The best restaurants in Canterbury South East

Pure rubbish. Prawn toast = fried bread, all fried food from the freezer. Not Thai at all, greasy frozen food.. don’t bother.

Coffee nice -but whole place needs a good clean - and it was not busy - bench seats full of food crumbs - table dirty - not a very nice environment

Friendly, beautiful and welcoming place. We had a truly fantastic breakfast here! The coffee was perfect and I really enjoyed the fresh orange juice. The decor is clean, lovely and homely, such a wonderful place to be! Thank you to you all for such a wonderful morning and for a happy welcome! We will definitely be coming back again and again! Highly recommend.

Very good. Really tasty. The staff are great at Chopstix, they work hard and cook great food. The chow mien was really tasty, would have been better as very few vegetables, I was expecting few green beans and there weren't any but still nice.

I loved the food here, but found the service a little slow. Guess it is understandable when we all want to eat before a show

First time here this evening and everything was on point. Lived in Thailand for 11 years; so I’m Always skeptical as where to eat authentic Thai in the UK. Great experience. No messing around with the spice when it came to the Laab Gai. Plenty of Chang. Perfect staff ❤️ 10/10

We went for our son's 21st birthday and were not disappointed. They had a nice card waiting for him. Food was gorgeous and the sharing mains were huge. The beef short ribs could not be finished between my 21 year old son and husband. That is saying something. The Jerusalem artichoke Rosliston, potatoes puree and leek and potatoes plithiver and beef steak and short ribs delicious. Cod roe with pickled beetroot another winner. Also loved that you get tap water without asking (ask for still) instead of expensive poncy bottles. And wine was carefully served so it helped last throughout the meal. Ladies restrooms were lovely and clean and staff attentive but not hovering. Only drawback was the table of 12-ish people were loud, especially as the wine flowed and full tummies. But they were definitely enjoying the food and drink!

Whitstable you lucky people!! You have one of the best smoke houses I have even been too on your doorstep! Greated with the warmest welcome by people who are proud of their restaurant and the food it's producing!! And rightly so, the meats are cooked to perfection, with outstanding flavour in every mouthful... we travelled down from Chatham and its was worth the journey.. if you haven't been, then you need to, this place has everything. Thank you for a great evening everyone! See you again soon.
