expect would be really nice hot. Very expensive for what it was.

I ordered my food over an hour before I wanted it delivered and it was still 20 minutes late. For the price, portion sizes were absolutely terrible. Nearly £7 for 3 tiny churros. Won’t be ordering again.

Burrito in my view includes refried beans, guacamole and other flavours, this was lots of rice with a tomato flavour, and a bit of chicken. And for a ridiculous price!

Stunning restaurant. We had the best dinner ever, their starters were soooo yummy and we had a paella for dinner was very delicious, the best one we've eaten so far. Highly recommend this place!!

Had the seafood risotto , not nice , to make up the lack of any seafood it was made up with crab sticks _ yuck and just one very charred overcooked prawn , left most of it !

Visited last night whilst staying in the area, from the street the restaurant looks small and quiet. But once we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed and the restaurant was bright and clean, the theme was mexican and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. The waiter was exceptional and had a great balance between being friendly and respectful. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the burrito and chicken and prawn fajitas which were some of the best mexican food I have ever had. The cocktails were amazing and the Mojitos were the best I have had. Value for money was brilliant and we had a great evening.

Seems the prices have increased but the dishes no longer come with salad, guacamole or sour cream. Still get the pinto beans, and not forgetting 3 slices of chilli! Food (burrito and enchiladas) was nice, but shame about massive onions

Expensive and small portion for chilli and not fresh £15.95 for micro wave small chilli con carne the owner states cooked fresh when it comes out to you in 3 mins I don’t think so only thing fresh is the cut chilli on top was told if you book with just eat it’s cheaper also menus on web states £10.95 when you ring to complain you get the previous owners number for the price I paid could of had a four course Indian for two so be wary of the food prices

Rip off prices 15.95 for a small container of chille which was microwaved owner claim it wasn’t but it took 4 mins to come out restaurant down road 10.95 if you want to get good value chille go to supermarket
