First time tonight with my boyfriend, and all I can say is omg we will definitely be back , the waitress was friendly, very chatty and knew what she was talking about she suggested a shared dish and she was so right , lovely dinner lovely staff we will definitely be back xx

Wow, what an evening! We visited Street Kings Smoke Shack last night for the first time for my partners birthday; being a party of 20 and the restaurant only being a 16 seat venue this wasn’t going to be easy for them but from the very beginning they were all so accommodating and nothing felt like too much trouble. The food arrived promptly and amazingly all at the same time, and wow the food was incredible. The kids meals looked great, were a good portion size and were enjoyed by all 8 children aging 3 - 16 years, the adults all had the king platters which we’re out of this world, I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite part, as all of the food including the sides, was honestly just so tasty and the Mac and cheese was too die for. We all had such a an amazing meal and had a great evening so thank you Street Kings Smoke Shack we will definitely be back.

Came here for dinner with my dad and we were definitely not disappointed! Everything was 10/10, the food, the service and the music! Will definitely be back again.

Went here Saturday evening and the food was great. Loved the music playing and the decor service was quick and friendly. The meat was smoked and barbecued to perfection. This restaurant is a great addition to Whitstable. We will be coming back again to try other bits on menu. The seasoned fries are a must try best fries I've had. There were no faults to this meal every bit of the experience was wonderful

Went for Sunday brunch music was too loud and couldn’t hear anything the waitress was saying had nothing advertised on the menu like Mac and cheese the prices for drinks are abysmal cans of Coke Zero was £2.50 each it would have been better price and quality going to big easy at Bluewater p.s thankyou for your speedy reply to this review as you did point out the price of Nando's coke being £3.50 ...... there's are refillable :)

Went for lunch at around 12.40..... Out by 13.50 which was fine main problem was food ran out no ice for drinks was told the staff would get some ice never turned up..... Service was not good to be honest I'd avoid and try other closer restaurants

We visited last night for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. The food was delicious. We had two king platters (between four of us) and everything was smoked and cooked to perfection. The service was amazing, very fast and friendly. We couldn't fault anything. This is a real gem and quite unlike anything in the area. Definitely going back to try out some of the other dishes.

Great little place. Very basic but the food speaks for itself. Really enjoyed the food. Main course Ribs....oh oh so soft. Highly recommended. We will come again for sure.

First time in The Smoke Shack. It was sooooo good. The service was friendly and informal. The music was perfect for a Sunday bottomless bbq brunch. The food was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth, finger licking tasties. I especially liked the chicken wings. A plate with a mixture of salty sweet and bbq flavours. Thanks Smoke Shack!

The BBQ food was excellent, good flavour and good balance of sauces to meats - the slow cooking really pays off. The restaurant space is fairly small and basic (but clean and warm!), but that is what you'd expect of a "BBQ shack" experience,

Went there on a Friday night after being recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed at all. The staff are really great, friendly and helpful. Explained all the options available and offered recommendations. Ordered the current offer, 2 courses for £20 but couldn't resist trying the brisket, well worth the extra £5. Food was amazing. Great presentation and amazing flavours. We ordered a portion of chips to share alongside a main course each and the amount of food was just right. Already planning our next visit, will likely make this a regular choice for a meal out, a great discovery, highly recommended.

Amazing food and amazing service. Our server I believe her name was Sofia was so friendly and inviting. Always making sure we were ok and loved hearing her stories of how the family restaurant started. All the food was top notch and the brisket especially was out of this world! Would definitely come and again and recommend. Just make sure you come with an empty stomach as there is sooo much food! 10/10!

Upon reading some reviews, I did have doubts. But from the moment we walked in the door we was greeted by a young man who was our waiter and chef for the evening. He was very polite and the food was amazing.. I definitely recommend this restaurant…

Great BBQ all round and good deal with the bottomless brunch - especially the wings with the dry rub. Even the Mac and cheese was nice not just an add on. Very accommodating for a group of 6 too considering there's not tons of space inside . Will definitely be going back to try more!

I had such an amazing experience! Although I am vegan, I was accommodated and served vegan food that tasted better than any other vegan dishes that I had before! Definitely worth going with friends and family, in a hospitable atmosphere with great music 😁.

Great food, brisket was lovely and tender, cornbread was delicious (and not salty like some places make it). Pork belly starter wasn't to my taste, but the bao bun starters were absolutely brilliant. Children all loved the mac and cheese. Owner was really welcoming and make our children feel welcome too. A great selection of food from a small kitchen. Well worth booking ahead during the summer as there are only a small number of tables. Will be a must-visit for us when in Whitstable

I'm writing this with full awareness that the owners will undermine me and come at me on their Facebook page as this is what they have been doing to customers that have an opinion they don't like. My wife and I saw this on social media and what looked like amazing food and service. I promptly booked a date night there. We booked for 7pm and arrived at 1845. Its a small venue, like really small. So when we walked in we were not greeted straight away and when we did there was no hello or pleasant welcome. We were told we had to go away and come back at 7pm on our booking. I found this to be rude, as there was a table there for 2, so they had the space. This looks to be a policy implemented regardless of the situation. We arrived back at 7pm to a better welcome, and was sat on the table that was tiny. We decided to order 'The King's taster' so we could experience as much as we could in one, which was also recommended by the waitress. We ate it, as it cost a stupid amount of money for what we got. We got enough on this plater for 1 person. The ribs were dry and bland, the belly pork was chewy and bland, the Pulled Pork was dry but tasted good, the sausages were out of this world delicious and the chicken was fresh cooked, hot and full of flavour. The Mac & Cheese had a real intense flavour, a side is more than enough for this. The side of chips I put on the side were extortionate, £4 for the tiniest bowl known to man. These did however taste very good, just so not worth the money you pay for them. The home made BBQ beans were tasty, however there was no hint of BBQ at all. When we were asked how everything was, we said all the above and the waitress accepted what was said and our comments would be passed on to the chef. She advised the Pulled pork we had was meant to sit in its own fluid but this batch didn't that's why it was dry.

Absolutely shocking walked in and felt like I stepped in a prison cell . Was sat at a table that was no bigger that my bed side table .and when asked to move we was told that if a table of four come in we will have to move back with all our food..the place is not big enough to be a restaurant.seats were that sticky I stuck a napkin on seat before sat down .Had to ask for cutlery arfter starter was slapped on the table every thing seemed a issue to the girl on front house. Warm can of coke and took ages for water to come to table ... the food we order the 50 pound board for two and we'll what a shambles the meat looked like it had come of someone else's plate taste less and full of salt was really not served or looked like what your sold from pictures . Most of the meats were not edible chips were the best thing about our experience tbh will not be going back there .

I want to say this joint is absolutely brilliant! I could write an epistle about this place but I just want anyone reading this to take my word for it.. IT IS A GREAT PLACE in Kent (Whitsable) To go eat with friends and family. Remember to make an reservation please. The Food Is 💯 Fresh, Hot And Satisfying. The staff are customer friendly and they know what customer satisfaction means! Shout out to Amelia and Jordan. My wife will blog and vlog about this spot! We love it.

Had such a great experience today at the smoke shack, our waitress was so attentive even with a few customers to handle. The food was gorgeous to a point it was just falling apart as it was cooked to perfection!! Have highly recommend this to many people friends and family. Parking was only a 4 minute walk which was an added bonus. The price for the Sunday bottomless BBQ meal just made the experience worth it. Thank you!

Tiny, terrible food, and only 4 tables in the whole ‘restaurant’ … but what gets me the most is when you or anyone else tries to complain, the owner is VERY unprofessional and rude as you can see from his responses on here, GET THIS PLACE SHUT DOWN! Shocking!

Food is excellent, but limited selection which is understandable being a small restaurant. Also being small there isn't much of a vibe, all that said the food quality is what it's all about and this place delivers in spades.

An incredible experience with amazing food! My partner and I came here for dinner cause we love a smoke house, and we were amazed by the quality of food, service, and overall experience. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and the level of service was excellent all night long, even through a busy service. We ordered the bao buns to start, we had the brisket and the big gig ribs for mains, with mac and cheese topped with brisket, fries, corn bread and beans for sides, and they were all so tasty. I was genuinely upset when I was too full to be able to eat anymore! Before we left, because we went for my partners birthday they brought out a slice of cake with a candle for us at the end which was a really nice gesture, and again, very tasty food! Excellent value for money too, so we cannot wait to go again and will certainly be trying out the sunday BBQ next time!

Wow, smoked meat !! Disappointed that they didn't have any Brisket but the smoked thighs were delicious. i would recommend having the sharer starter for yourself as that has chicken , ribs, pork, wings and two fluffy buns. A nice variety. The chips were amazing and the greens sumptuous. 😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤😋

Website said no booking so we queued, guy infront of us seemed very excited to eat here and said he tried booking but was told he couldn't, it's first come first serve so he had queued for 35 minutes to get in, we weren't far behind. Door opens, delicious smells, only to be told....fully booked 🤷, who knew 🤣! We will get there! Just need to be better prepared 🤪

Absolutely phenomenal food. The smell hits you as soon as you walk in. We had booked for 1pm and food understandably started to run out towards the end of our sitting. Only disappointing part was that it took 15 mins to get our first plate of food for the bottomless brunch, we expected as it was the brunch (same food for everyone) that it would come out a bit quicker. Can understand why it took this time to come out though, but definitely could have eaten more if we had more time left on the hour limit. 100% will be coming back again!

Walked in. Table for one. No one was there to greet me and seat me and provide a menu. The interior is very very small. I walked around which is basically a few paces up and down, for a bit and stood around, awkwardly as other guests were visibly uncomfortable that an ethnic male who they deem as not good looking, existed in front of their eyes and was in close proximity to them. I wanted to leave, but I thought, no why should I be forced to not be present in places where other humans exist? I cannot stress how small the interior is. I eventually sat down on a table for 2 as walking around/standing, was making the white females in the restaurant visibly uncomfortable. I didn't sit down initially because I think that the owner/staff may think it rude for someone to walk in and take a seat without being shown where to sit. I had to wait for about 15 minutes before the young waitress, who is the daughter of the owner (photos of the family are up on the wall) came out to serve me. In that time, an older couple walked in, and they too were looking around for staff. They waited right at the end wherwe the walkway is to the kitchen. Ridiculous. Have staff waiting in the restaurant. She seemed friendly enough, but lacked knowledge on the food, despite telling me to ask her any questions I have. This was specifically with regards to what corn bread is. I bought the brisket. It was a Saturday. 15th July 2023. Meat was flavourless, had no smoky taste to it at all and the sweet sauce was loaded on top of it , to try to mask the fact that the meat lacks flavour. I HATE sweetness in my savoury dishes. But they add BBQ sauce to literally everything sadly. Also the menu on google maps reviews, shows this dish comes with fries and costs £20. Turns out there's a new menu and fries are not given anymore, instead corn bread OR coleslaw OR BBQ Beans. I picked BBQ Beans. The beans portion is tiny. I estimate you get about 15 or less pieces of beans in it. And again had sugar in it. Doesn''t taste as great as the menu makes it out, not even close, and quite watery. It is my opinion, that when sugar is used as abundantly as it is here, it is done to mask the fact that the dishes lack flavour. Meat was cooked fine. No dryness at all. £22 though. Small portion of meat IMO and tiny portion of beans for that price. Not worth it IMO. Had high hopes based on the positive reviews. The small interior can be overlooked as this is a family run business and I think this might be their first restaurant. I'm all for supporting local businesses. I had to move my chair away from the wall and sit at the corner of the table as the chair is right up against the wall, which would mean my elbow would hit the wall when I cut the food. It's that small in there. Asethetically they've done well. It is decent in there. Not the best interior but no the worst. Tables are a bit sticky. Music was good for the type of food served. Also despite the HomCom AC unit, it was hot in there. The door was wide open. I suspect that AC units must not be run if having the door open? It defeats the point of having AC. Spend your money at Cafe Des Amis in Canterbury instead. Amazing food there, most of the time.

We booked a table for 8 of us this included 2 babies and 2 children for the BBQ on a Sunday. I had seen on Instagram that food can run out so we had planned to be there for opening. We couldn't book online due to the size of the table but I messaged over Instagram and was informed that it's a first come first serve so obviously the best time to go was 12 for when it opened. When we arrived I was surprised of the size of the restaurant smaller then I had expected but also thankful they had booked us in because of having 2 babies, as from a business perspective they lost 2 paying seats. Lots of people were turned away. The food was delicious the chicken thighs and wings the best I've tasted. Gutted there was no Mac and Cheese but gives me an excuse to travel back down. Wish we lived closer to visit more.

Awful Experience today , booked a table a month a head , me and my friends got their told us table wasn’t ready to come back in 10 minutes. We came back no food left, only pulled pork. Travelled all this way for nothing. If you know Sunday is busy get more food in day before it’s not rocket science 🙄 NEVER AGAIN

Food is superb and staff very good But my god its hot in there like eating in a hot yoga studio so hot in fact that several possible customers turned away after coming in Including a party of 5 that had a reservation As lovely as the food was I do regret sticking around because I was sweating so much I looked like I just came out of the sea

Food was out of this world, portion sizes were perfect. I recommend having a starter, the wings and ribs were gorgeous. The main brisket was so tender and had a gorgeous flavour. It comes with sides too and they were the perfect size. I had to have the cream soda as it’s a favourite of mine and it didn’t disappoint. It was lovely that the owner came out to have a chat too.

Having eaten in USA, at amazing BBQ places, I can assure you, this isn't even close to that. Prices are high. Interior is tiny. Without the sauces, the meat doesn't taste remotely close to how it should. That's why they cover it in sauce. Save your money, fly to USA, and go to a proper BBQ restaurant. Unprofessional staff.

Just eat here for the first time and the food was amazing!!! My dad come up from Wales and was very impressed!!!! I had the belly bites for stater and were lovely and nice crisp on the belly fat as well. My dad had the bao buns and must say they were amazing, highly recommend. Mains I had the brisket and wow!!! Very simply done just salt and pepper but when you got beef that good, you don't need all the spices. Like they say "let the beef do the talking " it was so tender and you could taste the smoke the whole way through it so you know its been smoked to perfection. Not just the outside, you get it all the way through but it's not overpowering with smoke it's just right. The staff very friendly too, we was served by the owners daughter and she was very welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to. Now all I need to do is go back for the bottomless brunch on Sunday!!

Outstanding service on the 2 occasions I've been in. A really lovely welcome despite us pitching up late last night without a booking. The young lady serving was an absolute delight, really engaging, smiley and chatty, she didn't make us feel rushed, just totally at ease and welcome, our food was prompt and tasty, the wine cold and spot on. Its a shame the venue is as small as it is as it can feel a bit cramped however they are doing their best with the space available and I will definitely be back. Many thanks

The Wife and myself tried this restaurant last night. We weren't entirely sure what it would be like, we just knew the food looked amazing on the Instagram short video we watched. Well. . . What a throughly pleasant experience. It may be small and a touch on the warm side (which is to be expected in my view), but that is its fully worth going through to have the privilege of eating there. The food is just amazing. We had the spicy wings, belly pork bites, brisket burger and the pulled pork. All of it, and I do mean every single morsel, was just the tastiest, juiciest and flavoursome bbq meat I've ever eaten. The raspberry and coconut soda was amazing too. Jordan (Chef) has some serious skills on the grills for sure. Kudos to Sophia too (Waitress) for tending to everyone's needs and running a busy "front of house" on your own, and doing it well! Top marks! Everyone in the area and beyond should try it here. If you don't, you're just missing out on a really good thing!

Me and my partner went here for dinner last night and the food was great the meat was cooked to perfection and we had a really nice server who was very attentive, we went in for the two for £20 each and did end up paying £80 somehow but I think my partner was a little too drunk to notice! Nevertheless a lovely place with lovely food!

Very friendly staff! We were a large group and some of us were delayed, but the staff couldn't be more accomodating. Had pork belly bites whilst waiting (very tasty). I had a big rib and it was super tender and juicy. Also tried the smoked chicken thighs which were also tasty.

I have been to plenty of smoke houses ion both sides of the Atlantic. It’s really nice to have one open within 5 minute walking distance. The food is great slow cooked. It’s a small cozy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere can’t wait to go back

Food is waaaay too salty!! We went for the Sunday brunch for £19.99 per person. Was really not worth the money. Coleslaw was lovely, though! Drinks are very pricey, I would recommend staying away from the cans of Diet Cola, I really can't explain just how disgusting it was. Opt for the Coca-Cola Zero! As it was so quiet when our party of 4 attended (there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant), the waitress had very little to do and spent most of her time standing behind us, making us feel as uncomfortable as she looked. Just not for us to go back again, I'm afraid, which is a shame. It looked so promising online, and we would always like to support local businesses. Reply: Thank you for getting back to me. The main issue's are that the food is just too salty. I'm not sure what making someone aware at the time would have solved, apart from making us wait longer for a new batch to have been cooked? And the waitress standing behind us throughout most of our cover watching us eat. Bless her, she did seem uncomfortable, as it's such a small premises. I'm aware that space is very constricted. Absolutely no complaints about her service! As she was more than obliging serving us ice cold house water. Which was very welcome, due to the salt!!

While the food at this BBQ restaurant was tasty, the overall experience left something to be desired. The chairs were quite uncomfortable and the table was incredibly sticky, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. Additionally, the rib we ordered was quite fatty, which was a bit disappointing. One other thing to note is that we were offered sauces without being told that they were extra, which was unexpected. It would have been helpful to know this ahead of time so that we could have made an informed decision. Despite these issues, the food itself was flavorful and satisfying. If you're looking for good BBQ, this place delivers, but be prepared for some discomfort and potential surprises when it comes to pricing.

You can tell that a lot of time and care has gone into the food here. We had the King size taster platter and everything was succulent and smoky. The rich elements - the sausage is as boisterous as the boar it came from - are delivered sparingly and accompanied with sharp and refreshing garnishes. The coleslaw also provides a refreshing counterpoint to the rich barbecue. You will be eating a lot of tasty meat. Service was excellent. Take cash for tips.

Was hoping to catch you guys in Ashford but we missed out so had to give you guys ago in Whistable! And by god it was the best £100 we'd spent... I would very much recommend the pulled pork boa bun. I went at a very quiet time so a unable to give a true reflection on the atmosphere. The service was perfect and the food generally good however it was a little too salty for my palate hence only 4 stars. The coleslaw was really nice and I recommend that as a side.

Came with my partner to this restaurant and was surprised how tiny it is- which was a really nice change, but make sure to book a table on a busy night. The food was great- and didn’t mind it being a tad expensive as you can tell it’s all made fresh. The menu was a nice size, and mains came with a side of chips which were delicious. Only downside here was that the food was very salty and as the waitress was so busy running around we didn’t manage to get any water (and when we finally asked she forgot to bring it) we had to run across to co-op to buy a bottle in the end as we’d sat there for 2.5 hrs and only managed to get a hold of one drink each. On that note, I used to be a waitress and was surprised to see the waitress struggle to cope in a 6 table restaurant- I noticed many just-eat/deliveroo drivers pick up while we were there, so perhaps that’s why she was overwhelmed. That being said, she was really lovely and worked very hard, but a heads up that we’d be sat in the restaurant for 2.5 hours at the start would have helped us plan our parking etc. Overall, I think the food is great and I’d love to go back- I would just bring a bottle of water and pay for more parking than you think you’ll need!

OMG, the ribs were sooooo good! If you're looking for some smoked delicious meat, this is your place in the southeast. We had two boa buns, wild boar sausage and a brisket. Delicious, had some ribs them also and like my first line, they were very good. We shared the queen meat platter, chicken, ribs, brisket and chips. We were so stuffed, so we took the rest away in a takeaway box. Get there early though, pork belly bite, mac and cheese, and some green sides were all sold out. Didn't stop us sitting down though. Really good atmosphere and the front of house member (I didn't get your name, sorry!), you were a gem!!! We ordered food and it's literally smelt like a bomb fire, the only thing nice was the chips, was really looking forward to it too, the brisket burger tasted like a bomb fire, I've had smoked brisket before and that weren't it.

Delicious and super service - you will not be disappointed! On a Sat night we five enjoyed the pork rib (A-Maaazing), pulled pork and the pork bun and various sides - everything was cooked superbly. Melt in the mouth meat, amazing flavours and such generous portions. Glad it was the other end of town to walk it off on the way home! Highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Noted they do takeaway/deliveries too.

Bit disappointing, overall. Went on a Saturday night about 8, and only 2 other people in the restaurant. After we'd order we were told one of the mains was not available. So we chose another, to be told that was also unavailable. There were only 4 mains on the menu to start! The food, when it came, was actually very good indeed. However as the last people in, we were shocked when the staff started packing up around us, including sweeping the floors near where we were sitting, and putting chairs on tables. The waitress stood there with her arms folded clearly hoping we would just leave our food and leave the premises. As I say, the food itself is excellent, and I know times are tough, but it wouldn't take much to bring this up to scratch.... just have a little more respect for the customer, please.

A delicious meal of ribs, wings, brisket, Mac & cheese, spring greens, sweet potato fries and seasoned Fries. Great music, great vibes and excellent service! So great to have a local smoke house in Kent!

Food subpar, rude and unprofessional management who can't seem to handle honest reviews that leave them with anything less than 4 stars. Surprising seeing as the restaurant only has a 3 star food hygiene rating, yes - that is lower than the greasy Kebab shop located across the road. Having had the luxury of experiencing real American BBQ in the US, the food here lacks any form of smokiness or true flavour once you scrape off the copious amounts of BBQ sauce. Service was horrendous, even when compared to the most average eatery in London. The waitress clearly lacked any service experience, bringing out mains without sides or cutlery. Some of the food didn't even arrive, I mean what rookie restaurant can't deliver fries with only 14 diners in total? The final straw was watching a table get seated, served their food and leave before our sides even arrived. Going by management's responses to other reviews, no doubt they will have some poor excuse for the sh*t show dinner service.

UPDATE: as the owner has responded. 1) The Birthday Girl is a local visited before so was very generous giving a 5 star, even though they were the first one to raise the complaint to the manager on the night and refused to pay full price, 2) the sticky table situation - funny how all the other restaurants I have been to sanitise the surfaces and don’t have the same issue?!, 3) I can assure you I am real - what a strange slogan!, 4)not sure who tipped as we definitely didn’t, and rest of the party walked out complaining, 5) restaurant is about experience AND food, and quite frankly the service was SHOCKING, if training was up to scratch maybe your waitress and manager would have done a better job, 6)) the food was good, not great so don’t get ahead of yourself - general food standards today are high, so service is really what sets a place apart nowadays especially if there is a service charge. I appreciate you feel disappointed with the review, but better you are made aware and can look into addressing them going forward. Luckily for us we dine out often so know good/ bad service when we see it. Of course people can experience for themselves! 1. Whitstable place is TINY, and meant that there was only one other party (of 4) dining in the restaurant alongside our party of 7 adults and 3 children. This was a squeeze as anyone leaving the restaurant had to scrape past my chair just to open the door. Tables were very sticky which kept catching our clothes - not pleasant. 2. Food was good (had it all arrived in the 1hr and 15mins we waited), though for some hours after my partner and I could not satisfy our thirst. I am guessing high levels of sodium in the food? 3. Service was AWFUL. Food came out at different times with people finishing their mains whilst others hadn't even received their starters. Some of us waited well over an hour to receive the first dish. We ordered a side of Fries and Slaw. The slaw made it's way out when we were 75% done with our main, and the fries, well they simply never arrived. To top it off, the party of 4 had arrived and left within the time that we were waiting for food. This was very infuriating. Ordered a top-up of alcoholic drinks which NEVER ARRIVED. The "still water" was two bottles of tap water which was meant to be shared amongst a table of 10 (stingy). The water was not once replaced during our time at the restaurant. 4. PRICING was way off given i) service was just abysmal, ii) food/ drinks didn't even arrive, iii) prices excludes sides (though do include a side salad which we never received as we were told they had run out), iv) 12% service charge added to the bill - for what? See attached picture of king platter which cost £49. 5. The WAITRESS was TERRIBLE and clearly lacking any experience or consideration for guests. This included serving food without cutlery which we had to remind the waitress about several times and meant that we were left staring at our food for 5+ minutes. When the cutlery (and paper napkin) did arrive the waitress leaned over us and our food to place the cutlery on the table, nearly poking my 3 year old in the face with the fork. Ridiculous. 4. Complained to the manager at the end of the meal who apologised before saying to a member of our party "you know how it works here" and that "as long as the food is good". Terrible apology and clear lack of understanding of the concerns we were raising, especially as some of the party (including myself) were first time diners at the restaurant. As a "treat" the manager removed the SERVICE CHARGE which is automatically added to your bill at 12%. Trying to dress this as a "gesture of goodwill" is just farcical given service charge is discretionary and the service was non-existent. 5. RUDE and unprofessional manager. When a member of our party jovially said "we won't say no to a bottle of wine next time", the manager responded with "bring a smile next time". Not at all appropriate and just plain offensive. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Food is not enough to make up for the terrible service and attitude to customers.

We have been 4 times now and the food is always amazing. The staff and owners are always welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We have brought family and friends with us on separate occasions and they have loved the food as much as we do. You guys really are doing it right 🙂

This place has been on our wishlist for a while now and certainly didn't disappoint. There were three of us and we ordered a different starter each so we could share. All were brilliant but the pork belly bites were just out of this world. We then shared a platter between us with three sides. I was worried it wouldn't be enough but there was plenty there and we ended up with a doggy bag to take home! The service was friendly and the drinks were great. This is the best restaurant of this style of food we've been to and will definitely be back.

Oooooh, so good. Lovely smoked ribs and chicken. Also had Mac and cheese, which is better than in Texas (best I've had) and tater tots mmmmm. Classic BBQ beautifully done and brilliant service too. You won't regret it.

Not sure if I’d rush back, food was ok, staff were pleasant but it’s a bit over priced (£4 for 1/2 can of coke) and they were running out of pork … which for a BBQ place is nuts but hey ho. For £160 for 4 it was a bit on the steep side.

I’d been looking forward to eating here since I’d started following them on Instagram. The food and and service went above and beyond my expectations! We had the pulled pork burger and bbq chicken, the flavours and quality of the meals were spot on, the chef/waiter took the time to answer our questions which completed the whole experience. I will be back!

From a barbecue state in the US. Impressed. More good than I could eat and made very well. Recommended if you enjoy being a carnivore! And great music to keep you busy between bites!

Excellent service, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Brisket Mac and cheese was excellent because they paid attention to the Mac and kept it saucy. The brisket was soo tender and delicious. Chicken wings were cooked to perfection and were crispy and succulent. Pulled pork was MOIST and well flavoured. The underrated bit are the pickles on the side which are particularly well executed. The only thing stopping this being a 5 is the dressing on the little salad and the spring greens. On the little salad I think a mustard dressing is the right way to go, but given its so small don't do wholegrain and do french mustard so the dressing is thinner and coats the leaves. On the greens don't use the spice mix dusting because it is already on your meat so go in a different direction to give another flavour to the meal. Beer was delicious too! Would recommend overall!

Food was fabulous in this cute little restaurant. Staff are superb and very friendly!
