The food is definitely tasty, the staff are great, and the atmosphere is incredible – you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the overall experience. However, I was a bit disappointed with the portion sizes for the price. Our chicken curry only had four small pieces of chicken, which felt underwhelming.
The unlimited chai is a nice touch, but it’s pre-sweetened, which isn’t ideal if you’re diabetic or prefer your tea less sweet. The tandoori chicken was a standout – absolutely delicious. The black bean daal, while good, felt a bit overhyped. I’ve had better at a lower price point.
Glad I tried it, but not sure I’d rush back unless there were some adjustments to value for money.
The best ramen I’ve ever had!
I love ramen but I have never tried something so exceptional, every element of the ramen was perfection. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I can’t recommend this place enough. I am so excited to go back!!! I would recommend the spicy tonkotsu!!!
Hotel very well located, near Time Square and 5th Avenue. Clean room. Very good quality of bedding. Small acceptable downside: noise from the busy street quite significant even at night.
Nice little place that has a great atmosphere. It's based at Hove centre, and really easy to get to. We went for dinner on Tuesday night, and it was still busy. It's a good place to meet friends and family. We had a three course meal. The pizza was really tasty. We paid about 50 for two people, we shared a starter and dessert. Will come back and try other dishes.
Very disappointed by this restaurant that had been recommended to us.
First negative : there is an unavoidable supplement on the main dish
The set menu price is listed as £85 but minimum supplement per fish for the main was £52
Second negative : you have to wait about 30 minutes between each course.
When you book your table you have no choice for the time, they ask you to come at 7pm sharp and they warn you that they won't keep your table for more than 5 min ! But then they leave you waiting for 30 minutes for the first course and each following course takes another 30 mins to arrive. So when your main course arrives after 3h30min you are obviously not hungry anymore and are not able to enjoy the meal you paid the extra money for…
We ended up finishing the meal at 11pm so 4 hours after we arrived.
The food was good and the waitress were lovely, but the long waits between each course destroyed the entire experience. We also found it quite inconvenient as a group of five, that most courses came in plates to share. After waiting for so long, we would have appreciated to have one plate each. I don’t recommend this restaurant.
As a lover of haddock and chips, I wanted to give this place a go. It was excellent, amazing batter, chips that easily beat most fish and chip shops and great mushy peas. I'll be back
